Live like a Londoner. The flat has its own entrance as originally it was a corner shop.
The open plan living/dining/kitchen is at ground level with a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, if you wish. It has an oven, microwave, gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. There are two stools for eating at a counter.
A few steps down to the two bedrooms and shower room (with toilet and basin) and en suite bathroom (Shower over tub, basin, toilet and bidet).
The master bedroom, with en suite, can be arranged as a King bed (6ft wide) or as two extra long twin beds. It opens onto a small patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a evening drink. Smoking is allowed on the patio.
The other bedroom has a Queen bed (5 1/2 ft wide bed).
The living room has two sofas, one of which has a small double sofa bed.
The dining room seats 6.
The entire flat is about 900 ft 2 (80 square meters).
This is a non-smoking, non-pet flat.
We provide some items for your arrival but you will probably have to get more, especially for stays of more than a few days. Items include shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, oil & vinegar.
We have a crib and high chair for use at no charge, upon request. Due to the nature of the decoration, the flat is okay for 2-5 year olds only if they are well behaved. It'll save you from constantly running after them.

Why Joel Schweitzer chose Paddington
The flat used to be a corner shop. It still has the stained glass windows with farm scenes. As I grew up on a dairy farm there was some resonance for me. I was looking for a project and this house had to be completely redone. I have enjoyed doing it up, while learning the history of the area and the type of construction typical to London in the mid-19th century.
What makes this Apartment unique
You'll like the location as it is central to the best parts of London. The area is quiet and residential but close to shops and restaurants. We hope you, like other guests, will feel very comfortable in a flat that is like a home, much more than a rental flat or a hotel room.

Just as advertised
Joel was a great host, helping us out when we forgot an adapter. This is a split level flat with bedrooms and bathrooms in what in Canada we'd call the basement. It is very clean and surprisingly bright. A 5-10 minute walk from both Paddington and Warwick tube stops.
Perfect place to settle for a week. Convenient location to Paddington Station
Had a very nice time at 21A St Mary's Terrace. It was just as advertised. Great location and convenient to Paddington. Quiet leafy neighborhood. I like being on street level personally. Easy entrance and exit. Would definitely stay here again.
Spacious, quiet & great location
We are a family of 4 with 2 teens and this flat was perfect for our needs. With 2 bathrooms we could all get ready for our day quickly. While we didn't spend a lot of time in the flat, having a kitchen is always a must for us due to my son's food allergies. This kitchen is well-equipped, and we prepared take-away lunches every day. We found it very easy to get anywhere we needed to go via the nearby Paddington Station, and the neighbourhood itself is lovely to explore on its own. Abbey Road was a short walk and a fun place to people-watch. The bedrooms had blackout curtains as well so we could sleep past the early dawn. I can't recommend this flat enough. Joel was super to communicate with and very responsive.

Well appointed, comfortable, good location
The hosts/owners are lovely, very responsive, and go the extra mile to make things as nice as possible. They have great suggestions for restaurants in the neighborhood. We loved our location both in proximity to the subway and other fun neighborhoods and restaurants but also because it was quiet so we could get a good night's sleep. The apartment was comfortable and kitted out with everything we needed. The ironed sheets and plantation shutters as well as the comfortable sofas made it extra nice. We are happy customers.
We loved it here. Clean and very cozy and well equipped. Great location within walking distance from some amazing restaurants.
Easy access from Heathrow airport as the Heathrow Express or Connect arrive at Paddington Station. We are a 5 minute walk from there. Other airports accessible with underground, train or bus connections. Underground stations are 5 minutes walk away. The area is a leafy residential area with canals and shops.
