A large inviting apartment situated on the first floor, it as views overlooking Percy Park green and the sea
it is just a two minute walk to the glorious beaches
You enter the apartment into the a hallway off this is a large imposing Living Room
and dining room, with many original feature and large windows overlooking the green and sea.
The Bathroom has been refurbished and has a separate shower and bath toilet and vanity unit
Continuing down the hallway leads to two good size double bedrooms

At the rear of the apartment is a large newly fitted kitchen with , a large fridge freezer dishwasher washing machine , and a dining area

Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated. Views of the sea and the green. Easy walk to the sea, Metro and buses. 5 minutes walk to shops and bars. Sasha was a great host, coming straight over to solve a problem, then staying to chat about the area. If we visit Tynemouth again, we hope to stay here.

Great location to explore Tynemouth and the surrounding areas. Nice apartment and the hosts were very welcoming. Great communication from them.

2 Week vacation

The property is situated in a fantastic location close the beach and the lovely Tynemouth. The property is beautiful, it is well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy out stay. The host was excellent, check in was extremely smooth and any queries we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. All in all a lovely holiday

Lovely apartment for me and my pooch

Everything was great in this apartment even down to thoughtful throws and a lovely welcome pack. I was worried about the staircase for my older dog but they were wide, shallow and carpeted so perfect in the end. Spacious and a touch of luxury. Fab for a few days break.

Wet!

We stayed in the flat for four nights. Lovely lounge. It is very tastefully decorated and well appointed. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, especially when we went to see Bruce Springsteen on the Wednesday in Sutherland so we didn’t see Tynemouth at its best. Good base to see the surrounding area by car or metro.

Grand Apartment mitten in Tynemouth

Wunderbare Apartment sehr bequem. Gut ausgestattet sehr räumlich. In der nähe von Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants. Strand nur 100m entfernt ideal für Spaziergange. Alles hat gepasst, sehr erholsam. Wunderbar.

Tynemouth a Little Gem in the Northeast of England

We come to this area annually and decided to rent a flat this time. 46B Percy Park did not disappoint. What a treat to wake up and have a view of the North Sea each morning! The flat is in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and Tynemouth village center which has numerous shops, restaurants and pubs. The flat is also walking distance to other nearby towns, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay which boasts more restaurants and shopping and beaches. We did not rent a car this time and used the public transportation. Plenty of bus stops just a stone's throw away from the flat. The metro in the village is in walking distance. It can take you right into Newcastle city center. From there you can catch a train to other areas of the UK (Scotland, Chester, London, etc) The flat itself was spotlessly clean upon arrival. All amenities, linens, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, appliances, etc. were all good quality. Communication with the owners was excellent! A couple of days of settling in required some back-and-forth messaging with Sasha and her response was always prompt and courteous. On the downside, the beds in the flat were not the most comfortable. With regard to the clothes dryer (listed on amenities) this is not a machine dryer but a clothes horse, however it adequately met our needs. Overall, a very good place to stay and we hope to return. Just a suggestion to the owners, it might be helpful to visitors who are not familiar with the area to have an informational book/binder on hand listing places to visit, local attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Only two minute walk to beach

Lovely view from the beautiful living room, and a two minute walk to the actual beach. The double beds are not fantastic, and the design takes unnecessary room from the small bedrooms and one bed mattress was a bit sunk. Always had very positive contact with the owners. We had a hard time finding our way in the dark at arrival (after midnight due to late flight) as thefirst lamp switch was faulty and it shortcuttes all electricity in the apartment (living room celing lamp). And there were no signs which door led to apartment B (so we accidentally entered the wrong apartment first were the lady had forgotten to lock her door) - a strange experience indeed. Havinf G said all of this, we loved staying here and would come back again!

Excellent location

Perfect for a getaway break. Beautiful large lounge and kitchen. Location makes this holiday property. Very dog friendly with a big green outside the front door and the beach at the bottom of the street (summer season the dog friendly beach about 15 mins easy walk along the prom). Tynemouth has a number of very good pubs and eateries, a good number are dog friendly. Good road and rail connections for Newcastle and coastal area further afield. Tynemouth market at weekends well worth a visit. Great communication and response from the owner / agents, very professional and helpful. Recommend this property.

Excellent location and beautiful lounge. Had a problem with the boiler which meant no hot water for a day but this was resolved. In addition there was no parking permit available which was inconvenient.

This is a lovely apartment. Communication with owner was very good. Never been to Tynemouth previously but great range of restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. Would love to return soon

Definitely recommend

Originally booked for four of us but due to unforeseen circumstances only two of us made the trip. This apartment is in a super location in Tynemouth. Lovely bars, restaurants and tea rooms within walking distance as well as the metro. The beautiful beach is a two minute walk away and the sea can be seen from the window seat in the fabulous lounge. Everything you could need is in the apartment and lovely treats left too, thank you. Unfortunately storm Arwen hit on the Friday night and Tynemouth took a battering. Many properties and businesses were damaged and had to close. We hope to return in the spring to hopefully better weather. Would definitely recommend this property.

Spacious flat containing everything we needed

Margaret and Sasha run this rental and they are super fast with responses. I have a fragrance allergy and saw in a photo a scent diffuser and asked if it could be removed for my stay. They accommodated my request without any hassle. Unfortunately for me, my eyes, nose, throat and lungs burn with man made fragrance whereas most people would enjoy the scent. Because it was embedded into the fabric all around the house, I still had a major issue but that is my problem. I think people may have hung their wet clothes over the furniture to dry because the couch, etc smelled of the laundry soap residue that was in the washer. Of course I wish every place was fragrance free. I use fragrance free laundry soap but the fragrance that remained in the washing machine from previous use permeated my clothes. The only reason I'm stating this is so that if others that suffer fragrance allergies read this, they will be alerted. This is in no way a negative remark towards the property owners. They were perfect from start to finish. This flat is absolutely gorgeous and spacious!! It had all the kitchenware we needed. Both my friend and I found the beds to be comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is very good. They left a selection of snacks in which my friend and I enjoyed a few, including a bottle of wine which we were so surprised to find! The property owners take every step to ensure guests enjoy their stay. I highly recommend this flat.

Lovely apartment in beautiful location

Tynemouth was gorgeous and the apartment had lots of character and space enough for a family of 4. Our only grumble was the beds which didn’t sing comfort like the gorgeous lounge area. Hence 4/5.

Large comfortable apartment, sea views and easy parking.

Great location for beaches, village centre and metro, in quiet area. Beautifully decorated and presented, comfortable and well equipped. Huge lounge diner with views over the green to sea. Easy street parking. Would love to stay again.

Short Break

A lovely clean bright modern apartment with all the amenities you could want, parking right outside the property, which is a 2 minute walk to the beaches. Would definitely stay here again.
