DOLLARBEG CASTLE is a unique holiday rental to explore Scotland from. This luxury 3 bedroom apartment boasts a cinema room, plus a tower, with private roof top terrace and breathtaking panoramic views.

The Tower apartment at Dollarbeg Castle is presented to an extremely high standard, the accommodation retains great character throughout, with turreted corners in several of the rooms, and outstanding views from all aspects.

Free WIFI and private onsite parking.

We kindly ask guests to be respectful to others in residence by trying to be as quiet as possible after 11pm.

Min 3 night stay. No pets allowed. Adults & children over the age of 13 only. Strictly no smoking.

Scotland Castle

The Dollarbeg Castle stay was the highlight of our trip to the UK. The accommodations were exceptionally comfortable and we thought overall the experience here was better than advertised. If we get a chance to return to Scotland this would be at the top of our list for a place to stay!

Amazing Castle Experience

Our stay in the tower suite was amazing. It met all our expectations, had amazing views and wonderful privacy. Check-in and out was super easy. The whole place was immaculate. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own spaces. Location made it very easy to navigate to the sights we wanted to see including Edinburgh.

BEST VRBO apartment ever

Beautiful location--pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Be prepared for the stairs, but it is so worth it! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. First class interior. Cant recommend it enough!

Worth Every Dollar-Beg

We were impressed by the authentic castle exterior but very modern clean and functional interior. Loved the interior decor. The stairs were a a challenge for my bad knees but I did it several times all the way to the top which was excellent. The views were spectacular. The castle was isolated from shops but a terrific experience.

We had gobsmacking great time. Lovely house. Very special and comfortable. I know it’s not inexpensive- but hell we are dead for a very long time. Just go for it and book it. Love life and love Scotland!

Beautiful stay!

We had a lovely time in this spacious tower turret, and the pictures do not do it justice. Everything is immaculate and extremely well taken care of. Compared to other "castles" where we've stayed (recognizing that the current building was built as a guesthouse and never served as a real castle), there were fewer amenities and things to do (no tennis courts, swimming pool, giant chess, loaner bikes, etc.), and the building is located weirdly right next to a suburban neighborhood. But we still had a lovely time -- just know that you have to go elsewhere to have anything to do with the kids.

Beautiful spot !

The castle and grounds are really beautiful. The apartment is very well appointed. There are a lot of stairs, so anyone who isn’t happy with that will not enjoy it but we were fine. The Views are spectacular. It’s not far from Stirling, but there is very little in the immediate neighborhood. The downside was not the manager of the property who is located somewhere else but the local management who didn’t understand the heat , stove, closthes washer, and other very important items which took us three days to finally figure out. Once we did, the house, warmed up and it was great. If you come in winter, ask Management to turn the heat on 2 to 3 days in advance because that’s what it takes to heat up and Old castle . Place has a really wonderful feel and that senior remote manager is extremely gracious and responsive. . House was decorated nicely fir Christmas with personalized gifts, and bottle of champagne. We really enjoyed it and would love to go back during the summer.

Fabulous Experience at Dollarbeg!

Two friends, my teenager, and I had an absolutely marvelous stay in the Dollarbeg castle tower! The rental was immaculately clean - spotless! - with wonderful character, and all of the rooms were well-outfitted with everything we might need for our stay. Beds were comfy (not too soft as often happens in rentals), and the showers were great. (One suggestion to Americans who might get too warm sleeping under a duvet is to bring your own topsheet.) We particularly appreciated the utensils/supplies (and snacks!) in the kitchen, as well as the cozy sofas and large TV in the media room. My daughter loved climbing the winding staircase to her bedroom in the turret, and the view from the top of the tower was breathtaking and serene. Paul responded quickly to my pre-visit emails with useful travel information in answer to my questions, and Toni(sp?) was friendly, welcoming, and helpful when she checked us in and gave us a tour of the rental. (She also recommended the Inn at Muckhart where we had a yummy first dinner in Scotland.) Day trips to Stirling and Edinburgh were quick and easy, but we were always excited to return to our castle for the evening. I've already recommended the rental as a "must" to friends considering a trip to the UK, and, if we someday return to Scotland - as we hope to do - a stay here will top our list. Thank you Paul and Amanda!

Posh Castle stay

This location is awesome. Would definitely stay here again. The property manager was wonderful. The place is such a wonderful retreat. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms are wonderful. Be aware that there is lots of step climbing…being that this IS a castle. So, two of the bedroom guest rooms occupants will need to go up and down some steps if they need to. The owners left us champagne, local treats, bread, and milk so we didn’t need to rush to the grocery for provisions in the morning. We loved it here and wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely Castle in Dollar

We had a wonderful few days at the Dollarbeg Castle. The unit was spacious, modern, clean and wonderfully decorated. The check-in process went very well. We also enjoyed the quaint town of Dollar and the quiet/lovely surroundings of the castle. We even had lovely weather during our visit. Our only regret is we had to leave.

The Tower at Dollarbeg Castle

Our stay at The Tower in Dollarbeg could not have been better. We were met upon our arrival by the property manager, who showed us around and answered our questions. The property was immaculate, and treats were left to help us settle in without the need for a co-op run the first night. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided. Views from all of the rooms were spectacular, and dinners on the top were deeply satisfying. I cannot recommend it enough.

Lovely rental

We loved our week long stay at the Mansion House. The accommodation was a great amount of space for 6 of us. We had everything we needed and the stairs allowed us to get our daily exercise.
