We drove to Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba, and Granada, reserving a day for each city. And the fifth was spent exploring Antequera.
When we got back from our day-trips every evening, the house felt like a home. It was specious, quiet, had a lovely yard, and was well supplied with amenities for a long stay.
What will stay in our minds, however, are not the Moorish attractions, but the spectacular view of Mount Torcal, and the sound of cowbells--actually goat-bells-- as the animals were herded to the pasture every morning.
Cristobal, the owner, proved to be a gracious host, despite our language difficulty. Highly recommended for serious sightseeing or just a restful getaway.
