About this property

Relaxing retreat in the country

A great country property nestled up against a forested area. This was once a barn that has been converted into the wonderful space that it is today. A small screened in patio off the back to enjoy the mornings. Wonderful hiking trails located just a 2 minute walk away. A common draw to the area is the world famous Stratford festival just a short 15 minute drive away. This is a great retreat from the city. The Country Nook is right beside our house. But offers a ton of privacy. If you have any questions or need something please don't hesitate to knock or send us a message. There is no cellphone service but wifi calling allows your cellphone to work normally. With your opening message will send you how to use it.
Please note we have 2 large dogs who are confined to our property via an Invisible Fence System. They do roam our property but are not permitted in the retreat unit. If you wish to meet them please let us know. Finally, we have security cameras that face the drive way and nook entrance. They do not look into the unit itself and are there to monitor the property only.

Check in was easy….good directions by owner.Comfortable beds…..beautiful setting with a vehicle. Only 10 minutes to Stratford.Friendly dogs kept us company.
Inside cabin was beautifully converted. Air conditioning was very comfortable.

The Nook is a sweet hideaway, the layout is well thought out and the screened in back porch was a perfect place to relax and enjoy my book. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

Great hideaway - close to Stratford

Very cool place.... We loved the screened in porch. All the comforts we needed. Very much in the country, but only 15 mins drive from all the stuff you might want in a small city like Stratford. If you want to meet them, the hosts' dogs WANT TO PLAY with you and they're adorable.

The Cozy Nook was perfectly cozy and stuffed with little extras that made my families stay amazing. Adorable modern farmhouse interior with coffee and creamer in the fridge! Games, streaming, books, fire place outside and in! Everything was so thought out and clean. Wonderful stay, and with so much to do in the area, I highly recommend!!!

Winter getaway

We revisited the Country Nook for our wedding anniversary again and loved it. Games, movies, a quiet restaurant meal nearby and even snowshoeing. Clean, quiet and nature. Thank you Kevin and Allison!

It's secluded and quiet. A lovely pond is out front. A Norwegian wood fireplace outside and a gas one inside. All the inside touches make this feel like a family cottage a place to relax and recharge.
