Luxurious and modernly equipped country villa set in 2,500 meters of private grounds, sleeps 18-22 guests, 18 x 6m pool and far reaching uninterrupted views.
The villa has been extensively modernised in recent years and offers extremely private and impressive accommodation blending perfectly the comforts of modern luxurious living with that of the surrounding natural environment. It is indeed a truly idyllic holiday villa!
The fixtures and fittings are of high quality with French Oak and Pizarro tile flooring, stunning bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary labour saving appliances and japanese teppanyaki table. It is air conditioned/heated throughout and has been very tastefully decorated.
The villa is located within the tranquil hillside surroundings of Sitges, Barcelona and offers spectacular far reaching views over the countryside. It has extensive accommodation both internally and externally and is perfect for relaxation and entertainment, for adults and children.
The sleeping accommodation is flexible and can cater for up to 22 guests. Each of the seven to nine bedrooms is very large, with high ceilings, plenty of natural light with some bedrooms leading out onto terraces. All have ample storage and wardrobe space.
The main house comprises of two en-suite bedrooms plus three other bedrooms that can be made up as double/twin bedded rooms or as triples.
The annexed apartment also offers variable accommodation. In addition to having its own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with large walk in shower, television and private terrace, it can be made up as a two bedroom apartment or a one bedroom apartment with living area.
Another annexed guest house with 2 bedrooms is under construction to accomodate 4 more guests in 2016.
The gardens are full of palm trees, olive and lemon trees and provide a great playground for children...they can hide in the tree house, jump up and down on the trampoline, play football, hide and seek or just splash around in the 16 x 8 meter pool. Meanwhile, the adults can have their fun in the chill out zone... an 80 m2 covered outdoor lounge, with comfy seating, a full kitchen, bar and eating area...perfect to relax after a long day or even after a short day!

The annexed apartment also offers variable accommodation. In addition to having its own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with large walk in shower, television and private terrace, it can be made up as a two double bedroom apartment or a one bedroom apartment with living area.
The guest house is now under construction and will be ready in 2016 with 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Each bathroom has floor and wall tiles and the fittings are of very high quality.
The walk in showers are spacious and have variable settings for water control.
Please note that the villa has a non smoking policy for inside of the property, but smoking is permitted in outside areas.

About: Alex and Charles are a Dutch couple who moved to Olivella in 1986. Charles is a local businessman and Alex is the owner of one of Sitges' most respected estate agencies. Since moving to the property we have extended and modified the house to create a family home that blends perfectly the comforts of modern luxurious living with that of the surrounding natural environment. It is indeed a truly idyllic villa!
Why Olivella, Barcelona, Spain:
The plot is 2,500 sq meters and there are no immediate neighbours as we also own the adjoining plot. The house offers far reaching and unrestricted views over the hills towards the sea and the sunrises and sunsets are quite spectacular. We bought the house because of the space and tranquility it offers, yet it is only a 15 minute drive into Sitges or any of the other surrounding towns. So we have the best of both worlds...the country life and the urban life!

As the climate in northern Spain is so delightful all year round, we created a home that affords us as much comfort and enjoyment both indoors and out. We like to entertain with friends and family and the gardens provide a great playground for the children...they can hide in the tree house, jump up and down on the trampoline, play football, hide and seek or just splash around in the pool. Meanwhile, we can enjoy adult fun in our chill out zone...we built a covered outdoor lounge, with comfy seating, a full kitchen, bar and eating area...perfect to relax after a long day or even after a short day!
