ORCHIDEA BIANCA is a modern loft-style flooded-with-light apartment with several windows situated inside the walls of Lucca.

Very recently spruced-up to show it off to its best, the apartment has a laid-back and easy-going style, it is on the ground floor, it sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms and has WIFI, air conditioning and a very reliable Hi Speed WIFI connection.

It has a stylish open-plan main living area incorporating comfortable seating and a dining area. A well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools is connected to the living area. On the same floor there is an elegant master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the lower ground floor another master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom.

Situated in an exclusive and sought after location within the walls of Lucca, this is the heart of Lucca fashion, galleries, antique shops, traditional market streets and restaurants. Visit markets, ancient churches, shops and clothing boutiques, antiques and art galleries, fabulous restaurants, elegant tea shops and cafés where in another century writers and philosophers met. The apartment is just a short walk from the unique Amphitheatre Square and literally a few steps away from Via Fillungo and Guinigi Tower as well as the Lu.c.c.A Centre of Contemporary Art. From this incredible neighbourhood you can walk to most Lucca sites, and if public transportation is your choice, there are many buses that come through the bus terminal just 1 block away.

Just around the corner from your apartment, on Via della Fratta, you will find a fabulous cheese shop, famous patisserie and bakery, a butcher, fresh fruit and vegetables, an artisan chocolate maker, wine merchant and delicatessen, as well as two small supermarkets, all within 5 minutes walk of your apartment.

Lucca Train Station, a 15 minute walk from the apartment, takes you to Viareggio, Florence, Pisa, Livorno, Pistoia and Montecatini as well as La Spezia and Cinque Terre.

Crowned with your very own city view, enjoy bright vistas across the surrounding Medieval buildings, streets and the proximity to some of Lucca’s most iconic landmarks including the Reinassance Walls and the Torre Guinigi.

A Dream Stay in Tuscany

I would like to share our exceptional experience in this wonderful apartment that feels like home. The decor is beautiful and it is equipped with everything you need, which truly makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. The location is unbeatable it's close to everything you need: the city walls, the center, supermarkets, as well as the train and bus stations. Plus, there’s a great variety of cafes and restaurants just steps away, making it easy to explore the local culture. We spent a month in this place and it was a dream come true to live the Tuscan experience and travel around the region. I can’t recommend enough the coffee and pastries from Momos Café, as well as the delicious take-out meals from Gino and dining at Nonna Clara. The support and service from the apartment were excellent, always quick and efficient, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Tuscany.

Lucca is an amazing city and this apartment is centrally located within the city wall. The apartment was beautiful and exatly as the pictures show. The location made it super simple to get to restaurants and shopping! I would highly recommend visiting Lucca and staying at this partment.

Fabulous

We were looking for accommodation to attend a Rod Stewart concert. The concert was brilliant and with a 15 minute walk back the apartment it was a perfect evening. Apartment was perfect for 4 of us - clean, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed the sights of Lucia, attended the Puccini concert which was an amazing start to our stay. Perfect weather, perfect accommodation, fabulous food and ease of travel from Pisa.

We stayed in this apartment for 6 days. We were met upon arrival and shown around the apartment. The apartment was lovely - clean, attractive with all of the facilities we were looking for it’s location inside Lucca made it close to everything we wanted to do and easy access for day trips outside of Lucca as well. The owners also provided a helpful guide for a variety of services. I highly recommend this space!!

Location, Elizabeth was the best and imformative. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Couldn't ask for a better place. You were very accommodating. We will definitely come back. Musky smell in basement. Hopefully you can address it. But overall fantastic place.

Don't judge a book by its cover!

While the outside is definitely old, you walk in to this magical, modern apartment that is very tastefully decorated. The apartment has everything you would need including an amazing information booklet that tells you absolutely everything you need to know, a fully functional kitchen, beautiful bed linens, comfy beds and washer and dryer The hosts were extremely responsive whenever we asked a question. All in all it made our stay in Lucca such a memorable one. The only teeny tiny recommendation would be to have some newer towels in the bathrooms.

Great apartment.

Check in with Elisabeth was very easy and she had great recommendations. Apartment was in a great location. Beautifully renovated and super clean. Cafes and restaurants close by. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were beautiful, had a laundry which was helpful. Had an issue with the washing machine and Elizabeth sorted it immediately. Great apartment. Definitely would stay again

Attention to details

Apartment is as described. It is clean and well equipped. There are several things that do need attention. Mattress in the lower room is extremely hard and uncomfortable. Woke up each day with horrible aches. Lower bathroom sink does not drain well. Washer and dryer is a plus, but dryer does not dry. In need of more blankets and towels. Towels had to be washed and I could not dry them in dryer… lastly towels are old and worn. These may not be major things, but they are not things I want to deal with while on vacation. Breaker trips easily so beware.

My Home away from My American Home!

When you are 6000 miles from your home you look for a place that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. This totally describes the beautiful Orchidea Bianca...my home away from home. Everything is designed for comfort. All the necessary appliances are available and come with complete instructions. The atmosphere is enhanced by all the personal touches from the owners. Flowers, lovely linens, beautiful china and glasses...all this plus extras. The apartment is airy and bright. The furnishings are new and maintained with the utmost of care. This made my extended stay in Lucca one that will always have a place in my heart. If my health and availability of this charming place is available in the future ...I will be first in line to sign up. Grazie Mille for my beautiful home away from my American home.

Posizione fantastica dentro le mura di Lucca, due camere e due bagni molto curati e comodi, arredo moderno e curato Un apparecchio tv nelle camere, l’unica pecca, che non riguarda però dall’apparta In se, la mattina c’è molto passaggio soprattutto di camioncini per il ritiro dei rifiuti, non è facile dormire dopo le 8.00
