Come enjoy beautiful Gentle Winds Condos in St. Croix USVI and stay in our lovely 2bd/2bth ground floor air conditioned condo located just thirty steps from the beach and ocean, the closest building in the complex. Our west facing location provides for spectacular sunsets from the comfort of the screened lanai, where most times you'll hear only the soothing sound of the Caribbean Sea. Your comfort is ensured with two bedrooms fitted with memory foam bedding, one king and one queen, each with it's own full bath; additionally, a queen sofa bed was is in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for those times you choose not to enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. To keep you connected and entertained Wi-Fi, DirecTV, a dvd selection, and a selection of games.

The Gentle Winds property itself is a relaxing uncrowded and spectacular North Shore location comprised of 60 or so condos in 9 buildings located on approximately 60 oceanfront acres. Some of the facilities available include the beach, the chlorine free fresh water pool, two tennis courts, a half basketball court, a kids' play area, shuffleboard, ping-pong, another small play area by the beach and pool, you can practice your golf game on the open fields, and many walk or jog along the long entrance road and open space. There is also a community "Great Room" adjacent to the pool for reading, relaxing, games and BBQ's are available for evening dining on the patio overlooking the beach and ocean. The "Beach Shack" provides delicious food and beverages while you relax by the pool or on the beach and is a gathering spot for all. The swimming fronting the beach is protected by a reef and is good for snorkeling.

St Croix itself offers many activities for young and old alike, as well as dining and entertainment. Salt River Bay (Columbus landed here)and Marina are next door where kayaking is popular, especially the evening trips to the bio- luminescent bay, one of only a few in this part of the world. Nearby also on the North Shore is Cane Bay, a beautiful spot with excellent snorkeling and scuba diving (dive shop located here)as well as some good oceanfront dining spots for all. Further afield are 3 golf courses, jeep tours, atv tours, sailing/boating, fishing, a botanical garden, Whim Great House Museum, rum factory tours, a casino and even a beer drinking pig are among the many things to do and see. A sailing trip to Buck Island National Park is a must do for its idyllic beach and good snorkeling. Just relaxing at the Gentle Winds beach and pool is also a favorite thing to do.
