Honeywood Lodge by Bloom Stays with Indoor Pool ideal for families and children

Honeywood Lodge: sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, 3 shower-rooms (1 is located by the pool area), open plan kitchen/dining room/sitting room.

Ground Floor
Entry leads into a hallway / games area - Fun sized basket ball and throw game, air hockey table and table football. Doors open onto a decked verandah.
Swimming pool lobby and entry with shower room, separate wc. Pool towels provided.
Pool complex offers a heated swimming pool, with a selection of furniture. Bifold opening doors that open onto a beautiful decked verandah with views of the gardens. Yet very private!
Bedroom 3 i(sleeps 2) with double bed, wardrobes chest of drawers. Sliding patio doors to balcony.
Shower room.

Upper Floor
Bright open living area with sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs for six. Kitchenette complete with electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave. All the essentials to cook up a meal and childrens cutlery and pool size plastic ware. Bedrooms 1 & 2 both double rooms are on this floor with wardrobes, and drawers. Shower room and WC.
The kitchen area is open plan, with an under counter fridge with freezer box, electric oven and four ring electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. All the essentials for self-catering stay.

Large landscaped garden with gravel walkway around the grounds, a playing field with goals, and a paved patio area with garden furniture and swing seat
Parking on site for three to four cars off road on a private drive.

Some steps to entry, living area on the upper floor. 
Games room on the lower floor
Grounds people and support staff may be onsite to maintain the property and safety of the pool. 
There is CCTV in the grounds of the property for guest and owner security. 
The owner's home is adjacent to the property and is used occasionally  - the extensive grounds are therefore usually exclusive to guests during their stay. 
Please note check in is 4.00pm and check out is 10.00am.

Indoor heated swimming pool (5m x 9m)
Pool area is locked and should remain locked when not in use. Children must not be left unattended. The depth of the pool is 5 feet at both ends and is accessible via steps, and is heated to 28 degrees.
Safety: please ensure children are supervised at all times around the pool and the pool complex is locked when not in use.

Great stay

We stayed here with the kids and the indoor pool was the clear highlight of the trip. It was warm, clean, and well managed, which made it genuinely easy to relax while the children burned off energy. The pool area never felt chaotic, even when busy, and safety was clearly taken seriously. Outside the pool, everything was practical rather than flashy, which actually worked well for a family stay. The kids were happy, tired at the end of each day, and asking to go back, which is usually the best test. Overall, it delivered exactly what we needed for a stress-free family break without any unpleasant surprises.

Wonderful stay at honeywood lodge

The lodge was wonderful, and extremely comfortable. Comfy mattresses and sofas, made for a very relaxed stay. Property had enough utensils and was well equipped. The pool was amazing, and really warm. Alot of indoor pools we have used are never as warm! Shower didnt seem to get hot in pool area but no bog deal. Beautiful setting in woodland, and was very private and peaceful. Is a little rough around the edges if you study but this was so minor and had no impact on our stay. We had an amazing time and would return again. My only negative would be to the bin, there was no lid for it which was a bit annoying as food smells lingered a little!

Outstanding property

Absolutely beautiful property! Spacious grounds, thoughtfully equipped, very well maintained. The pool area was wonderful and warm, and seems to have been recently refurbished. The local pub appears to have closed but it was only a short drive to nearby towns.We enjoyed a very peaceful stay here, thanks a lot.

Great holiday home in a fantastic location.

Prior communication was comprehensive and helpful. Location was excellent with easy drives to Canterbury and surrounding area. Loved the pool.

Children loved the pool!- very warm and they spent hours playing! Beautiful, well-kept grounds, two fridges (up and down stairs) , football table and air hockey was fun! Beds were comfy with plenty of towels and bedding. Few niggles- WiFi was poor and there was no service in area for own 4G (Tv did keep losing signal too) . Also the living room windows were broken on arrival.

A memorable getaway with my family

Honeywood Lodge is a pleasant hideaway with ame parking and walk paths. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and within reach of Canterbury High Street. The heated swimming pool was a must have bonus. Had a lovely time with my family. Will definitely do it again.

Pool is amazing

We absolutely loved our stay, didnt see the owners during our stay which we liked the privacy. Having the oil to ourselves was amazing.

Wow! Amazing space & grounds

Fabulous pool - with the Bi-folds open, sun out - could have been in The Med! So easy having the pool connected to the lodge. Huge grounds to explore and play football/games. Superb quiet location - great WiFi too.

Lovely stay at Honeywood Lodge

We had a lovely stay at Honeywood Lodge. It is close to London and ideal for small families with kids as the accommodation is not too big but with the huge benefit of a private indoor pool. The property was clean, well appointed and easy to access. There were one or two hitches like the microwave not working and the mattresses could be more comfy but overall a brilliant stay.

Wonderful start to Summer Holidays

Exactly as described. The pool was perfect and the kids loved it. Even had a picnic in the grounds while they played football. Cannot wait to come back.

Lovely peaceful break

Honeywood lodge was well equipped for everything you could need. Pool was a little on the cold side but didn’t stop the kids from spending most of their time in there.

Peace and Space but heating controls difficult to master. Bloom’s provided excellent support.

Wandering around the private grounds, playing football and swimming whenever we liked were standouts. Location ideal for visiting Kent’s attractions. Bloom’s help outside hours was perfect, thank you.

Fun family getaway

Property is lovely with the huge added benefit of a private heated pool which we could use whenever we wanted. This was a huge hit for our children in addition to the games room. The living area was adequate with the required necessities. The location of the property is incredibly peaceful but supermarkets and Canterbury are within easy reach by car.

First Class pool

First class pool made our holiday. Clean and well maintained and kept at a nice temperature for lounging around. Bi-fold doors dificult to open and close, probably suffering at the hands of inexperienced people! House equipped with quality furniture and fittings. It does get hot upstairs during a heat wave, but just about tolerable with correct use of curtains and windows. Several niggles with lack of maintenance, but nothing too serious to prevent our enjoyment. Would love to come again.

Hineywood lodge

Brilliant pool, whole family really loved it. Property functional, but very hot especially at night. Fans supplied, but not easiest to use. Cleanliness inside quite good, but outside balconies needed sweeping badly and clearly not done recently, which would have expected before our arrival.. No phone reception in Property but was aware of this before arrival, was great could use WhatsApp to contact bloom stays as we had issue with washing machine, and they dealt with it very quickly, great service, even though I am still awaiting my deposit refund. We would definitely recommend this property and bloom stays. Thank you.

A cosy and luxurious stay with sole access to the pool!

The property is rurally located off a lane, yet close to Canterbury for quick access to sites and amenities. Coming from London, we appreciated being able to see the stars. The owner's property is next door, but we didn't see anyone for the weekend we stayed, so we felt we had the place to ourselves! It was a real treat to access the pool directly from the property without having to go outside and use it whenever we wanted. The pool temp was better than expected given energy costs these days! Facilities like the pool, showers, WCs, bathrooms, were all modern, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Essentials were provided, like tea, coffee, milk, sugar, detergent. The sofas were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to be cosy. The furniture generally seemed to be more of a premium quality. There are also well-maintained grounds with a football goal that would have been great in warmer weather. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.

Lovely getaway

Our family enjoyed our visit to Honeywood Lodge, and look forward to returning soon. Our son loves swimming, so we made good use of the pool daily. The grounds are lovely, secluded and quiet (excited to hear an owl on our last night!). As we have young children, the absence of a washer was not ideal for a week’s stay, but we made it work. Wonderful weekend break

We had a wonderful stay at Honeywood Lodge with our young family. Everything was accommodated for and my children loved the use of the fantastic private indoor pool. We were incredibly lucky with the weather which allowed us to enjoy the large garden to its full extent. A great property that we have already recommended and cannot wait to book our next stay!

Fantastic holiday property - facilities are amazing

I would strongly recommend this property for families looking for a holiday house that will keep them entertained. The pool was fabulous - warmer than we'd expected and big enough for laps or playing. If our visit had been in summer the bi-fold and balcony would have been lovely. The games space was much used and the grounds are fantastic. Check in was easy. The house was clean, although the cleaning products had been left out on the living space floor which i think was an oversight. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating and i could see useful extras like baby-baths and highchairs had our children been younger. The location requires a car but as long as you have one is a lovely setting. Canterbury is a short drive away along with a choice of coastal towns. Kent has a host of historic sites to visit which all kept us well occupied. We would be very happy to come back here again - a wonderful holiday had by all!
