Denali Hideaway si trova a mezzo miglio al largo della Parks Highway, immerso nella piccola città di Healy, a soli 11 miglia a nord del Parco Nazionale di Denali. Costruita da un talentuoso falegname locale, questa splendida e meravigliosa casa in Alaska è un ottimo rifugio dopo una lunga giornata avventurosa nell'interno dell'Alaska.

La nostra residenza con due camere da letto e un bagno è collegata, ma privata, con un ingresso indipendente. Può ospitare comodamente quattro persone con un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli, bagno completo, soggiorno con mini-frigo, forno a microonde e altri piccoli elettrodomestici da cucina per rendere più piacevole il vostro soggiorno. Il proprietario e il maestro artigiano originali della casa si sono occupati con cura della costruzione dell'intera casa, compresa la realizzazione di tutti i soffitti della casa, travi di sostegno e complessità.

Situato a Healy, ci sono una varietà di ristoranti, un birrificio locale, un piccolo negozio di alimentari, una pittoresca caffetteria locale, un lago d'Alasca e molti sentieri locali. Per più intrattenimento, ristoranti e attività, basta guidare per 11 miglia appena fuori l'ingresso del Parco Nazionale di Denali. Questo vivace centro turistico, noto ai locali come "Glitter Gulch", ospita decine di ristoranti, spettacoli notturni, numerosi negozi di articoli da regalo e la porta di accesso a molte altre attività avventurose.

Great place to stay
Very nice and clean place. Friendly host. They let us borrow bear spray for hiking and chairs to watch the aurora. We had stayed at Chena Hot Springs 2 days prior and compared to that place, this place is 5 stars for sure.

Great option near Denali
Modern, clean apartment over garage. Our family of four really felt very comfortable. No kitchen but keurig, refrigerator and microwave. Coffee, tea and snacks provided. Very convenient to Denali. Travel information available and other amenities like bear spray and insect repellent. It is located on a gravel road which initially has has mobile homes in disrepair but then merges into nice homes including this property. It really felt like a home away from home and we recommend it highly.

Quiet lovely home
Excellent communication with Kami. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Kami had everything stocked from toiletries to kitchenware. The only thing that could have been available was an outdoor place to sit and relax. It's about 20 minutes from Denali park.

A GREAT location in Healy!
This property is off the highway and in the bush … awesome! We loved the apartment and the location! We were a short drive to Denali! The building is amazing construction and the suite was very comfortable! A wonderful experience all round! Would stay again in a second!

Loved our stay here!! The beds were very comfy with great linens and extra blankets as needed. Great location. Host and family were super friendly and very responsive. Space was very clean and had everything we might possibly need. Water dispenser provided good drinking water. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was clean and inviting. You could tell that a lot of time had been put into making the place very homey. Nice and close to Denali NP and away from the touristy area. Would highly recommend the Denali Hideaway!

Great rental for Denali
This was a great rental for our trip to Denali. My husband and I were traveling with our two college age children and we had plenty of space. Lovely cosy spot with lots of houseplants and throw blankets. Enough couch space for everyone and a fabulous selection of national park themed games.

No Heat, was 59F in rooms
We checked in about 3pm and temp was 59F. I talked to host downstairs and she said heat was turned off in June. The next day the sun was out and temp was 62F. Still cold for a shower or just sitting around with Grandsons. We paid to have a nice cabin, but expect heat and they did not have a space heater either. Host was not happy with our comments in the book left at our room for guests to tell about stay. She sent a nasty email to us. I also sent a message to Vrbo and no response after 5 days. So, now I am writing this review which could have been different had I received a response from vrbo. I would expect the Host and Vrbo to refund some money, being we did not get the heat in the room, making the room less than standard.

We would stay here again.
We appreciated how clean the place was. It was also quiet and comfortable, matching the description on the listing. Kami was helpful with suggestions of other things to do when the NP was closed. If we make it back to Alaska, we would plan to stay here again.

We had a very comfortable two night stay in this well-maintained and attractive place. We appreciated that it was located relatively near the main road to Denali but was well away from the crowds on tours.

Beautiful place and outstanding hosts
The property is exactly as described and the pictures are very accurate. Kami, the host, is a very detailed person. Communication with her was great and she was very accommodating to our needs. We found all we needed, coffee, plastic cutlery and plates, several shampoos and conditioner, extra towels, extra blankets and many other things. The beds are very comfy, and while there is not a kitchen, the microwave and fridge do a good job. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had is that the Internet was not working and the TV too far from the sofas.

Very nice stay at 'Denali Hideaway'. Upon arrival we briefly meet Kami outside and she was just full of energy and local information. Very quiet in a modern-day log home. If we're ever back in the Denali area or passing thru we would make reservations at the Denali Hideaway' again!

Great Spot Close to Denali
We found the options for Denali lodging limited. This location was awesome. Clean and nice beds. No kitchen but we just cooked in the microwave. We didn’t spend much time there. Most our time was spent in the park. My wife and I enjoyed reading and relaxing on the couches before our boys woke up for a day of outside fun. Highly recommend this location.

This home is owned by Dakota and Kami MacIver. They are both lifelong Alaskans & high school sweethearts who settled down in their hometown to raise a family of their own. Our growing family enjoys many of Alaska's abundant resources such as: fishing in south central Alaska, subsistence hunting and gathering berries in the fall, and managing a trapline in the winter. We also enjoy camping, taking out our ATV, and coaching youth hockey in the winter. We are also active members of our local church and enjoy volunteering there too.
