Villa la Rocca is nestled inside the Sibillini National Park among Monte Sibilla, the gorge of Infernaccio and the hilltop village of Montefortino (Marche region).

Originally built in 1080 AD as a lookout tower to defend the Fermo area, the property is now a luxury accommodation, featuring a large private park with several plants and artistic creations, a heart-shaped rose garden, an amphitheater with splendid views, and some private trails where guests can walk or jog.

Inside the park there are some relax areas as well as a dining area with parasols and barbecue, ideal for alfresco meals surrounded by the wonderful landscape.

The outdoor spaces are embellished with a panoramic pool (8 x 2.5 m - depth 140 cm) with sun beds, parasol, external shower, and a 6-seater Jacuzzi with heated water.

The utmost privacy is guaranteed.



Internal Description



Villa la Rocca is fully furnished in an elegant and refined style, characterized by a clever mix of original architecture and modern design. Spread over 4 floors, it is divided into 2 independent luxury apartments, and can accommodate up to 9 people with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Pets are allowed on request. A high chair, a baby cot and some fans are available on request.



Apartment 1: The first apartment is located on the ground floor and can sleep up to 4 people. Inside you will find a lovely living area, made up of a double sofa bed, armchairs, tv, a dining table for up to 10 people, and a rollaway kitchen with fridge, oven, stove and dishwasher.

From the living room, through a large glass door, you can directly access a lush courtyard with a splendid view of the gorge of Infernaccio and the surrounding mountains.

Following is a bathroom with shower, and a spacious double bedroom with independent access from the garden and tv.



Apartment 2: The second apartment is set on more levels (on first, second and third floor), and can accommodate up to 5 people. It is accessed only via a short external iron staircase (4 steps).

On the first floor you are welcomed by an elegant living area with sofa, armchairs, tv, a dining table for 10 people, and a kitchen being behind a sliding door. The kitchen is equipped with: fridge, oven, stove and dishwasher.

The living room overlooks a terrace from which you can enjoy a unique landscape of the gorge of Infernaccio and the small hilltop villages on the mountains.

The second floor houses a single bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with a French bed and a view over the park.

On the last floor there is another double bedroom with tv, sofa and ensuite bathroom with hot tub and shower. The oculus placed on the ceiling of the room allows guests to admire a wonderful starry sky at night. Moreover, from this room you can access the top of the tower via an external staircase.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.



Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (450.00€); electricity (100.00€ per week); extra cleaning (25.00€ per hour per person); heating during the winter months (200.00€ per week); linen change (25.00€ per person); wedding fee (2.500,00€). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).



Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
