Between the Historic Torres de Serrano & Plaz de la Virgen, on quiet no traffic street in the most elegant part of the Center, walking distance to the bustling Carmen quarter, monuments, Rio park & Tram going to Beach. Once part of an early 20th Century Jamon factory, now completely renovated and redecorated. 3rd floor, (no elevator), living room, 2 bed, 2 bath, custom full kitchen and two balconies . Original wooden ceilings & exposed brick walls. A\C, high speed fixed Wi-Fi.



IDEAL LOCATION-Jamon Factory Apartment

Newly designed and furnished, equipped with Air conditioning, fast fixed line Wi-fi, 2 bedrooms, 2 Baths and two balconies. This apartment, located on the third floor of a traditional building from the beginning of the last century that has No Elevator, but the stairs are low and comfortable. Located just 100 meters from the famous Plaza de la Virgen and directly behind the ancient tower of Serrano (partial views from the Balconies), on an elegant, quiet street closed to traffic in the heart of Valencia’s Historic Center. The flat is also comfortably near the ring road that surrounds the center as well as the famous Rio Turia river, recouped through dredging of the original river that once ran through here for centuries, now transformed into a sprawling public park with sports facilities, bike and running paths, soccer fields and child’s amusement park, running parallel to the Histroic Center, past the City of Arts and Sciences, a marvel of modern architecture by Valencia’s most famous, Santiago Calatrava and home to one of the largest aquariums in Europe.



From the house one can reach the following sites in minutes:

-Rio Park (150 meters),

-Ancient Serrano Tower (100 meters),

-Plaza de la Virgen (300 meters),

-Monumental Cathedral of Valencia (400 meters),

-Plaza de la Reina (400 meters),

- Mercado Central (900 meters),

Jamon Factory Apartment

The house measures circa 75 square meters, in addition to two charming balconies can be enjoyed virtually year. Located on the 3rd floor of a traditional building from the beginning of the last century that has No Elevator, but the stairs are few and it feels like a 2nd floor walkup. The apartment, properly named Jamon Apartment, was once used for the drying of traditional Spanish Jamon. A Newly designed and tastefully decorated apartment with a mix of modern and antique pieces, the flat was completely restored in 2018 with an eye towards preserving its original character while offering all of the quality necessities for your stay. The apartment is equipped with Air Conditioning and fast fixed line Wi-fi.



Inside, the house is divided in a functional way and is filled with natural light from two entire walls of windows with direct access to the balconies



APARTMENT-The Space

This functionally divided apartment is circa 75mq. (850 sq. feet), in addition to two little balconies. Through the original restored door, one finds an open space living-dining room.



LIVING ROOM: The main living room has large plank light grey flooring, wooden ceilings, exposed brick walls and steel beams. French double doors allow in ample natural light and open onto a small balcony overlooking the quiet street. The living-dining area has a modern wood table and 4 chairs, leather sofa, (folds into additional double bed), Smart T.V., custom led lighting and A\C. This room’s original features, together with its decoration, gives the space an atmosphere of quiet elegance and charm. The traditional light wooden floors contrast with the brick, steel beams and white walls add a sense of warm welcome, recalling the older tradition, albeit in a house equipped with all the necessary comforts of modern life.



KITCHEN: This custom full kitchen was professionally made to fit the space in a U shaped design separating from the living area, with cream colored granite tops and traditional Spanish tile accents and custom led lighting. Ample storage is provided under the granite counter tops and it is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and American coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with a wide range of dishes, glasses, cutlery, kitchenware, cookware, toaster, boiler and small appliances.



GUEST BEDROOM (2.0x1.60) Sleeps 2): 1St bedroom has built in closets, 4-meter-high wooden beamed ceilings, original exposed brick walls and custom lighting. Carefully furnished with custom double bed of higher quality, side table and a window overlooking the quiet street.



BATHROOM: Located in a common hall between the bedroom and the dining area, a newly renovated large full bath in ceramic with modern grey-green tones, huge oversized shower, w\c and bidet.



MASTER BEDROOM (2.0x1.60m) Sleeps 2). This room has an entire wall of windows overlooking the private balcony with partial views of the Ancient Torre Serrano. This room has a double bed, built in closets and shelves and custom niches and featurs exposed brick walls, wood floors and original ceilings and has air conditioning as well as LED lights over the bed and a library of masonry to store personal items.



MASTER BATHROOM: On suite bath with full tub and shower, entirely done in natural stone, LED lighting, original ceilings, W\C, Bidet, shower and full tub.



A well-appointed home with a mix of modern and period pieces, photographic reproductions, custom art and all of the necessary furnishings that make nice the holiday, allowing guests to live as if they were at home.



The apartment is very bright and quiet, centrally located within two minutes from the bustling Carmen district, the center of Valencia’s nightlife and packed with restaurants, bars and café’s. An ideal location for the cultural as well as the hedonist tourist, while protected from crowds and noise. All of the main monuments of Valencia area but a short stroll and, for those wishing to combine their Valencia visit with sports activities, a stone’s throw from the dredged river Turia, offering ample possibilities to cycle or run from the center to the beach or enjoy a pleasant walk through shaded pathways to the famous City of Arts and Sciences, a magical futuristic mix of architecture and home to one of the largest aquariums in Europe which is a favorite of adults and children alike.



Bicycles rentals are available for rent directly below the house.

NEIGHBOORHOOD

Situated in the most elegant quarter of Valencia’s Historic Center, La Seu, just steps from the famous landmark Torres de Serrano, the Monumental Plaza de Carmen and a mere 200 meters from the Plaza of the Virgin and the bustling Carmen neighborhood, (the center of Valencia’s night life), and just steps away from the lovely Rio Park, a dried river turned into a lush public park with sports facilities that winds around the historic center down to Calatrava’s modern architectural marvel, the City of Arts and Sciences. There are a large number of good restaurants, bars and cafe’s nearby and you will be given the list of our favorite tried places. The Central Market, a marvelous Belle Époque building houses the city’s most famed market and is surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops.

On the other side of the river, just opposite where the house is, there is a lovely museum housing precious Old Master Spanish and international works of art. In addition, here one will find a tram which goes directly to the Beach.



The apartment is also a pleasant 10 minute through Valencia’s most renowned shopping district to the Colon Metro station with connections directly to the airport, (25min. to airport)

The Surroundings



The Torres de Serrano, as well as the nearby Torres de Quart, constitute a magnificent example of Medieval architecture from the end of the XIV Century, while the nearby Plaza de la Virgen offers the visitor a theatrical spectacle of the Gothic-Barocco. The Cathedral together with the Palaz de la Reina and built on the remains of a Roman temple, dates back to the 13th Century and was modified many times over the centuries. Ledged has it that the holy grail is conserved in a Chapel within the Cathedral and this can be viewed daily.



A winding stairwell inside the Cathedral leads one to a large terrace offering a marvelous view of the city.



The Silk Merchant house, a majestic structure and once the site of commercial trading site, is now a beautiful museum with a large atrium and salon and an ancient interior garden.



The Central Mercado, aside from being one of the most representative examples of liberty period architecture in Valenica, is a gastronomic paradise where high quality local grown fruits and vegetables, meats and fish are sold, as well as the world famous prosciutto jamon. Just outside the market, a number of Street food vendors

serve a variety of tapas and Paella Valenciana prepared with fresh products from the market.



In just a few minutes, one can walk to the Carmen neighborhood, a quarter of the city known for its many bars and eateries open into the early hours of the morning,

Here a mix of locals and foreigners mesh making this the center of Valencia’s night life.



It is recommended just to meander in the little streets and alleyways of the center

where every angle will offer up a surprise of little bars, characteristic eateries, giant murals painted on the sides of buildings and artisan shops hidden in the shade of small piazza’s that all juxtapose to create an authentic charming atmosphere.



The little street on which our apartment is situated is amazingly tranquil by night, even though it sits just steps away from nightlife, where tourists and locals can be found at all hours in search of the last drink of the evening. There is also a supermarket just 50 meters from the house.

Beautiful apartment! Brand new! Great appliances, complete new kitchen, both bathroom’s are fully equipped and clean. Both rooms have comfortable beds and pillows. There’s only a warming that the apartment is on a 4 th floor and there’s no elevator. The apartment entrance has not been renovated as the narrow staircase. But once you get pass this the apartment is great!!! Definitely would go back!

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay and were thrilled with the location also. We could walk everywhere. The apartment had comfortable beds, provided all the basics we needed, and great light. We would definitely return. The communication with the property management and owner was timely and helpful.

Great apartment in the old city neighborhood of Valencia

The apartment was extremely well located, very clean, and beautifully finished. Check-in/check-out very efficient. The only con is it is up 3 flights of stairs - no elevator. This was not an issue for us (it was actually good exercise!) but anyone with physical disabilities should be aware. Overall it was a great apartment in a good neighborhood in a fantastic city.

Valencia Adventure

The location of the flat is perfect. Only a few minutes walk to so many shops, restaurants and historical treasures. The flat itself is as described and well appointed. We found it very homey and quite comfortable. The stairs were only a challenge for check-in and check-out due to four 50-pound suitcases! Our only partial negative is a minor one: the floor of the apartment needed a mopping. We hade to wear shoes in the flat to save our socks from being soiled. Otherwise, we found the flat to be very clean, spacious and modern.

Torre de Serano

Very nice apartment with great location. Clean and well decorated. Very noisy from the adjacent school. No elevator if you have issues climbing steps to third floor in narrow staircase. Very nice bathrooms. One exception, there are two levels of floor coming out of the showers on both bathrooms. This is dangerous for people stepping out. The are is wonderful and València is spectacular.

Great Location in Valencia

The communication leading up to the stay had slow response times. The communication became more responsive when our visit got close. There was a very good video for finding the lock box. Initial impression specifically of the entrance, sketchy, in time its very rustic nature became more appealing and quaint. I advise arriving during daylight hours. The apartment was attractive with great lighting, clean and as it appeared on line. The bedrooms had black out shades! Good kitchen. Great location!!! The heating and cooling system worked well. The plumbing had some significant issues and I was hoping to send a private communication to the manager as they will want to fix them. The primary bedroom frequently smelled like raw sewage. This may have been caused by the intake for the heat pump being located to the vent stack for the toilets. In the primary bedroom ensuite when someone pooped in the adjacent bathroom toilet the poop appeared in the toilet in the primary bedroom’s ensuite toilet. Also the bidet in the primary suite drained very, very slowly. These issues may be connected and should be fixed as it was disgusting.

Great apt in excellent location with an undesirable entryway

The interior of this apartment was clean, attractive and comfortable. After seeing the apartment online, we were a bit shocked by the entryway. It was not pretty--peeling paint and grungy. There was no elevator so you'll drag your bags up 3 or 4 flights of stairs. Aside from that, great location and well equipped with coffee and laundry detergent.

Prachtig apartement met top ligging

Het is een prachtig gerenoveerd apartement midden in het oude stadsdeel. Eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en reageert snel. Ons apartement lag op de 3 e verdieping en er is geen lift. Wisten wij niet vantevoren. Het was voor ons geen probleem maar voor anderen kan het dit wel zijn. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.
