Just as advertised - a lovely apartment in a great location. Very clean, very comfortable, would definitely stay here again!

Dirty unrealistic, unhelpful and truly awful

Place was dirty, owner didn’t even send me details on HOW to get the ONE key. If the cleaning lady had not of been there, all four of us would have been locked out. The elevator smelt of mould, the entrance was dark, dirty and musty. The only nice thing was the tall windows. I’d never stay here again. These people are shameful, leading up to the stay date I got emails and was lured into a sense of ease. Once the day came. Nada. Even a call explaining my predicament was not returned. These people are thrives. Do not book

Inaccurate listing

The location is great, just about nothing else is. The listing still shows 3 toilets. There is only one. There are 2 showers, 2 sinks and ONE TOILET. This fact appeared to surprise the property managers as well, not enough to correct the listing, but we did receive a partial refund. They pretty much force you to buy additional insurance to protect the antiques on the property. These furnishings are shabby without the chic. And no items of any value that I could detect. You are forced to pay a ONE THOUSAND EURO DEPOSIT against noise. You cannot speak loudly in the apartment. These restrictions do not apply to the other apartments. If THEY determine that you violated the policy, they keep that money and kick you out. We were subjected to loud parties until after one . All noise is contained in the center air shaft. There is no escaping it. The hot water setting is set to a scalding level, do not leave children to shower without supervision, it may result in an avoidable injury. Again, location is great, this property is not.

Between the Louvre Museum and Champs Elysées, the apartment is at the crossroad of two of the most beautiful streets of Paris. The district is the vibrant center of the great Parisian fashion houses : Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Hermes... The flagship stores of these brands are a few steps away.

In 1862, the pastry brand Laduree opened its first store across the street. What was then a small bakery developed into the world’s most recognized pastry shop for its Macarons. This shop located 16 rue Royale is still open today and you can go there to enjoy their delicious breakfast menus and Macarons.

The neighborhood is very safe with the French Presidential Palace and the American Embassy 200m away from the apartment.
