This property is decorated so cute and it is the perfect location to everything! Easy check in and attentive owners.

Excellent location

A cosy property in the heart of York. The location is excellent with most places only a 10 minute walk away. The property was very clean and welcoming. Checking in and checking out was simple with excellent communication provided before the stay.

Awesome York Stay

What a wonderful stay. Right in the heart of old town York. Yet set back away from the road ways. I park at q-park just around the corner. Definitely a worthy place to consider when going to York.

This is an antique lover's delight with modern amenities in a perfect York location. It is like living in a design magazine! It's quirky, trendy and extremely comfortable. Thanks for providing accommodations as memorable as York itself.

2 Night Break

A great little place to stay, perfectly situated and good value for money. It was a busy weekend in York with it being the Ebor festival but we weren't disturbed at all. Everything is where you need it within walking distance and the street next to the accommodation has restaurants from all over the world to suit all tastes.

Stunning, quirky apartment

We absolutely loved our stay at the old mill. Apartment was stunning and very quirky. Location was perfect, only being a stones throw from shambles and local restaurants ect. Apartment had everything you need down to Bluetooth speakers and coffee machines. If we ever go back to York I'll be looking to stay here again.

Very Quirky !

The Old Mill was a very quirky apartment. Very different from anywhere else we have ever stayed. There were three of us - it was more suited to two people as when the sofa bed was made up it took up most of the living space. Great location.

Amazing apartment

This place has the wow factor. Very quirky, lots of thought has been given to the interior design. Very clean throughout and extremely comfortable. Right in the centre of York with many bars and restaurants close by. Highly recommend staying at The Old Mill. The alleyway next to the apartment is a bit noisy at night time as it backs onto a pub and rear of a restaurant but wouldn't put me off staying here again.

Perfect location... Almost.

This location was perfect for a ramble on the Shambles of York. Everything you might want to do is a short walk from your doorstep. Property was clean, and not too hard to find, with an expert cab driver. The interior was fun and quirky, with everything we needed for a two night stay in York. My only criticism is that it was loud. Much of the night on the Sunday we arrived, there was loud talking outside, and lots of garbage/recycling noise at all hours.

Just like the pictures

Lovely place presented just like the photos. Great location but that is also a negative re noise. I believe others have also mentioned it but you actually get very little sleep due to the smashing of bottles from the pubs near by emptying bottles into the larger bins. Also a lot of noise from people out in the alley right outside the windows. Not just a once occurrence. Both nights we were awake from about 3am with the bottles, people and then the construction guys who started at 5am that were working on the property in front. Not this hosts fault and they present it well but thought people need to know

Great Trip To York

The apartment was in a perfect location. We were able to reach all the sights by walking and enjoyed the night life of York. The welcome package was an added bonus to start our stay

Weekend break with my wife

We booked a weekend stay at the old Mill. We were amazed at the apartment. The photos on the website look great but still don't do it justice. So spacious and luxurious and the location couldn't be better. Step out of the alley straight into the shambles. We love York and visit most years. We won't be staying anywhere else in the future. The only negative was the parking. The carpark is only 5 minutes away but the pizza place round the corner park their cars right in front of the apartment door.

Very pleased with our accommodation

Loved staying here, so close to cafe's, pubs, shops, tourist spots made everything so easy. The accommodation was just as described online and we would definitely book to stay here again when visiting York.

Fantastic property

Wow, what a great luxury apartment in a perfect central location. Everything you needed provided including kitchen/hand/bath towels, all cleaning items, tea coffee snacks etc. Smart TV with Netflix, books, games and music, including a piano for your own entertainment. Although parking not available we prebooked this nearby and was at a very reasonable cost. £19 for 3 full days. Even managed an early check in too. All communication with the property was excellent. No negatives at all! We will be back

Lovely apartment

Very nice apartment that is perfectly located. Love the decor! Didn't like how toilet is jammed agains the bathtub. Also don't like separate hot and cold faucets in the sink. Water easily splashes out of the tub while showering. Kitchen was very well equipped with modern appliances and plenty of utensils.
