The villa has a unique location on Lake Aydat with a splendid view. It is facing south. The large garden around the house with many trees provides total tranquility, it is equipped with a portico with swings that will delight children. The villa is on 2 levels: the 2 levels overlook the garden facilitating the life outside. There are 2 bedrooms per level + a small extra bedroom to the kitchen. The arrival terrace leads directly to the 1st level. The large outside staircase made of lava stone takes you to the 2nd level. Each level of the house has all the comforts with a bathroom and a toilet. The arrangement on 2 floors allows 2 families of friends to have privacy or teenagers to sleep down for a better tranquility. The lower level has a kitchenette for morning coffee. The large arrival terrace allows parking cars without worries while allowing to cycle and play petanque. The house is well heated with central heating which also produces hot water. This family house will welcome you in an Auvergne atmosphere with its vast white stone fireplace St-Nectaire, its Auvergnat style furniture, large comfortable beds. It is a traditional family home comfortable with a lot of charm. The lower floor was renovated in the spring of 2016 and an integrated kitchen has replaced in 2018 the old kitchen to bring you more facilities. Nice old home, great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting outside looking out at the lake during breakfast was so peaceful and relaxing. Some reviews have commented that the place needs updating. While that may be true, we also enjoyed the fact that there were old cabinets in the living room, books that had been there a long time, etc. If you want a five star hotel stay at the Ritz Carlton or the Peninsula. If you want a place with some charm stay at a place like this.

Overall, we enjoyed out stay. The location of property met expectations along with roominess, and beds were comfortable. Since it was an older property that had been updated in the last 10 years (guess), it had a lot of quirks. The upstairs bathroom had a very small shower and no places to hang towels. The kitchen was small and crowded with lots and lots of stuff. Very challenging working conditions.

Le cadre est absolument magnifique et le logement idéalement situé (promenades à pied autour du lac, accrobranche). La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée (multiples accessoires de cuisine, table de ping-pong, boules de pétanque, …) et pour couronner le tout un agréable et très grand jardin clôturé. Idéal pour se retrouver en famille.

Excellent ! La vue sur le Lac est superbe. Le lieu est idéal pour profiter de l'Auvergne. Cuisine un peu petite mais le reste de la villa etait parfait pour notre semaine en famille. Testez le petit déjeuner face au lac ! Petit doute sur l'application Abritel qui semble mal router les messages avec l'hôte.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Lac d'Aydat. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien isolées. Les prestations sont conformes à l'annonce.Nous avons bien profité de cette belle terrasse donnant sur le lac. De superbes balades. Un séjour très reposant.

La conciërge nous a très bien accuilli et est très gentille. La villa était très bien en ordre, propre, pratique. Bonne litterie. Rien a marqué. La vue de la villa est splendide! Venus en famille le temps d’un long week end, grace au logement de Pierre nous avons pu profiter pleinement du lac d’Aydat et de ces alentours. La maison est vraiment très bien placé, on peux aller faire toute les activités à pied. L’accueil était très bien. Merci.

Location surévaluée

Cette maison pourrait vraiment avoir du potentiel si elle était bien entretenue ,nettoyée et rafraîchie car effectivement elle est bien située au départ de balades et proche de la base de loisirs. Un vaste terrain de 5000m2 arboré lui donne un certain cachet avec une terrasse qui donne vue sur le lac mais qui reste très dangereuse : nous sommes 3 à avoir glissé par surprise. Nous avons loué cette villa du 17 au 21 mai pour 7 personnes et bien heureusement car la huitième personne aurait eu droit à une chambre "cagibi" avec un lit une place en fer forgé ,une pièce où la fenêtre ne s'ouvre pas. L'intérieur de la maison est vieillot, poussiéreux et pendant ces 5 jours nous avons cohabité avec les insectes . Le frigo du RDC est inutilisable avec une porte toute moisie et sale à l'intérieur. Les parois de douches des 2 salles de bain sont très sales. La cheminée n'a pas été nettoyée avec des cendres de partout. Les fenêtres sont très difficiles à ouvrir . Les radiateurs n'ont pas été purgés ,font du bruit et un perdait de l'eau(je l'ai signalé). Les interrupteurs ne sont plus aux normes et les prises sont dangereuses car déboitées. Plusieurs ampoules manquaient ou étaient grillées. Le prix de la location est excessif pour les prestations données . J'ai envoyé un texto au propriétaire avec des photos le lendemain de notre arrivée car avec plus de lumière nous avons vraiment vu la saleté .Je lui ai indiqué notre mécontentement et aucune réponse depuis.

Maison charmante «dans son jus», bien placée pour des balades dans le secteur mais située au bord d'une route passante avec stationnement de voitures, à 500 m. de l'aire de loisirs du lac. Beau terrain étagé et arboré mais terrasse dangereuse par temps de pluie. Grande capacité d'accueil mais prestation basique, minimaliste et locaux très mal entretenus. Intérieur de la maison vieillot et poussiéreux, literie en mauvais état, équipement kitchenette vétuste et incomplet, interrupteurs et prises électriques défectueux, hors norme et dangereux, éclairages insuffisants avec faux contacts, escaliers non sécurisés (pas de rampe, pas de lumière), barbecue inutilisable du fait de la saleté de sa grille, belle cheminée mais pas de bois mis à disposition ! Trois chambres avec lits doubles – Une chambre avec 1 lit simple – Un cagibi avec 1 «lit» simple équipé d'un matelas d'hôpital en plastique et aucune possibilité d'aération car volet cassé et bloqué en position fermée. Prix de la location excessif et surévalué par rapport au confort et à l'hygiène de base de la maison.

Superbe emplacement et grand terrain

Villa confortable pour nous six et beau terrain de jeux pour nos deux chiens. Emplacement idéal au coeur de la chaine des Puys: un point de départ idéal pour de nombreuses randonnées. Au final un excellent séjour hivernal dans cette villa originale.
