Guelfa Apartment

The apartment is at the first floor of a graceful building by a quiet road of Florence historical center.
The entrance door opens up in between of the night-time area and the daytime area. One side features living room, kitchen and toilet, while on the other side are the two bedrooms. The kitchen has a nice terrace furnished with chairs and table to enjoy the outside for dinner or just relaxing. The apartment has been totally remodeled in the last few years which gives it a feeling of a brand new space.
The access to the apartment is through stairs - being a first floor though they make for an easy and comfortable access.
The apartment has Air Conditioning in every room. Also high speed Wi-Fi internet works throughout all the spaces. In the living room there is a Smart Tv - with Netflix included. The kitchen is completely equipped with all appliances like: oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (pods included), kettle and toaster.

Perfect size and location

We loved the living space with the large sectional couch, well stocked kitchen and outside access. Bedrooms were spacious and had lots of space for clothes.

Excellent Apartment Florence

Our visit was absolute amazing. We were meet by one of the host and he was excellent in showing us the apartment with explaining details and answered any questions, excellent communication. The apartment was perfect in cleanliness, location and aesthetic design. I can only say wonderful compliments. I would highly recommend this apartment to others. I hope to return in the future with other friends and family.

BEWARE: our first night the Air Conditioning system did not work on a day where temperatures reached 36 C (97 F). The owner said he was not aware the system was not functioning. We couldn’t open the windows because of the loud noise from the street and bugs. Miserable night dripping sweat and very little sleep. The owner came out the next day late in the mid afternoon and found there was no refrigerant in the system. By 5 pm he found enough to partly charge it and get the two bedroom units functioning but not the living room (he told us not to run it). He came out again the next day and added more refrigerant but told us again not to run the living room unit. He said the system had a leak (he did not know where) but should last to the end of our stay at which point it would have to be refilled.Beware that the owner’s employees do not understand how this split ductless system works. If the fans on the three units in the house are running they believe the AC is working. The problem is the unit outside on the patio off the kitchen. It contains a compressor, cooling coils, and a fan. If these are not running for various reasons including lack of system pressure the inside units are not supplied with refrigerant and there is no cooling.I told the owner’s employee (maybe wife?) they had to fix this for the next guest and I would post on this website to make sure future guests were warned but her response was “I don’t care”.VRBO is also fully aware of these problems.
