Great cottage.

Great cottage. Clean, comfortable and homely.Good sized and enclosed garden for the dog. Great location for getting about the island. Not to mention staggering home distance after a tour and taste at the distillery!Wood burning stove was amazing every evening but there were no utensils (poker, sweep etc) for maintaining and cleaning it.

This was the perfect base for our family holiday, with our 2 children aged 9 and 11.

This was the perfect base for our family holiday, with our 2 children aged 9 and 11. Ideal location for exploring the beautiful island. The house was clean and welcoming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden overlooks fields and we really enjoyed watching the wildlife. When we had a minor issue with the TV Peter sorted it out very promptly which we were very grateful for. Wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend the house to family and friends. Thank you!

Lovely little holiday home in Bruichladdich

Located within view of the Bruichladdich Distillery, at the end of a small Cul de sac with a nice garden and great views. Amenities were as advertised, clean, and generally very well equipped. Perfect bolthole for our short Islay whisky trip for our group of 4 friends. A touch on the small side for 4 large men sharing rooms, but it worked and everything went very smoothly. Key collection was simple, TV, Cooker, Fridge etc... all in working order. A nice welcome pack explained some local attractions. All in all, a great little holiday home for a trip to Islay!

Well equipped, cozy cottage in one of the nicest parts of Islay . The photos are pretty accurate. but Lochindaal is lovely as is Port Charlotte both easily accessible from the cottage. The wee log /coal burner was surprisingly effective. Bring slightly smaller logs if you’re bringing your own. Loved Islay our trip was helped by great weather, a comfortable base, fantastic scenery as well as the whisky. Hope to be back soon. Margaret
