Great quiet location

We loved our stay at this house! Great Space, bathroom in every bedroom, and a great pool. Beach across the street, and lots to do in ponce inlet, walking distance. Very clean, had everything we needed for the beach. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We will be back!

Beautiful and clean

Our group really enjoyed this home on our stay. The home is clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing to have. The location was perfect - close enough to down town but not in a busy area, and right across the road from the beach! I would recommend staying at this home to anyone, and hopefully we will be back!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm delighted to hear that you and your family had a great time at this property! For the pool, not only is not listed as being heated but we also include a specific section in the listing description explicitly stating that it is not heated. Thank you for not letting this impact your rating but we do like to point guests to the information they receive prior as we want everyone to have accurate expectations.

Exactly as pictured

This is a beautiful house. We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for everyone and the house is really close to the beach. Walk down one house cross the street and your at the beach. The backyard is large and beautiful we had a fire and made s’mores while we were there. The kids really enjoyed having a private pool. Everything was perfect.

Loved the place, but.

We loved the place, but the spacing of the spindles on the railings of the 2nd floor balcony and the outside balcony above the pool are over 5 inches and not to code. Young kids can get between the rails and outside the railing. This is a fall hazard for young children. The place is GREAT for adults and older children!

See below.

Nice layout. Pool was dirty until it was cleaned on Thursday. It was sandy and we never went to beach. My sister's bathroom had hair on shower wall. Furnishings very dated. Grass growing between pavers around pool. Was expecting home to be a bit nicer for the price.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm delighted to hear that you and your family had a great time at in this home! The pool is cleaned on a weekly basis every Thursday or Friday but of course it is possible that elements come in the pool inbetween. We do leave a slimmer at the home if guests would like to use it. I appreciate your input about the furniture. We do agree most of the furniture is not very new but this is accurately shown in the home photos and all of the furniture is fully functioning and well-maintained.

Enjoyed our stay

Any issues we had were promptly addressed. We were disappointed to find that there were only 3 bedrooms instead of the 4 advertised. I don’t consider putting a bed in the rec room a bedroom. We had planned to use that space for our grandchildren and it worked great for that. It did not work as a bedroom for our adult children since everyone had to go through that space to access the pool. We had to use the study for them and it has a clear door on it and only a blow-up mattress for a bed. They had to use the master bath for their bathroom. We made it work but I was expecting 4 separate bedrooms for the price we paid.

Wonderful Large Family Option

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beautiful, spacious home was only a brief walk across the street from the beach. This was one of the best pools I have ever seen, with differing depths and a separate spa/seating area! My kids (from 2 to 20 years old) absolutely loved it!The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were numerous enough for a large family. We also took advantage of the double ovens and two refrigerators. I would definitely recommend this rental home to those with groups of 8-12 people. The location was very convenient and desirable. The management company was very responsive and helpful. My only concern was the balcony railings. They were not to code and really young children need to be monitored when near them.

Bedrooms

This house sleeps 11, but only has 3 actual bedrooms with baths. Pool level "apartment" has kitchen area and bath with a full size bed (not queen) that isn't very comfortable and doesn't have a door - but works out if you are aware of the arrangement. Also there's a sofa bed in the office behind the kitchen that doesn't have an adjoining bath (powder room is nearby) and the door is glass see-through.

Vacation

Very spacious. Great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby. They were still cleaning when we got to the property. We were only 30 min early and stated no one had been there in 2 weeks. So why not have cleaned the day before? Pool was dirty and had dead frogs in it. They said someone would be there to clean it. They did come the following day. First morning tried to make coffee, but the coffee pot was broken. Called the office only to get an answering machine. Towels and washcloths do not look like they have been replaced in years. Holes and see through spots in most of them. Worst part of the whole experience is the fact that the property is listed as 5.3 miles from the Daytona Speedway when actually is over 14 miles to the speedway. We came for a four day festival at the speedway hoping to uber back and forth since it was so close. Two nights we had to wait over 2 hours for an Uber to pick us up, making it 2am or later when we finally made it back to the property. Also costing us almost triple price each day. I was satisfied with the property but hoping they will update the mileage, cleanliness and linens.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm sorry to hear that our property did not meet your expectations. Small concerns can arise in any property during a stay and it sounds like we resolved these very quickly for you. As you mentioned the property was cleaned on time however, you just arrived early. We do accurately list the home's address with VRBO and it's VRBO's system who calculates the mileage from top places that you see on each listing. This is not something any of the property managers or home owners calculate themselves. This is not something we can edit or have any control over. If anyone asks us distance directly, we simply enter the address in Google Maps and give guests an honest answer based on the Google Map results.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm delighted to hear that you and your family had a great time at this property! We normally have two different appliance vendors we can call at any given time for same day service. However, they BOTH came down with COVID during your stay as cases peaked here and we were left calling other vendors in the city who were also very short-staffed because of the surge in cases. Normally, we are much faster and we are very sorry about that delay!

Unexpected outcome

It was very unexpected overly pleasant trip. The location was amazing for the family. Quiet. Not a ton of traffic. Easy access to the beach. Great layout for multi people to hangout. It was really easy for a handicap individual and also lovely to find a wheelchair at the house to help get to the beach. My only eh were the beds. Other than that we are already thinking about coming back to this exact place next year.

Fun property

We had a great time. A few things were not working (dishwasher had some issues, lights, etc.) but for the most part everything was great. The only thing I wish I had been able to tel better was about the stairs. We had little ones with us, and the stairs are a main part of the house, not separate in any way. Additionally some of the interior and exterior balcony railings were wide enough that the little one could have fallen through if they had gotten to them. Just a caution for anyone with little ones. Otherwise, great house, great location, really quiet and great beach access.

Certainly you are correct that when booking a rental property it's best to look at these items if you have any special circumstances. Hotels are very different from vacation rentals in this regard and it's important to find the right fit for your group's circumstances.
