Chalet for 4 people at IJmuiden aan Zee, in between Zandvoort, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar.

The campingsite our chalet is situated on, is located in the dune edge within walking distance of the 'IJmuiden aan Zee' beach and has been kept as car-free as possible.
Children can also enjoy playing on the grass or in the playground on site.
During the school holidays various activities are organized by a recreation team for large and small in the 'Praathuis' or outside.

On the days when the weather is not suitable for being outside, you can visit historical sites such as Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam close to 'Camping De Duindoorn'.
Cities that offer sufficient culture and entertainment to even the most demanding holidaymaker.

The park also received the golden key from the 'The Green Key'.
This is an international environmental award.

Skiing in the summer? That is possible at Snowplanet in Spaarnwoude.

Good for a few days trip

The bungalow was like described in the internet. It has enough space for a few days for four people. It is a little sad that we have to buy every spices for cooking and there are no pan lids. The Little garden is very nice to have a rest.

Der Aufenthalt war ok. Das Chalet war in Ordnung, innen war es sauber, allerdings könnte der Außenbereich etwas gepflegter sein. Die Lage des Chalets ist nicht so günstig, da direkt daneben die Straße entlangführt. Die Wegbeschreibung zum Strand klingt im Angebot so, als ob man gemütlich durch die Dünen schlendern kann, dabei geht es 20 Minuten an der Straße entlang. Für unseren nächsten Hollandurlaub werden wir uns eine andere Unterkunft suchen.

Bungalow et non chalet de luxe.

J ai passé un bon séjour dans le chalet. Le titre de l annonce est cependant trompeur. S il s agissait vraiment d un chalet de luxe j aurai noté 1 étoile. La location est simplement un bugalow de camping et j ai mis la note comme tel. Nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire et la présence d un sejour avec canapé etait agréable. L extérieur n était cependant pas entretenu comme sur les photos. Nous avons connus quelques petits désagréments mais "Mr Dann" était toujours à l écoute et présent pour intervenir rapidement. Merci beaucoup à lui ! Nous avons également regretté le placement du gîte qui nous donne une vue directe sur l usine ainsi que le manque de volet occultants dans les chambres. Le prix est élevé etant donné la saison et les prestations.

Klein aber ohoh

Sehr schönes kleines Charlet, liebevoll eingerichtet. Lounge mit Kissen für die Terasse vorhanden. Grill vor Ort. Hier und da paar Kleinigkeiten zu machen. Alles im allem trotzdem sehr gut. Leider wie schon öfter bemerkt, ab und an sehr unangenehmer Geruch. Mit etwas lüften kann man damit leben. Uns hat es jetzt nicht all zu stark gestört, da kann der Vermieter auch nichts dafür. Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage ...

Nicht empfehlenswert!

Leider nicht dem Inserat entsprechend. Keine Rückmeldung vom Vermieter. Nicht wirklich sauber, dreckige Rollo's. Übler Gestank und beginnender Schimmelbefall im Bad. Alles sehr beengt. Luxuriös ist definitiv die falsche Beschreibung. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Insgesamt ein süsses kleines Häuschen und sehr angagierte freundliche Vermieter. Probleme hatten wir nur mit den Matratzen. Die Gegend gibt nicht viel her, aber der fußläufig erreichbare Strand entschädigt.

Great Base for Cycling

My friend and I rented this place as a base for cycling. Yes it’s in the dunes but it’s a bit further from the sea than you would expect (almost a mile). It’s in a gated camping area that has a nice store and restaurant with odd hours. Getting to and from from the airport was a little tricky but there is a bus stop right in front of the camp entrance. The same bus alternates - Be sure you take the one that terminates “an zee”. Overall a great place to stay. Getting to Amsterdam & Haarlem is super easy. Our hosts were very nice.

Schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub in dem Chalet. Das Haus war sauber und was die Einrichtungsgegenstände angeht war alles vorhanden. Die Kaffemaschine hatten wir leider erst zu spät entdeckt, die war hinter dem Mülleimer versteckt :-) Einziger Abzugspunkt: Es roch unangenehm auf der Toilette. Ansonsten aber ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Schöner Urlaub in einem schnuckeligen Chalet

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in diesem schnuckeligen Chalet. Es ist auf einer Anhöhe gelegen und man hat einen schönen Ausblick in Richtung Campingplatz. Das Chalet macht einen ordentlichen Gesamteindruck und auch an den Einrichtungsgegenständen hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Deutsche TV Sender waren ausreichend vorhanden und Internet stand uns auch zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einige schöne Grillabende, mit dem vom Besitzer bereitgestellten Grill. Die Besitzer des Chalets waren sehr zuvorkommend und die Kommunikation funktionierte reibungslos. Leider können direkt an den Chalets keine Fahrzeuge abgestellt werden, somit sind diese nur mit einem schweren Rollwagen (Pfand 1 EUR) erreichbar. Unser Chalet Nr. 125 war zum Glück das Ersten auf der Anhöhe und wir mussten nicht noch weiter laufen. Leider roch es während unseres Aufenthaltes unangenehm auf der Toilette. Ansonsten können wir das Chalet nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und bis bald.

Sehr zufrieden

Sind sehr zufrieden, würden auch wieder kommen, sehr schönes Chalet, bei Fragen und Problemen hat man sofort einen Ansprechpartner und es wird schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Vom Chalet aus gibt es viele Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung wenn man sich nicht nur an den Strand legen will. Vielen Dank und sicher bis zum nächsten mal.

Für den Preis ist es echt in Ordnung

Das Chalet ist jetzt nichts besonderes, aber für eine Woche ganz angenehm. Es hat alles funktioniert und wurde auch auf deutsch beschrieben. Die Aussicht ist wirklich suboptimal viel Industrie, dennoch ein toller Strand in 800m Entfernung. Ich würde wieder einen Urlaub dort machen, wenn sie 2000m hohe Berge dort hätten, Flachland ist nicht meine Welt.

Chalet dans les dunes à Ijmuiden (camping de duidoorm)

Bonjour, Le séjour s'est bien passé mais le lieu de la location ne reflète pas les photos sur votre site. Le mobile home plus très frais, rouille dans le coin salle d'eau, miroirs et vitres pas reluisants, plus de gaz pour le poêle la dernière nuit alors tres froid en se levant. Rien pour allumer la plaque cuisson au gaz, nous avons dû laver la vaisselle avant utilisation. Wifi annoncé par le propriétaire : code inexistant donc pas de communication. Vues sur les usines avec les cheminées fumant 24h sur 24. Des blockhaus mais pas de dunes et encore moins la plage. Au bord de la route et l'aviation civile donc pas franchement calme le camping De Duindoorn et le lieu est clos avec des fils barbelés... effet camp de prisonniers. Pas fait pour y rester longtemps. Heureusement que nous avions notre voiture pour découvrir des paysages et villages magnifiques. Avantage : un arrêt de bus à l'entrée du camping, pratique pour se rendre à Amsterdam et rapidement. En attendant un prochain voyage... Cordialement.

Super Freundlicher Umgang, dazu eine klasse Gegend zum spazieren gehen und endspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Stadt Harlem. Wir kommen sicher nocheinmal wieder.

Schöne Zeit

Unsere Zeit im Chalet haben wir sehr genossen! Es bietet alles was man für seinen Urlaub benötigt. Die Gastgeber Hui & Mikael sind sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit! Für uns definitiv wieder eine Reise Wert!!
