Extensively remodelled and extended for 2021, Brow Riding now offers a three-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday bungalow with some of the best views in Keswick. It features a superb new kitchen diner with vaulted ceiling and panoramic views from Blencathra and Skiddaw round to Grisedale Pike and Catbells. This light and spacious room is a great space in which to entertain and socialise. The kitchen diner opens through sliding doors on to a raised sheltered patio, an ideal spot from which to watch the sun set over the mountains to the west. The patio has a glazed balustrade with steps down to the large private rear garden, which is a sun trap in the afternoon.
All the accommodation is on one floor. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room. The sitting room has a pleasant open outlook to the front and to the side, with views of Latrigg. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and the property also has a new shower room with a walk-in shower, toilet, and washbasin, making it perfect for the larger family or two smaller families sharing. The new utility room, which houses the central heating boiler, has a washing machine, and tumble drier and is the ideal place to dry off muddy boots after a day out on the fells.
Brow Riding is situated in a quiet residential area but is only a 10-minute walk from Keswick town centre, providing access to shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions. There is ample parking space for two cars on the drive, and the single garage gives storage for outdoor equipment such as mountain bikes and kayaks.
