Great Vacation on Sardinia
We stayed in June 2016 for 9 nights in this house. We really enjoyed staying there. It had everything we needed and looked well tended and quite new.
The house consists of two entities. We stayed in the right one suitable for 4 persons. It has two bedrooms, each with own bathroom including toilet and shower. There is one additional bathroom with washing machine. The main entrace leads directly into the kitchen/livingroom.
There is a roofed veranda in the front and back with chairs and a table. The two bedrooms and living room have air conditioning. The kitchen has everthing in that is needed: Oven, dishwasher, microwave, plenty of dishes, pots and so on. Also salt, pepper, oil and so forth were available. Towls and bedcloths were provided as well. Soap, detergent and cleaning cloth were also available. There was a laundry rack for the wet cloths.
A dirtroad leads to the house. It is a very quiete area - approx. 5 minutes car drive from S'arena Scoada. S'Arena Scoada has a small beach, but we went to Putzu Idu most of the time since the beach is bigger, the water more shallow with some beach bars to get something to eat and drink. It has white sand and cristal clear water.
During the whole stay Gianfilippo and his family were always available. They provided us with valuable information on beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. They also made sure someone was available upon our arrival and we could stay until the afternoon of our last day in the house. This was very nice since the ferry started rather late in the evening from Olbia.
So in total it was an excellent holiday - with no shortcomings. We can recommend it to everyone.
