The Hayloft is in the main block of cottages situated above Stables cottage. This cottage apartment is popular for family and friends to get together and enjoy some time away in the countryside. With its large open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area, the space is ideal for every to dine together. Please note if you are booking the Hayloft as part of a group you must also book Stables cottage. Explore over 700 acres of farm, woodland and land, enjoy the gamesbarn, outdoor heated swimming pool (open May to end of September) and tennis courts. There is something suitable for the whole family.

Another wonderful stay at Spixworth...

Back for a 2nd time to stay at the Wonderful Spixworth Hall Cottages. The perfect location for a get-a-way and see Norfolk. We will be back.

A great place to stay for exploring Norwich and Norfolk with children.

We stayed for a week as a family of four. Located north of Norwich, Spixworth Hall is set in quiet countryside as well being close to Norwich. The Hayloft was very spacious for four and well equipped. Some appliances were slightly worn but totally functional. Great games barn for the children with spacious parking. Value for money will definitely be hard to beat. Easy recommendation for families with children! With two P&R nearby, Norwich is easy to reach and North Norfolk and the Broads are close at hand for day trips. Many attractions within 30min by car.

Amazing, such a great cottage for our whole bridal party to get ready on the morning of our wedding. 6 guests also stayed here and absolutely loved it, thank you.

Cottage Stay Hayloft

All of our family stayed in the Spixworth Cottages for our wedding which we had in the barns. My family who stayed in the Hayloft said it was very clean and tidy, set out well with everything you needed. A nice touch was added on arrival with all condiments for our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here again

A good holiday

We enjoyed the stay. Good weather and plenty to do on the farm as well as the general area. Beaches at Mundsley and Sea Palling very clean, lifeguards and dog free area.

Birthday weekend away with friends

Our stay was amazing! The location and all the facilities are great and a lot of fun. We made sure to use all of them including the tennis court, the pool and the games rooms. The hosts are super friendly and helpful with any need we had at any time. Thanks for the great weekend!! :)

Beautiful cottages and something for all age groups to do on site. Hired 4 cottages for my partners 50th so all 26 members of the family could share his special day. Staff were lovely and helped with any needs we had. Would definitely recommend

Great place to stay and tour around from.

The property in its total is vast making it ideal for famalies and groups. There are lots of facilities including 2 barns with games galore, childrens playground; a beautifully set, outdoor, heated swimming pool, ponds, fishing, walks and the horses that are stabled there all making for an interesting stay. The apartment itself was very spacious with very well equipped kitchen; not just 6 of everything by any means. Beds large and comfortable and lovely clean bathrooms. Set in tranquil surroundings with a bery helpful and friendly host. We would definitely recommend and visit again. all

Hot week in Norfolk.

The Hayloft has spacious accommodation and we all had a good time. The kids love using the pool, swings and games areas, so they were kept busy. It was very hot during our stay and the owners brought extra fans to help keep the rooms cool at night.

What an amazing gem tucked away not far from Norwich. we spent a week here enjoying the beautiful setting and amenities the cottages have everything you could want/need and the huge lounge and eating area is a fantastic entertaining space for families and friends. couldn't ask for better hosts either Jack and sheelah were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. will be coming back again 0222

Family Gathering

We had a fabulous family get together at Spixworth Cottages. The Hayloft was the perfect location for us all to meet at various points during the weekend, as the open plan living area easily accommodated a large group of 20. We were able to combine the tables so that we could all sit down and share a roast dinner together too. The cottage was a lovely space, which was clean and well stocked with crockery/cooking equipment. It had a lovely home from home feel with lovely views.

Excellent accommodation

This is the fourth time we have started here. The hayloft is great value for money and is our favourite cottage. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Our only complaint is that it does not allow service dogs which is very disappointing. Great communication with staff and they really ensure you have everything you need. I cannot fault the level of customer service. Will be returning next year to this great location.

A great get together & family holiday!

We were a party of 15 this time renting 3 cottages (this one plus Swallows & Stables) which all exclusively shared the walled garden, This was absolutely perfect as we had a dog and a 2 year old - neither of which we wanted to escape! The barn & the outdoor pool were well used by our group and a few ventured to the hard tennis courts too! Various beaches are 35 - 45 minutes drive away so the fine weather meant we did some exploring too. Another great time had by all ....making memories! - A BIG thank you to Sheelah, Jack & Kim!

All ten of our combined family spanning four generations enjoyed another great stay at Spixworth Hall Cottages staying in Hayloft and Stables .We had a great time in the swimming pool and taking walks around the fields.

Lovely with a huge lounge and dining area

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and Jack and Sheila were fantastic hosts, catering for all our needs and requests. The whole site, with the games room barn was great. We used the barn for line dancing which was ideal. We had 37 in the lounge/ dining area for a Buffett and Quiz night with plenty of room.

5 star cottage close to Norwich

This is our 2nd booking at Spixworth Hall Cottages and would thoroughly recommend. Lovely countryside location but close to Norwich and other delights of Norfolk. The cottages are well equipped, very clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and will try and ensure any reasonable requests are implemented if possible. The games room is brilliant if children are staying. We hope to stay again when the heated outdoor swimming pool is open.

I’m not sure how many times we’ve stayed in the cottages. Always a brilliant family holiday. Loads of space for family to meet and children to enjoy
