About this property

Self catering El Vergel de Chilla for 8 people

Each of us loved Candeleda independently for years, and unbeknownst to know what became a family project for the future to which we devote many years of effort and love.

We wanted our children to grow up in a natural and rural environment and after years of research and about to throw in the towel we were offered the chance and fell in love instantly dogs and house.

Our neighbors welcomed us with open arms and we opened the doors of his house giving us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in their habits and learn of rural life, they made us feel at home from the start.

For years we concentrate on keeping the essence and learn from this area and its people while educábamos children in love and respect for animals, the countryside and its people.
We work in Madrid, and every weekend we are looking forward, Candeleda is our retreat where privacy and family enjoyed most of our neighbors and friends coming from everywhere.

While our love for this area grew a friend and neighbor wanted to change course, and offered us his home and rural tourism business that much love had dedicated, we decided to take the witness and become hosts of this area we love.

Thus he was born Chilla El Vergel intended to open the doors of our house so that from respect can enjoy them and learn as we do in this area and its people and rest.
The houses are in the bush, just back, bordering the Natural Park of the Sierra de Gredos. Both houses are on the south side of Almanzor, on the side of Chilla and in the region of Candeleda, one of the most beautiful villages south of the province of Avila.
The area is idyllic for lovers of adventure and risk for all kinds of activities on, or just to relax nature.

    Un lugar idílico.

    Las casas están en un paraje, aunque algo difícil de encontrar, falta señalización, perfecto. Con unas vistas del valle preciosas. Todo limpio ,organizado, suficiente menaje, y el exterior muy bien cuidado. Nosotros alquilamos las dos casas y disfrutamos mucho del fin de semana..

    ¡Encantados! Hacía tiempo que no disfrutábamos tanto un fin de semana en familia. Nos encanto el sitio, el entorno y sobre todo la casita. Super cómoda, muy acogedora, elegante... mejor que en casa ;) Además está situada en un lugar privilegiado, con unas vistas excepcionales, en la misma sierra de Gredos, y muy cerca de la preciosa ermita de Chilla

    Estuvimos una pareja con un niño de 3 años 4 días en una de las casas de las abejas, no había nadie en la otra cosa y disfrutamos de la finca nosotros solos. Fue absolutamente maravilloso, la parcela es espectacular, el jardín, las terrazas... El silencio es increíble, se escucha la naturaleza y na da más (ovejas, vacas, pájaros). La cocina está genial equipada así que nos dedicamos a cocinar, y disfrutar del jardín. Fuimos al final del invierno y nos hizo un tiempo estupendo, pero seguramente volvamos en primavera o finales de verano, con amigos para disfrutar de ambas casas y si se puede, de la piscina :) Las casas tienen un diseño muy confortable y mucha luz. El trato de os propietarios es fantástico. Muy, muy recomendable.

    Recomendable 100%

    Estuvimos alojados una familia con dos niños de 7 y 9 años. Al contratar m, la atención de Maria fue exquisita e inmediata. Cuando llegamos, Ana nos atendió estupendamente y se nos hizo la estancia más agradable. La casa está decorada con mucho encanto y está llena de comodidades. El entorno facilita un sinfín de actividades. Nosotros contratamos a Pedro Rico, que nos guió por distintas rutas a pie y nos explicó la flora, aves, etc. Fueron dos rutas de 5 horas cada una que se divertidisimas para los niños (sorprendentemente la hicieron sin problema). También visitamos el museo de las abejas. Germán es un apicultor que sabe explicar y hacer ameno el mundo de las abejas y su importancia para las personas. También aprovechamos para hacer una ruta a caballo con toda la familia. La gastronomía de la zona es espectacular. Recomiendo esta opción al 100 × 100 y merece la pena pagar un poco más por unas vacaciones que han resultado inolvidables para toda la familia. Seguro que volvemos. Miguel

    Un lugar mágico

    Las casitas de El Vergel de Chilla están encastradas en la ladera sur del Almanzor, con unas vistas impresionantes sobre el valle del Tiétar. A la espalda, la "tortuga" (protección de la montaña) y al frente, el "fénix" (una amplia y enorme vista sobre el valle, que produce una sensación única de paz y bienestar. He podido disfrutarlo en dos ocasiones. Todos los detalles están enormemente cuidados por la propiedad: el camino de entrada, iluminado con pequeños farolillos, el disimulado parking, la zona de barbacoa, la pérgola que cubre la maravillosa terraza junto a un ejemplar majestuoso de madroño, las pilas de leña, la decoración estilo provenzal francés, la amplia cocina cuadrada con su isla, el baño amplio, completo y decorado con mucho estilo. Y lo mejor: un enorme salón con grandes ventanales que proporcionan impresionantes vistas al valle, mientras que puedes disfrutar de una maravillosa chimenea en esquina (que estará encendida a tu llegada) que mantiene la casa caldeada incluso en los días más duros de invierno. Y María, la propietaria, un encanto de mujer en el trato. Definitivamente, un lugar único, mágico e imprescindible en Candeleda.

    El Vergel is Chilla is privileged place, with the most stunning views you can imagine with all the Tietar Valley at the foot. It is a private farm where privacy, surrounded by woods, streams and plenty of wonderful places to enjoy the outdoors and breathe.
    Valley Tietar Avila is the region that enjoys privileges that makes it unique and incomparable. Candeleda to 432m above sea level has a microclimate of mild winters and summers with average temperatures of 26º. The valley is a contrast of scents and colors. The cherry blossoms in spring, green meadows, the clear waters of its rivers, gorges and pools and the white peaks of Gredos are an unmistakable explosion of color. Candeleda Chilla and are ideal places to live outdoors many good and great times. Canoeing, hiking, horseback or bicycle, visit the caves of the Eagle, the castro Celtic Veton, you can play Cluedo looking for the culprit within your group, kid, goat cheese, honey bees Valley, chamomile oil eat or paprika are essential candeledanos.
