Rustic house, has been recently renovated, but have been maintained the initial stone construction. It's a typical house of Madeira Island.

With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and a very complete barbecue outside.

The pool it's private.

With a very beautiful garden with heated pool, a wonderful view to the sea and the mountains of Calheta. It is a very quiet area surrounded by nature.

Nice bedrooms, views and garden/pool area. Lounge very dark. However the property was extremely CREAKY and every movement upstairs, including just turning over in bed, can be heard downstairs which might cause certain family members to want to KILL other family members!! Some CREATURES living in roof and walls seem to run around at night and FREAK out the children!! Beautiful sunsets.

Cute little house

The house is beautifully located and the views from the terrace are stunning. It is a small but very lovely stone house with all the necessary comfort and with a lot of charme. The very steep road to get there and the narrow entrance to the parking space required some getting used to, but after a few days this was not worth a thought anymore (but we were happy to have a mini SUV...). We were very pleased and would come back again anytime.

Beautiful place to relax

The house is cozy and rustic. Everything is clean and functional. Everything is there what your heart desires. We felt very comfortable. But you need to know that the road to the house is very steep. Nothing for inexperienced drivers

We had a mixed experience with this holiday house.Positive: pool is nice, the view is lovely, kitchen is well equipped, dining room and living room are spacious.Neutral: the road to the house is very steep, narrow roads with blind corners... nothing for inexperienced drivers. The house is very much set in a rural environment, so don't be surprised about sharing the home with spiders, cockroaches and lizards.Negative: the home has 3 bedrooms (2 on the upper floor and 1 on the ground floor). The floorboards are very thin and every step above can be heard below. Unable to use the ground floor bedroom due to mold. The room had an earthy, musky smell when we arrived and even when sleeping with a fully open window we both (adults) woke up with irritated eyes, runny noses and sore throats. After two days we moved onto the couch in the living room and did not have the problem anymore. We informed the management company however they first denied there being any problem at all and subsequently informed us that there were anyway sufficient bedrooms for our party of 4 and so were not forthcoming with any kind of compromise. We subsequently left after 5/11 days of our stay there - as we did not want to be sick or continue sleeping on the couch / living room.The house is lovely in general, however I would avoid staying there until the issue with the mold (dry rot) has been resolved. I will also avoid any property managed by Wehost (Madeira). FeWo-direkt was very helpful.
