Loved everything about this place. Convenient location, gated, and easy walk to the beach from the room. The host had all the beach accessories and sand toys you needed. He was also very nice and quick with all communication. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Ben the property manager is very responsive. The condo is very nice. The kitchen needs to be better stocked. We were able to hear the renters above us talking so either the vents are connected or the ceiling is thin. Nice bikes and beach gear.

Awesome stay

Nice place. Great location. Many amenities. Only 2 small complaints: no toiletries and the coffee pot appeared to have never have been washed.

This is a well located condo. It’s older construction but I really liked that it is a corner unit and has a very pleasant balcony. And the complex has a lovely common area with a pool and barbecue options, plus good access to the beach. I would stay there again.

I loved this rental, very clean and perfect location. We could have walked or rode bikes to almost everything but it was raining throughout the stay, so we drove. This is my new favorite beach. We’ve been going to Destin for years and it has become way overcrowded and lost the beach vibe! St Simone’s has not! It was beautiful!

We LOVED this condo! We were there in April for Spring Break. The location is perfect and the condo was decorated so cute. It had everything we needed. Looking forward to staying there again in September.

Nice condo in a great location

Pictures accurately portray the tastefully decorated condo. Very comfortable for 3-4 guests. Kitchen stocked to prepare and cook basic meals. The location on the island is really good - we love biking to the pier, shops and restaurants that are nearby. Pool was nice. While this does have beach access which is great, it is a good 5-10 minute walk through the dunes down to the beach. It’s fine, but it’s not your typical beachfront property with a view of the ocean. Owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions that I had! We would stay here again!

Amazing location and amenities

We loved our spring break stay! The place came with bikes, which we loved riding around the island, and a wagon with chairs and anything you'd need for a day at the beach. The place was well-stocked, and the beds were comfy. It had books, puzzles, and games, and the balcony was nice to enjoy coffee. Our dog loved making friends at the beach! We felt the place was not as clean as we would like, but we read the previous reviews and were somewhat expecting that. Nothing alarming but something to be aware of. We would definitely come back as we fell in love with St. Simon's!

Excellent property

With two young children, we were looking for a place very close to the beach where we wouldn't have to cross the street. After selecting another one of his properties, Ben suggested this property because it was on the first floor, rather than the third, after hearing that we have little ones. We were very impressed with his thoughtfulness and even more so with the property and location. It's even closer to the beach than we imagined, making it so easy to get there with the kids. The wagon was a life saver for us. The condo itself was clean and very well stocked. Close to grocery store and restaurants, as well. We would easily make the decision to return!

Great location!

The place is great! It’s smaller but well equipped. Steps from the pool and beach. The bedrooms are well sized and comfortable. Have two decent bathrooms is nice as well. It’s lived in and relaxed. There are plenty of towels for home and beach. The cart for the beach makes it even easier to take the chairs that are provided down. The bikes are super handy to get to town to shop or go to dinner. The area and the people are great! Ben was super responsive if a need came up and took the time to check in to make sure we had everything and our trip was going well. That’s honestly a first for me, and I’ve used VRBO a ton! Thanks Ben!

Our host Ben was great and very responsive to any questions we had. A nicely renovated older complex with everything we needed for our family of four plus our family dog. Space for her to run around and swim at the beach as well. The pool was wonderful and clean. All of the people we encountered were kind and friendly. The beach chairs and bikes Ben provided were perfect for the beach. We went almost every day. Great location to get up and walk to the beach for sunrise. Also close to many restaurants, shops, etc. We walked, biked, and drove. The beaches were very clean here as well as on Jekyll Island too. The benches along Ocean Drive were a nice spot to sit watch part of the sunset also and just a few short blocks from the condo. We really enjoyed these restaurants/Cafes: Tramicis, Porch, Three Little Birds, Wake up Coffee, Palmer’s Village Cafe, and St. Simon’s Crepes. Would recommend to others to visit this area and check out Ben’s Condo. Thanks for the memories!

The unit was clean, the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in, especially since I have back pain daily. I was not stiff or hurting when getting up every morning, this was a blessing. The pool area was great, not over crowded or too loud.
