NO DETAILS WERE MISSED IN THIS SWEET LITTLE COTTAGE

This little GITE was so well appointed and clean. There were little touches which made us feel welcome, including a corked bottle of apple cider and delicious cookies. Also, there was coffee and tea to make and spices if you wanted to prepare a small meal. All the hooks and shelves in all the right places. Everything we needed in such a nice small space. The gardens and views were incredible and Fabienne and her husband were so kind and you know they put a lot of thought into this sweet little GITE.

Idyllisches Türmchen mit Traumaussicht

Wir durften in dieser liebevoll bis ins Detail und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Unterkunft, mit großem Gartenanteil und Traumaussicht über Rouen, für zwei Nächte als Zwischenziel übernachten. Trotz der kleinen Größe ist an alles gedacht worden. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch unser Auto und unsere Ebikes waren sicher untergestellt.

Eine schöne Woche in Rouen

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche in Rouen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war problemlos. Wir haben das gemeinsame Frühstücken oder Abendessen im Garten mit wunderschönem Blick auf Rouen und Umgebung genossen. Mit unseren E-Bikes war die Altstadt von Rouen in weniger als 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Rückfahrt war so auch kein Problem.

tolles Häuschen in toller Stadt

Das liebevoll ausgestattete Häuschen (eher Türmchen) mit Überblick über Rouen bietet alles was man für ein paar erholsame Tage braucht.

Cosy, agréable et calme

Le gîte est très bien situé, nous pouvions nous rendre au centre historique de Rouen à pied (20min). Nous avons apprécié le jardin et la vue panoramique sur la ville. Hôte très accueillant.

Lovely small gite

Owners very welcoming and helpful. We had a fabulous time in a beautiful property. Not really suitable if unsteady on feet, stairs to bedroom extremely steep and hazardous if you’re carrying anything. Long walk into town but great if you are fit and well and enjoy walking, as we do. It is a beautiful house where the owners have thought of everything to make our stay pleasant- even a welcoming chocolate cake! Overall, brilliant

Wunderbare kleine Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung

Liebevoll restauriertes historisches Gebäude. Haus und Grundstück sind perfekt um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Da auf dem Grundstück und rund herum alles leicht bergauf / bergab geht, sollte man gut zu Fuß sein. Fabienne ist eine herzliche und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Amazing views, perfect place to stay, fantastic hosts!

Fabienne’s little house is a real gem! The views over Rouen are fantastic and we were sad that we only had one night to enjoy it. The accommodation is small but perfectly planned and has every convenience, as well as being stylish and modern. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into creating it. We decided to stay in and cook a meal and everything we needed was available. We sat outside until late in the evening watching the sunset over Rouen and it was perfect! Our only concern would be for less able travellers as there are a lot of steps and climbing as the house is high on a hillside. But if you are fit and able, it’s well worth the effort! Overall, a fantastic stay and to be highly recommended.

Belle Vue

Der Name der Straße ist wahr. Das kleine Appartment bietet einen wunderbaren Blick über Rouen. Es liegt in einem schönen Garten und hat alles was man braucht. Fabienne und ihr sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Joli lieu, ressourçant et très agréable

Zwar winzig, aber sehr idyllisch

Wir waren Ende September ins wunderschönen (wenngleich an Baustellen recht reichen) Rouen und haben uns bei Familie Poubelle sehr wohl fühlen dürfen. Unser kleiner Dackel war auch willkommen. Die Strecke in die Stadt ist fußläufig gut zu bewältigen und ein Parkplatz liegt direkt vor der Tür. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn es klein ist, denn es ist alles zweckmäßig. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und wir hatten ganz und gar unsere Ruhe. Wir würden wiederkommen. Herzliche Grüße von Christiane und Roger Lampert

Nous avons été très bien accueilli avec de bonnes attentions, merci encore Fabienne. Le gîte est très bien situé, nous pouvions nous rendre à Rouen à pied. Tout était très propre mais il manquait un peu de rangement pour les valises et les articles de toilette. Nous avons trouvé que le matelas était un peu usé. Une belle expérience que d'avoir séjourné dans une petite demeure d'epoque qui jadis servait pour le jardinier. Belle décoration et magnifique vue. merci Christiane

Merci pour cette appréciation et l'idée effectivement d'ajouter un porte valise. je m'excuse de ne pas vous avoir proposé de ranger vos valises dans la mezzanine. Quant au matelas, je suis désolée que ce matelas Epéda plutôt haut de gamme, acheté il y a 3 ans et demi, ne vous ai pas convenu. Bonne continuation Fabienne.

Property with a view

Property was very nice and had a lovely view over Rouen. Owner was very helpful in giving us information on where to find an open shop on a sunday afternoon/evening. Our dogs enjoyed meeting the owners poodle. We stayed here as a stopover from our journey to the South of France. I'm sure it would be a good place to stay to visit more of Rouen.
