Self-contained stone and brick house, on 2 levels (accessed by external stone steps) providing self-contained privacy and offering luxurious accommodation. Stone-tiled throughout, with fly screens on every window & door and air con in bedrooms.
Bedrooms each have a 180 x 220cm bed with luxury comfort mattress and exquisite cotton bedlinens, Bluetooth speaker, 'Smart' TV's, Echo Dots and USB chargers for phones and tablets. Contemporary en-suite bathrooms inluding towels, bath robes and pool towels. Well equipped kitchen with blue/grey units, quartz worktops, integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezer,chrome oven, induction hob, glass table with 4 chairs.. Private outdoor deck, covered by large electronic sun shade, overlooking valley and Cherry orchards, providing dining for 6 people and gas BBQ, Guests can also use front of portico on main house, with comfortable sofas and chairs with full shading.

If you are looking to combine breath-taking views and tranquil living with contemporary comfort and style then Casa Cappella and Casa Ciliegia make the perfect choice. Located in the heart of unspoilt Le Marche, each of the stone houses is a treasure, having been lovingly restored with a close eye to detail and a very high quality finish. The houses sit either side of the swimming pool, each with its own private covered dining terrace and enjoy sweeping views of the valleys as they rise to the mountain range. During the summer months, you will be welcomed at the many traditional festas, which celebrate local wines and produce from fish to fungi. There are a wide choice of local restaurants, in the surrounding villages, with the nearest just a short, 500 metre, walk away. At the coast, which is a 25 minute drive, will find 'blue flag' beaches extending for many miles with a great many fresh fish / seafood restaurants & bars or drive for about 60 minutes and you are in the mountains with fresh water glacial lakes and golden eagles soaring overhead. If you want to escape the quiet life for a day Ascoli Piceno is close as are the fashionable shops and designer outlet at Citivitanova Marche.

SENSATIONAL STAY - SIMPLY STUNNING

We had the most wonderful time here, not only is it extremely comfortable, the views are gorgeous.The hosts Lona and Kay were simply incredible. They could not do enough for us and upon a late arrival we found a wonderful hamper of food and beverages (with beer and wine) in our kitchen, which we soon tucked in to. Their local knowledge was superb, which we relied on entirely, eating and visiting the most fabulous places including a Michelin starred restaurant in a local village.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the pool gorgeous, with sunbeds and parasols. We had a great little kitchen with everything you would need catered for.They recommended a local vineyard for wine tasting and both took us and collected us, naturally, a little the worse for wear on the return!!Just genuinely lovely people with a beautiful property that is most definitely worth a visit.Marche is worth a visit, as is this little gem of a place.Well done ladies ..... we all loved our time with you.

Wundervoller, erholsamer Aufenthalt in toller Umgebung

Lona und Kay sind sehr liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeberinnen, die jederzeit mit Hilfe und Rat zur Verfügung stehen. Der von Lona gebackene Cheesecake und das Tiramisu sind einfach spitze. Das Apartement ist wie beschrieben, groß und sauber - nur die Küche ist für 4 Erwachsene etwas klein. Die Terasse ist groß mit einem tollen Blick über die Gegend. Die Hunde und Katzen sind gut erzogen und besuchen einen täglich. Der Pool ist rießig und einfach wunderbar. Für erholsame Tage sehr empfehleswert. Vielen Dank Lona und Kay

Casa Ciliegia - ein kleines Paradies

Es war ein wunderschöner, erholsamer Italienurlaub in der Casa Ciliegia bei Sant'Elpidio Morico in den Marken! Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns dort sehr wohl und das ist der Verdienst von Lona und ihrer Tochter Kay! So ein gepflegtes Ambiente muss man erstmal finden!! Alles ist sehr sauber, von gehobener Qualität und mit viel Geschmack und Gespür für die Schönheiten dieser bestens renovierten alten Steinhäuser eingerichtet. Die Kücheneinrichtung lies keine Wünsche offen. Unglaublich schön sind auch die Außenanlagen. Lona hat mehr als nur einen grünen Daumen, denn überall blühte und duftete es. Und bei dem weiten Blick in die hügelige, sonnenbeschienene Landschaft ging einem das Herz auf. Auch der sehr gepflegte Pool war für mich eine Entdeckung, denn er roch nicht nach Chlor, das Wasser war dennoch sehr klar und das Baden daher das reinste Vergnügen. Das Wohlfühlen und die Erholung fing schon bei der Ankunft an. In der Küche erwartete uns ein großer Begrüßungskorb voller Leckereien, der alles enthielt, was man in den ersten Tagen an Verpflegung braucht, auch wurden wir auf der Veranda von Lona mit einem Glas Prosecco willkommen geheißen! In dieser entspannten und herzlichen Atmosphäre verliefen die ganzen zwei Wochen dort. Es lohnt sich, Lona oder Kay nach ihren Empfehlungen zu fragen. Beide sind sehr hilfsbereit und ortskundig. Es war das schönste Ferienhaus, was wir bisher in Italien hatten. Sehr zu empfehlen! Danke Lona, danke Kay!! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Gabi und Hanno

Perfect stay

The accommodation was just perfect. It was very clean and top equipped. The pool was absolutley wonderful. The hosts Lona and Kay were wonderful and managed to enhance the already beautiful stay even more. Overall perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Fantastisch verblijf in Monsampietro Morico

We waren al bij de eerste blik op het huis en de locatie diep onder de indruk: smaakvol ingericht, mooie materialen, alles goed onderhouden, de bloeiende bloemen in de tuin, de zoemende bijen, het uitzicht. Bijna te mooi om waar te zijn. En daarbij komt de warme gastvrijheid van Lona en haar dochter Kay. Dat bleek al uit de verrassende en gulle welkomsmand, maar ook daarna uit attenties, tips en aandacht zonder opdringerigheid. Het bracht ons onder meer bij leuke dorpjes, fijne restaurants, een gezellige wijnproeverij, een pottenbakkerij, een schitterende tennisbaan, sfeervol strandleven. Een betere plek van waaruit je dit mooie zuidelijke deel van de Marche kunt beleven kunnen wij ons niet voorstellen.

Idyllische Umgebung

Schöne Anlage, ruhig und beschaulich. Vom Pool aus wunderbare Weitsicht, vom Sitzplatz im unteren Bereich beim Cieliegi Haus leider durch Bäume verdeckt. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind nicht miteinander verbunden. Die Küche ist im oberen Bereich, das Essen muss um das Haus herum zum Sitzplatz gebracht werden. Wir konnten die Tage am Pool sehr geniessen.

Amazing Oasis in the heart of Le Marche

Lona is an amazing host, she shared a wealth of information and must do’s and one feels right at home , the vacation home was extremely well thought out to the last details and I have never slept better , complete reset which is truly what a vacation should be , there is tons of options for restaurants and exploring in the region and Lona has the best neighbours and friends stopping by quietly to see the dogs or bring amazing gifts from their gardens. We look forward to come back again and enjoy this special place . Hard to find anything in this standards in the countryside.

Idyll in den Marken

Tolles, bestens ausgestattetes kleines Landhaus mit Pool. Wunderschön eingerichtet und mit allem Komfort. Ein Gasgrill auf der schattigen Terrasse rundet das Ganze wunderbar ab. Wir wurden von Lona sehr freundlich mit einem großzügigen Willkommenskorb empfangen. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung machen möchte ist hier richtig!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Es hat alles gut geklappt und ging reibungslos über die Bühne. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Engländerin und Katzenliebhaberin, der Begrüßungskorb mit allen notwendigen Lebensmitteln war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen, auch die Ausstattung der Häuser und Küchen , sowie des Pools und Garten waren hervorragend . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Beautiful stay in the serene rolling hills of Marche

From the moment we walked in I felt at home! Thought I had been dropped into a little slice of heaven. Marche is a very beautiful area with rolling hills and the sunflowers were in full bloom. The accomodation is made of beautiful stone buildings and has well cared for gardens and wonderful large swimming pool. The views of the hills from the property are also wonderful. We were greeted with a huge basket of goodies, plus wine, cold meats, cheese, etc. Very, very generous. Plus Lona’s homemade limoncello is absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend staying at Ciliegia and we hope to return.

Italian Rest

The property is in excellent condition, well maintained, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The pool is large and clean without the use of chemical treatments. Gavin & Lona are welcoming accommodating & generous. The view from the property is beautiful. The property is set in an stunning garden designed and tended by Lona. Our neighbours in the second villa were excellent company and added to the enjoyment of our break, as did Lona's homemade limoncello which is divine. You must visit the City of Ascoli Piceno about an hours drive away - a mini Rome, beautiful. Nearby Petritoli, is well worth a visit; an attractive hillside village with restaurants and bars. The property is in a rural setting approximately half an hours drive to the coast. We found the area very quiet, in part because we visited at the end of the season.

A superb holiday rental property

Top quality accommodation, furnishings, fixtures, fittings and care and attention from the on-site owners. 2 little gems here... one cottage for 4 adults and the other for 2. Located in a beautiful part of Italy and surrounded by spectacular scenery within 30 minute drive of the Adriatic beaches and an abundance of great restaurants within easy reach. Highly recommended.

Peaceful retreat with fabulous hosts

We had a fabulous time staying at Ciliegia. The property has a very well equipped kitchen. The bonus welcome basket on arrival was especially appreciated which also included Lona’s preserves a very popular choice for all of us. The bedrooms had a huge super comfy beds with lovely bed linen. Plenty of wardrobes and storage space. The outside dining area made for a lovely private spot in which we shared lots of lovely meals both utilising the kitchen and bbq facilities. The pool area is a good size with comfortable sun beds and very relaxing. There is a shaded communal seating area which gives a welcome reprieve from the sun on very hot days. The hosts had a great welcome when we arrived putting us immediately at ease. Gavin gave us a full tour of the property, explaining how everything worked. Gavin and Lona are very knowledgeable about Marche, from the local villages, the beaches to the Sibilini Mountains. They also provided a list of local restaurants, we tried quite a few and enjoyed them all. Nothing was ever to much trouble, they were extremely helpful when needed but not intrusive. It was sad to say goodbye to them but we hope to return very soon. We highly recommend staying at Ciligia.

Amazing! A true gem!

Where to start..? If I could give this property, and it's hosts, 10+stars, I would! Clean, comfortable, thoughtful and very well appointed. Plenty of space for 4 people. My husband and I stayed in Casa Ciliegia,(the 2 bedroom)while my 2 sisters stayed in Casa Cappella, (1 bed). Most days we would start our morning with a short drive into the local town of Montottone. There we would have the most amazing cappuccinos and pastry. Then we'd go out and adventure until mid afternoon. Coming back to Casa Cappella each afternoon was like coming home! Evie (the pup), Gavin and Lona, so welcoming. The pool, the beautiful views, the peace and quiet. Truly a magnificent holiday for all of us! There are many adventures to be had in this area, most requiring a car, but Lona has put together a very comprehensive binder chalked full of info. for you to go through. We used GPS to navigate, it worked like a charm most of the time!

A special property with expansive views. . . . Your search ends here!

We stayed for one month (Aug 19th-Sept 16th, 2017) in the two-bedroom Casa Ciliegia. We highly recommend this property. The property is kept with great care by the owners, a truly wonderful English couple who are onsite and very attentive and responsive, but in no way intrusive. The property is located in a region of Le Marche that is dotted with charming hilltop villages, each with their own church, restaurant, and cafes. . . perfect for exploration. We found the area to be truly magical, and not impacted by tourists. For people who love to drive, the roads are a dream: curvy and canopied with beautiful trees. There are many excellent restaurants, all within a 15 minute drive of the property, and several with amazing views. The owners provide a guide of local restaurants that is very helpful and accurate. We learned that Le Marche is the shoe capital of Italy, and we enjoyed visiting shoe outlets and factories. We also enjoyed visits to wineries that produced very high quality wines, and olive oil producers. The amenities of the apartment were excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare extensive meals during our stay. I was impressed by how clean everything was in the kitchen and throughout the rest of the apartment. The owners successfully maintain the apartment at a high level. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were high quality (the owners even press the sheets!) The bathrooms were clean and equipped with high end amenities. The two bedrooms in the apartment were located on two levels, which were not connected and accessed separately. The property has expansive views down the valley and of the neighboring hilltop villages. The grounds are beautiful, full of flowers, plants, and herbs we used for cooking. We enjoyed sitting by the pool, looking out at the view, and taking swims in the beautifully maintained fresh water pool. Like other reviewers, we couldn’t believe the generosity of the welcome basket. Throughout our stay, the owners brought us fresh produce from their property and a neighboring farm. We were able to use their washing machine, which was very convenient. We used the free Google Maps app to navigate and it worked really well. We downloaded the map of the area so that we could access it offline and we didn’t have to use our without using our data plan. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return soon!

Immaculate, everything done to a high standard!

Stunning home with really beautiful views across the hills. Lovely hosts unobtrusive but thought of everything! Welcome basket of food basics with red wine, white and rose wine plus beer chilling in the fridge! Very generous people, Lona and Gavin know how to look after their guests! They know the area intimately and have put together an information pack telling you about the area. You ask and they know where to go, where to eat, help with reservations etc., nothing is too much trouble. The cats were a bonus🤗

Wunderschön

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem sehr gepflegten, liebevoll ausgestattetem und herrlich gelegenem Feriendomizil verbringen dürfen. Schon der Empfang war herzlich, mit einem Korb leckerer Speisen und Getränken. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wir kommen wieder!

Traumhafte, neuwertige und extrem gepfegte Unterkunft. Dazu zwei Gastgeber wie sie netter und diskreter nicht hätten seien können. Volle Punktzahl ! Wir kommen wieder !
