In a splendid villa built in 1887 in front of the beach of Punta Grande we offer 3 independent apartments with different characteristics depending on your needs. Please visit my Airb&b profile.
This apartment is on the top floor and offers an amazing sea view. Ideal for couples, the two-room apartment consists of: double bedroom, bathroom, living room with hob. Two balconies available and furnished to enjoy a magnificent panorama.

great place, lovely owners!

Staying in this 19th century villa was the best part of our holiday in Sicily. The house has its specific, historical charm, it is just 20 meters from the beach, you sleep excellent and hear the sea waves in the vicinity. But what is more important are the owners, Eugenia and Mauricius, and Gabi, who will make you feel at home. Always helpfulful, but never intrusive, provdiing the best tips and often small surprises as a piece of fruit or a nice glass of wine. We enjoyed our stay fully!

Perfect place for beach holiday in Sicily

We stayed for a week in the comfortable small apartement with a nice bedroom (kingsize bed), a perfectly equipped kitchen (gas), ensuite bathroom and private patio where we had breakfast in the sun. The apartement and the linen were clean, hot water for showers always worked (boiler). The clean sandy beach is literally just 20sec away and has a beach bar, also the Scala Dei Turci (white-washed cliffs) could be reached in walking distance (10min). The car can be parked just off the house. Our hosts Maurizio, Eugenia and Marco were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful with anything, it was a real pleasure meeting them. We had a very very pleasant time and would recommend this apartement to any couple who want to enjoy a lovely holiday. Nadine and Sven from Germany

The perfect getaway on the beach of Sicilian seaside town realmonte. The hosts were amazing.

Where should I start. Hosts Eugenia and Maurizio were amazing hosts and we could t have asked for a more perfect stay literally on the beach at realmonte. The beach is only about 70m from the front door and if you ask for the upstairs apartment we stayed up that faces the ocean you can see the ocean lapping at the shore from your bed. The apartment is so large and has fans that are great to keep you cool in the peak of summer. The place is also only a short stroll to the famous white walls that is the perfect spot to watt the sun set each night. If you have a car you can park on the street at the back of the property and if it is peak busy summer here is a local car park not far from the house. The balcony is also the perfect place to have a few wines at night, and if you feel like doing your own cooking there is a gas stove on site as well as a microwave. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for your hospitality Eugenia and Maurizio.

Bene ma migliorabile

Abbiamo soggiornato nella villa in Agosto 2024, nell'appartamento posto al primo piano.Trattasi di una dimora antica che seppur in buono stato manutentivo, necessiterebbe di una "svecchiata' per rendere l'ambiente più fresco. Seppur la vicinanza al mare rappresenti un plus, l'accesso alla struttura risulta davvero scomodo, dal momento che bisogna necessariamente transitare dalla spiaggia. Ciò rende complicata la fase di carico/scarico bagagli, nonostante il carrello messo a disposizione dai proprietari. Il parcheggio, come da descrizione, in loco ma a pagamento, con tariffa convenzionata. Avrei gradito saperlo prima della prenotazione e non dopo. Accoglienza adeguata con piccoli doni (uva e fichi) graditi. Un atteggiamento meno formale avrebbe reso il soggiorno piú piacevole. avrebbe reso il soggiorno più grgrapiacevole.

Non capisco cosa si intenda per “ svecchiata” dal momento che la villa è stata ristrutturata pochi anni fa. Come “svecchiare” una villa di famiglia di oltre 140 anni di storia? Se si allude agli arredi antichi consiglio una attenta ricerca prima di prenotare per una sintonia con i propri gusti. Le foto sono abbastanza eloquenti sullo stile della casa. Nella descrizione non viene fatto mistero sul parcheggio a pagamento e non si costringono gli ospiti a servirsene . C’è la libertà di scegliere un posto nei dintorni senza pagare nulla. Solamente si consiglia di arrivare al parcheggio per fornire una comodità all’ospite offrendogli il costo del parcheggio il giorno dell’arrivo. Quanto all’accesso alla struttura di tratta di 50 m. da percorrere su sabbia battuta a ridosso della proprietà. L’uso del carrello facilita queste operazioni che possono essere effettuate a più riprese per evitare fatiche sotto il sole. All’arrivo sono venuta personalmente ad agevolarvi con i bagagli. Se per atteggiamento formale si intende il rispetto della privacy di tutti gli ospiti della casa confermo che è così e pertanto non si consente di fare entrare in casa nè parenti nè amici. Viene detto a chiare lettere sul sito e del resto non si potrebbe fare neanche in albergo. Tanto meno in una casa privata adibita all’uso di piccole unità per vacanze dove tutti gli ospiti presenti vengono registrati alla Polizia di Stato per motivi di sicurezza. Per non parlare poi di eventuali implicazioni di ordine assicurativo. La nostra fermezza in tal senso avrà sicuramente dato a voi motivo di disappunto. Mi dispiace se la vostra vacanza non è andata secondo le vostre aspettative.

La Sig.ra Eugenia è parte integrante del valore di questo luogo, rendendolo adatto a chi apprezza la cultura e la raffinatezza. La struttura è posta in posizione strategicamente comoda per un immediato accesso alla spiaggia e per godersi la spettacolare vista sul mare. È la casa ideale per chi ama confrontarsi ed integrarsi con il contesto e la bellezza di questi luoghi. Eugenia è una donna generosa e molto raffinata, i suoi preziosi consigli sono stati utili nella scelta dei nostri itinerari.

Superb position right on the beach. So close to Scala dei Turchi.

The property is an old villa that has been made into several apartments. Gabriella was a saint and assisted us with suggestions of places to eat and made sure we had everything we needed. The sea water was warm and the position perfect! I wish I was still there. Thank you.

Wunderbare Lage am Meer. Toller Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer. Auto erforderlich, Parkplatz in der Nähe möglich. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung sehr geschmackvoll. Ideal für zwei Personen. Wir haben uns bei Eugenia und Mauricio sehr gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Die Kommunikation in Englisch funktionierte gut. Das Haus ist von einem schönen Garten umgeben. Das Baden im Meer ist traumhaft gewesen! Danke für alles!

Superb historic house on the beach

We very much enjoyed our stay in this wonderful turn of the century house located right on the beach in Realmonte. We rented both appartments and both are very tastefully decorated, well maintained, bright and comfortable. The front-facing appartment has two balconies overlooking the beach, large enough to sit out on. The area is quiet and it's only a 10 minute walk along the beach to Scala dei Turchi. Eugenia was an excellent host, meeting us in the nearby carpark on our arrival and was very helpful about places to see in the area. We very much hope to return.

schöne geräumige und gepflegte Wohnung in alter Villa mit direktem Strandzugang

Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Woche im September verbracht; Eugenia und Maurizio waren reizende Gastgeber und wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock, ist sehr komfortabel und geräumig und hat eine Terrasse nach hinten (diese könnte man allerdings ein bisschen aufwerten, z. B. mit bequemeren Sitzmöbeln, vielleicht einer Liege oder auch mit Pflanzen). Man kommt durch den Garten direkt zum Strand, sodass wir täglich schwimmen konnten. Man kann direkt zur Scala die Turchi laufen und wir haben dort öfters auf den Stufen den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Danke Eugenia

A wonderful holiday

Perfect location with direct access onto a beautiful beach with good restaurants a short walk along the beach in both directions which is great if like us you prefer not to drive at night. The house is charming, comfortable with everything one could possible need. Eugenia and Maurizio are the most charming hosts. Added bonus was the perfect weather for our entire stay.

Beautiful, exceptional location and hosts

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful historic home on the beach, 5 minute walk to incredible Turkish Steps. Close to Valley of Temples (via car.) Hosts are gracious and lovely. Loved it, and highly recommend! Would return in a minute.

Newly renovated and spotless. Charming hostess - very welcoming. Beautiful beach right out the door. Our suite (the newly renovated one) does not have an ocean view, but from the patio (with a lovely table and umbrella) there is a perfect view.

Wonderful home on the beach

Eugenia and Gabriella are such warm and gracious hostesses. The property and rooms are beautiful right on the beach. All you hear is the ocean and birds. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to unplug and unwind. Thanks again Eugenia and Gabriella for such a lovely stay and the pastries you gave us when we were leaving were delicious!

Magnifique maison dans un endroit de rêve

Apartment in schönem alten Haus mit Meerblick und Meeresrauschen

Wir haben ein paar ruhige erholsame Tage verbracht. Die Vermieter waren sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig, schön eingerichtet und sauber. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Besuch von Agrigento, den Tempeln und dem Scala dei Turchi. Der Strand liegt direkt vor der Tür, bei wärmeren Wassertemperaturen wären wir häufig ins Meer gesprungen. wunderschönes Haus direkt am Meer

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Entspannen und viel Abwechslung. Eine wunderschöne Wohnung mit Meeresblick und Meeresrauschen, Zugang direkt zum Strand. Wir fanden eine geräumige Wohnung mit schönen alten Möbeln ausgestattet und kleiner Küchenzeile vor, alles war sehr sauber. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und wir verbrachten einen netten gemeinsamen Abend. Sehr nahe sind die Tempel und die Altstadt von Agrigento und Scala dein Tuchei. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Eugenia and Maurizio are very helpful, showed us around and gave us the insider tips that make you feel like home. The dolci, the fruit, the limoncello, everything was delicious and delightful. Amazing Villa on the Beach

We spent an amazing time here. The villa is located directly on the beach, you walk through the gate and there you are. We had 2 apartments, both were very beatiful and everything was clean. The hosts(family Ciotta) are very kind and always helpful. The location is also very convenient. You can reach the "scala dei turchi" within a 10 min walk. I recommend this place to everybody that loves to be near to the beach in a beatiful house& and likes to have nice company. I hope to come back again. Best regards Gianluca& famiglia

Splendida dimora storica a due passi dalla storia

Casa Ciotta ci ha ospitato nella nostra ultima tappa nella meravigliosa Sicilia. Che dire... dopo aver goduto dello splendido mare e dell'emozionante Etna, esserci calati nella storia e nella cultura millenaria dell'isola e aver assaporato l'ottima cucina siciliana, ecco la ciliegina sulla torta: una villa del 19° secolo sul mare, carica di storia, a due passi dalla Scala dei Turchi e dalla Valle dei Templi! L'appartamento, comodo e funzionale, dispone di ogni comfort; bella la terrazza fronte mare per serate in relax in compagnia di un libro, un buon bicchiere di vino e il sottofondo delle onde. Un grazie particolare a Eugenia, Maurizio e Gabriella, che con la loro accoglienza, cortesia e gentilezza ci hanno fatti sentire come a casa. E' stato un vero piacere conoscergli.

Siamo stati felici di ospitare Francesco,Chiara, Marta e Jacopo che ci hanno tenuto piacevolmente compagnia ed hanno portato una ventata veneta dalle nostre parti. una vera casa lontano da casa

Spl endida scelta per le nostre vacanze, 2 adulti e una bimba di 2 anni, all arrivo, siamo rimasti colpiti dell ampiezza degli spazi, dalla posizione fronte mare su di una spiaggia di sabbia fine. L ambiente è rustico, la cucina ben attrezzata, il bagno piccolo, ma pulito e funzionale, lo spazio esterno un oasi di pace e riservatezza. La proprietaria, Gabriella, sempre disponibile e generosa di ottimi consigli. Portoempedocle è facilmente raggiungibile, quindi ristoranti e negozi accessibili, la spiaggia è in parte occupata da un piccolo bagno attrezzato con servizio di ristorazione, la spiaggia libera di sabbia fine offre un facile accesso al mare anche ai più piccoli, la scala dei turchi è raggiungibile a piedi. Direi ottima soluzione sia per coppie che per famiglie, la disponibilità della proprietaria è stata la ciliegina sulla torta.

Nuestra casa fue construida en 1887 por Francis Ciotti, nuestro bisabuelo. Desde entonces siempre ha estado habitada durante las vacaciones de verano a partir de cuatro generaciones que han seguido
Nuestra casa ha sido habitada varios invitados durante décadas pero también fue cerrada durante las dos grandes guerras del '900.
El abuelo de Calogero, fue representante consular de Suecia y Noruega.
Relaciones importantes tenido con el exterior era un hombre educado y un buen pianista. En varias ocasiones, distinguidos invitados disfrutaron de la luz de la luna con una copa de vino ovacionado por el sonido de un piano de cola todavía presente en la planta superior.
Realmente gustaría tener contacto con la gente y esta actividad nos permite hacer buenos amigos.
Queremos mantenernos en línea con la tradición y compartir con otros el placer de disfrutar de nuestro mar.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

La ubicación de la casa es privilegiada: justo en el agua y en la playa. Te hace sentir en el mar la mano, incluso si se queda en la terraza. Noches de verano con el cielo estrellado que disfrutan especialmente.
La casa es antigua y llena de historia. Esto le hace inmediatamente tan pronto como se cruza el umbral.
El hecho de que siempre perteneció a la familia lo hace especial, ya que da una identidad muy clara.
Nuestra familia está muy atento a las necesidades de los clientes que pueden expresar sus deseos sin miedo de causar problemas. Siempre sucede que nos entretenemos agradable de beber buen vino o un aperitivo juntos.
La zona también es muy rica en atractivos culturales.
El Valle de los Templos es conocido por todos, pero no se puede olvidar que, cuando nació Pirandello y Camilleri cuyos escritos están inspirados en las características humanas típicas del lugar. características únicas en términos de simpatía, inteligencia y filosofía de vida.
