This cottage rests in Akeld, near Wooler, Northumberland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

The Columbine is a traditionally-styled single-storey cottage resting in Akled, near Wooler, Northumberland. Hosting three bedrooms including a double with en-suite bathroom, a twin, a single and another single bed in the sitting room, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to six guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside there is off-road parking, a patio with furniture and access to a shared courtyard. The Columbine is an ideal base for making memories with the whole family. Note: This property does not accept Sunday check ins. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. The Cheviot Goat pub is located on site and is available to guests subject to seasonal opening hours. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026.
Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival.
From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at £42 per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children under the age of 14 are not charged for pool use
The swimming pool is unsupervised and used at guests’ own risk
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and lone swimming is not permitted for anyone under 18
Full pool rules and access details will be provided after booking.

Guests can access (through reception) 3 x games rooms which include: Table Tennis, Table Football, 2 x Pool Tables and a Full-Sized Snooker Table - code for access can be found within the information pack in your property. Shop 2.6 miles, pub 2.3 miles. Note: Although there are no steps into the property, there are two steps from the hallway to the kitchen. Note: Minimum 2 night stay's.
