Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This luxurious detached cottage is set in the heart of the village of Parkgate Neston, on the Wirral Peninsula. If you’re wanting to explore the area a great day is to be had at RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands with great walks and plenty of bird life to be seen. Neston has an abundance of shops, coffee shops and restaurants.

For those looking for a city break this property is 12 miles from the city of Chester with its many shops, bars and restaurants not to mention Chester Zoo. Spring Cottage is also just over 11 miles to the city of Liverpool with its Royal Albert Dock and the legendary Cavern Club. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This was our second stay at Spring Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

This was our second stay at Spring Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. There are lots of lovely thoughtful touches - helpful information on the area and things to do / places to eat, bowls wipes rugs for dogs and a very generous welcome pack. Parkgate is a scenic village on the Wirral way so lots of great walks. The cottage is very central and easy to find. We hope to return for a third visit soon!

Having decided to look at accommodation on the Wirral Deeside, we struck lucky to find availability at Parkgate and Spring Cottage. Looking at past reviews we were hoping the place lived up to expectations. We were not disappointed as the property was lovely. Nice, bright and airy and well equipped. We did not want for anything. We saw first hand that the often mentioned welcome pack was indeed plentiful. We used the place as a base as we were out early morning returning early evening. A nice choice of pubs, lounges and bars all serving food, and the famed fish and chip shop and Spice restaurant to hand.Summing up, the location is ideal for access to Liverpool and Chester as well as The Wirral itself.
