EXPTIONELL INSTÄLLNING: din privata gite i ett karaktärshus i Normandie

Detta hus från 1500-talet, restaurerat med respekt för tidens arkitektur, inkluderar en 3-rums-gîte på 90 m², denna gîte har en oberoende egen ingång, ett stort vardagsrum och matsal och öppet kök som tillåter mycket vänlig, rum med fantastisk utsikt över den omgivande landsbygden och mycket praktisk tvättstuga. Den lilla trädgården är ett plus när vädret är trevligt och det inbjuder till att lata sig ... promenaderna garanteras med, scenen i skogen (trädklättring) på 5 minuter, staden Villedieu-les-poêles hantverkstad historia och dess klockgjuteri 10 minuter bort, Mont-Saint-Michel 50 minuter, och landningsstränderna cirka en timme med bil.

Hyresgästerna är helt oberoende och har till sitt förfogande det nödvändiga för köket samt diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare.
Uppvärmning är extra för vintersäsongen (4 € per dag).

På övervåningen: två sovrum, ett med dubbelsäng, det andra med två enkelsängar. Ett badrum med dusch och handfat, separat toalett.

Det finns en stormarknad, bagerier, slaktare, delikatessbutiker som är öppna mellan 08:00 och 20:00, flera är också öppna på söndagsmorgonen. Dessa butiker ligger 3 km från stugan, du hittar allt du behöver.
Insättningskontrollen återlämnas vid avresa från värdarna efter att verifiera lagret i detalj.

The perfect,quiet, warm and cosy gite

The property is ideally situated for both a walking and sightseeing holiday. It is very well equipped with lots of information about local activities, with a well stocked kitchen making it easy to eat at home. Thank you hosts definitely 5* !

A perfect holiday

There are so many good things we could say about our stay in this beautiful and peaceful gite. It was our aim to find a quite place to rest and recharge, and we certainly found it here. An excellently well equiped 'home from home', with a warm welcome from Brigitte and Daniel and the best shower you could wish for. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful house in the country

This was a wonderful and peaceful place to stay at. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. It was obvious that this place was well taken care of. The host was very helpful and we would happily stay here again. Note that the online picture of the entrance to the house is on the side of the house facing away from the road. This made us a little uncertain when first trying to find the house,

France in March

We stayed in this wonderful gite for the month of March and it fulfilled all our expectations. It was well equipped, especially the laundry facilities, immaculately clean, lovely and warm and comfortable. It was an ideal location for us to walk into the nearby town of St-Sever and to drive to Vire and Villedieu-des-Poeles. The owners Brigitte and Daniel were very welcoming and helpful and the perfect hosts. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful, quiet gite in lovely area

Had a lovely week in this pretty gite, we very much enjoyed the nearby cows and the absolute peace and quiet. The owners were nearby but not at all intrusive, and very helpful. The gite is ideally situated for visiting lots of nearby towns and places of interest. We visited Arromanches, the DDay beaches and museums, we also loved the nearby towns of Vire and Villedieu-les-Poêles. The gite had everything necessary for a good stay and the beds were very comfortable too. We hope to return in future. Thank you so much.

A peaceful, rural location

This was a lovely, quiet spot. The space downstairs was great, and the bathroom good (especially the shower). The downside was the kitchen - a vast quantity of crockery, cutlery and glassware but little ‘cooking equipment’. A few small saucepans without lids, no baking trays etc. You might also want to bring your own bath towels. Lots of towels provided but absolutely tiny and thin!

This Gite is the Best

This is the best Gites we have ever stayed in. It's attractive, very well maintained, both inside and out and outstandingly well equipted. Everything you need and more. The equipment is modern and it all works. Extras like herbs for cooking, hand washing cream, salt, pepper, vinegar and olive oil for the table. Plus a vase of dress cut flowers on the dining table. This all adds up to a very good first impresion. When Brigitte was asked for help or assistance she gave it willingly. Would we recommend it? Without reservation.

Away from it all

Located in the peace and quiet of the countryside, nicely furnished with all the items need ed for total independence. The town of St Sever Calvados is an hours walk away and has a small Carrefour supermarket which has all the necessary items required at reasonable prices. The internet was very slow, kept dropping and could only be accessed by placing yourself in the corner of the gite against the adjoining door to the owners accommodation. This proved a problem when trying to plan our daily forays to the areas of local interest although there are many brochures available in the gite

Gîte propre, spacieux, très bien équipé, au calme et dans la nature. Nous avons pu découvrir la Normandie, les plages du débarquement, les cimetières américain, anglais et Allemand, la pointe du Hoc, le Mont St Michel, St Malo...

Propriétaire sympathique, une bouteille de cidre nous attendait dans le réfrigérateur. Très beau gîte et bien équipé au milieu de la nature mais avec les commerces à quelques kilomètres seulement. bon point de départ pour aller visiter les plages du débarquement, cherbourg ou st malo.

A peaceful retreat, and lovely owners.

We really like this gite. Peaceful location, perfect for relaxation and local area is pretty with lots of nice villages and scenic drives. The weather is unpredictable, so an upgrade to the indoor seating would be nice for more comfort on rainy days. Overall, it's great!
