Belfast stay

Great apartment near the center of Belfast - can walk to most areas. Great, light-filled main area (large windows, high above the city). Three comfortable bedrooms.

Weekend visit

Needed a base within a walk to the city centre for nightlife. Apartment is well located, neat and tidy, and checking in was straightforward Towels and some household essentials were kindly provided and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and having two showers was a bonus. Really happy wih our stay.

Week end in Belfast

Weekend in Belfast Practical, comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Easy and free parking in the neighborhood. Not enough crockery for 5 people, or what to cook or sit down to eat while the accommodation can accommodate 5 people, no coffee machine.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was spotlessly clean, it's in a great location, walking distance of all attractions, pubs and restaurants. Botanic gardens, Ulster Musuem and Queens University at the top of the road. Peter the host was very helpful whenever we messaged him for info, bus times etc. And the kitchen cupboard was well stocked with tea, coffee and other condiments. All bathroom stuff provided too, shower gel, shampoo, loo roll etc.

Lovely, well appointed apartment

This is a great apartment which served us well for a busy weekend in Belfast. It was very clean and well appointed. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage space and the arrangement of two double rooms plus a single worked brilliantly for us. Two shower rooms was incredibly helpful for five adults. There are some great bars and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk and the centre of town took us about 20 mins. It was very easy to park on the street, close to the entrance, for free. Overall, it's great apartment at a fantastic price but don't expect much from the immediate area. Thank you very much.

Clean, comfortable

Good: clean property, comfortable temperature & beds, clean bedding & towels. But: it’s advertised as having two shower rooms with toilets, which is why we booked it. There was one toilet potentially for 5 people staying. There were no tea towels, we weren’t told this in advance so didn’t take one. We enquired and we’re told there is a dishwasher & kitchen towel roll, which would be replenished if we ran out. If we’d known there wasn’t any tea towels I’d have taken one. Location: is close to the train & bus stops, so easy to get around if you don’t want to walk everywhere/the weather isn’t kind. Lots of great restaurants nearby - plenty of options at good prices. A little noisy at night but it is in a city so to be expected, nothing that kept us awake.

Weekend

This is a great apartment, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Just like in the photos. However, the check in process was appalling. Despite repeatedly contacting the owner multiple times before arrival, we were given no check in details until an hour before check in (after the 3 of us had flown to Belfast) We were so concerned that we thought we had been scammed. We resorted to contacting Vrbo and getting them involved. It was a stressful start to our weekend. Anyone considering booking the apartment should know that it is actually in a very run down area, as a group of three females we took a lot of taxis rather than walking, particularly at night. Once inside the apartment block we felt very safe as it was on the 6th floor and quite secure.

I really really wish I could give this apartment all 5 stars - the apartment was really superb - my wife and I and our 2 kids booked it for a wee weekend break in Belfast. The apartment was PERFECT and really lovely - 3 rooms at a great price, the area on the other hand, sadly was not. Right across the road was a Holiday Inn Express solely used to house refugees, imigration/ migrant accomodation with people hanging about at all times of the day and night, same thing down the street at the Ibis hotel and lots of boarded up and horrible graffiti riddled houses surrounding. We had the 6th floor which was the saving grace. The apartment fob entrance, the entrance hall , the lift etc was all excellent and very clean though. If my wife was there with friends she would not have felt safe at all I'm sorry to say, more so coming back from a night in the city centre. On the plus side - the location is perfect if you are attending a concert in Ormeau Park (which we did) - you are only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the apartment. Also, i recommend the UBER app for taxis - very very reasonable prices, lovely clean cars and great drivers - chatty, friendly and nice people. Belfast is a wonderful city and I recommend you visit it.

Not entirely as described

We only stayed one of the three nights we had booked. From the start the arrival was difficult. I had reached out to the host about one week prior to the arrival to reconfirm as I had not received any check in instructions and was told I would get the information a few days prior. It was not sent and I was panicked trying to get access when I arrived. After messaging and calling I eventually got someone to send me the access code. The unit is clean, however while it has two rooms with showers and sinks, ONLY ONE HAS A TOILET. I have never stayed anywhere that says it is two bathrooms without it being two rooms with at least a toilet and a sink. We were ready to overlook that, but the beds were very uncomfortable with super thin mattresses (full size) and the bathroom with the toilet had a sewer smell upon arrival that did not go away when the exhaust fan was on. To top it all off, the roof leaks at the top of the stairs near the elevator and a family member almost slipped down the stairs when we were leaving. I had such high hopes for this place given the prior reviews, but we just couldn’t stay beyond the first night.

Apartment was clean and well equipped

Not as centrally located as we thought it would be and this could easily have been helped by some advice on how to get to city centre. As four older ladies who are not as IT savvy as the student population located in the area a little book with some directions to the train station, places to eat etc would have earned the 5 stars.

Nice modern appartement

The appartement is well located, an easy walk to shops and restaurants nd the botanical gardens. Clean and a good kitchen.
