This room is located adjacent to the car park on the ground floor with outside seating. The room is a spacious and has a super king bed but can be a twin room if required. The en suite has a walk in shower.

The Kings Head Inn a cream painted 17th century coaching inn situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Rye, one of the most visited places in the whole of the south of England. Owned and run by the Tindall family, Steve, Lisa, James and Lucy and the team extend a warm and personal welcome. This atmospheric inn retains character and charm whilst blending the old with the new after extensive refurbishment, completed end Feb 2014.
Open fireplaces, comfortable accommodation, and a very warm welcome. Dogs allowed in the Bar and Patio area.

Complimentary car parking onsite, patio garden to the rear of the pub, special requirements catered for. Children welcome. All rooms non-smoking. 10 minute walk to Rye town centre, stooped in history and extremely beautiful historic town

The surrounding area is blessed with a wealth of local suppliers enabling our chefs to take advantage of the wonderful local ingredients, including fresh fish from Rye Bay. The menu is seasonally inspired, good, honest wholesome pub food with changing specials to tantalise your taste buds! The kitchen is happy to cater for all kinds of dietary requirements and given enough notice, will design dishes to suit all guests’ needs.

Relax in one of the nine newly refurbished bedrooms, each uniquely designed. 7 of our rooms can be twins if required, family rooms available too. All individually furnished to the highest standards All are en-suite with flat screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water and biscuits, we are happy to organise any extras to be in your room on arrival, e.g. champagne, chocolates, please contact us directly and we will provide your exact requirements and organise payment to suit . Hairdryers, Wi-Fi, Flat screen TV, shower gel and shampoo is also provided. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request, please ask and we will bring them to your room for you. If you require anything else to make your stay more comfortable please just ask.

Welcoming, nothing too much trouble, efficient service and excellent food.

Good location for access to the area. Comfortable beds in a spacious cottage accommodation with easy access to a free large car park and quiet surrounds. A variety of inside and outside seating. Good choice of delicious food on the breakfast and dinner menus with specials board which is changed weekly. The menu provides great flexibility and includes a kids' menu. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the dining areas and in some rooms. Table service is excellent; professional and friendly.

We had a lovely relaxing 4 day stay in one of the fog friendly cottages.

Excellent accommodation, food & location just a 2 min drive or 10 min walk into Rye. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, efficient & cater to your every need. Steve & Amanda are just the nicest people & run a very relaxing & comfortable establishment. Breakfast is plentiful & delicious. We ate in the restaurant in the evenings & the food was fresh & very tasty. Our cottage was large, very clean &comfortable. We are so glad we decided on the Kings Head & wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Pleasant surprise

stayed for just a few days whilst on a business trip, normally stay in big brand hotels but they are non-existent in this area. pleasantly surprise by the quality of the rooms and the location, food has just got to be tried, was expecting to have to venture out to nearby restaurants, but never left the bar. can honestly say I have not had a menu for so long that I truly found it difficult to choose from the list of some of my favourites. already have my next stay booked to try the rest.

Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff

We stayed only one night but had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and all were good quality. Catered for various diets including GF and vegetarian with lactose intolerance. Both rooms were very comfortable and one was very spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
