Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 4 in 2 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Welcome to Nantucket Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

This cottage has been partially refurbished in late 2022 with new Bathroom in February 2024.

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with corner sofa (and bed), SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer and large Fridge Freezer.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 king and 1 twin bedroom with a NEW family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio with brick BBQ, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

The owners (Nicky and James) look forward to welcoming you to their lovely cottage.

Lovely Cottage

Lovely cottage has everything you need.

Beach great and dog friendly . Flamborough scarboro and bridlington easy to get to. Walked along sand to humanby and stopped at the beach cafe . Then walked back to the bay along rhe footpaths cliffs . Lovely afternoon great weather .

Amazing!!

Great value with buy 3 get 1 free perfect location next to the beach perfect for kids and dogs and the cottage had everything we needed and so well equipped love the pub and sitting out side when the sun is shining is the best can't fault anything and can't wait to go back

Ideal holiday cottage

A well presented, clean cottage in a lovely quiet area.

Loved our break in this well presented clean cottage. Had everything we needed. We’ve stayed at The Bay many times and this is yet another excellent property, set in a quiet area, but close to the amenities and the beach. Thank you.

Lovely accommodation and facilities

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Nantucket and it has always been clean and well appointed and the owners have installed a new bathroom recently. Based in a quiet area of the complex which is ideal for us. The facilities at Anchor Bay are good with the pub and restaurant a short walk away. It is an ideal location as a base to explore this area of Yorkshire. We will certainly book this cottage again in the future

A cosy and beautifully presented cottage

Nantucket was a cosy, calm and comfortable haven for us for several weeks. The cottage is immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Anthony was incredibly responsive when we had queries and needed help, going above and beyond to sort minor issues out. All of the staff at Filey Bay are wonderful.

Lovely cottage on a lovely site

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the cottage had everything you needed and was warm and cosy. It’s placed in a nice spot away from the main road into the site. Easy to walk to the beach and the meadow walk, Great for dogs and walkers. We would definitely go back to the Bay such a good area to explore. Anchor Bay holidays were very good, plenty of information sent before we left and while we were there. Thank you !

Perfect Stay

Great stay. Cottage location was good. Very clean and well equipped. Tassimo machine was a bonus. Very comfortable accommodation. Would recommend booking with Anchor Bay Holidays. Only downside was that we found the onsite pub to be extremely overpriced. Didn't get chance to use the other onsite facilities.

Nantucket cottage

Only problem was we couldn't get in to swim always booked up and the same applied to the gym which was disappointing other than than that beautiful accomodation and the grounds were kept beautiful and clean

Excellent cottage

We have stayed at the Bay numerous times over the years and this cottage has been the best for comfort and location. Everything was top quality- beds, furniture, kitchen equipment crockery etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and the board games were very welcome The sofas were comfy and we were able to spread out in the lounge because the lounge/ dining room is so spacious. Other places we’ve stayed in have felt cramped The location was quiet but handy for the amenities.

Easter break in Filey

Lovely house, perfect for family of four plus a dog. Ten minutes walk from a beautiful beach, walked along the beach to Filey (~ 1 hour at a leisurely pace) where we had bacon butties and ice creams. Twenty minute car drive to Scarborough - crabbing and the best amusements ever (according to my husband ). Would definitely return.

Nice, clean, comfortable retreat. What more do you want from something.

Pretty much everything you need for a "non hassle" holiday. Information on how to use the equipment was available and easy to understand and the cottage was clean and comfortable. I believe that the kitchen had had some work and my Wife especially thought (that given the space) that it was very well designed and installed to a good quality. Ideal base for exploring the delights of this coast.

Fabulous dog friendly break

We booked this the day before we travelled as a last minute break, what can I say, absolutely fabulous!! Break was my husband and I with our labrador. The place was gorgeous so much more than I expected. The kitchen had everything you could possibly ask for. As for resort, again brilliant so dog friendly, I think I'd have felt more odd if I didnt have my boy say by the table in the pub, which does beautiful food. Beach access good but anyone with mobility issues would struggle I think. I will definitely be booking for next year without a doubt.

Ok stay overall

Ok stay overall. Excellent location. The interior of the cottage was aesthetically pleasing. Well equipped in generally good condition. However there were a few issues… Cleanliness could be better. Stains and dog hairs on bedding. Basic areas were properly cleaned I.e toilets and sink areas. However, some obvious areas had been missed which were quite dusty. Sofa and beds very uncomfortable. We had a lovely holiday and it was at a decent price.

Whilst it is disappointing to hear that the cleaning did not meet your expectations, our guest information gives contact numbers for any problems. Unfortunately we were not contacted so did not have the opportunity to rectify the issues you identified. With regards to the furnishings, many of our guests (and repeat bookings) appreciate the firm sofas and beds we have at Nantucket, but we appreciate this is not to everyone's taste. If you are considering another break in the area, the Anchor Bay portfolio has a wide range of properties accounting for all tastes.

A lovely find

Perfect location for visiting east Yorkshire’s coastline and N Yorkshire Moors. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. We didn’t use the leisure facilities, so I’m not able to comment on them. The cafe was closed and the pharmacy was reducing its stock lines for out of season visitors. The advertised EV charging stations behind the pub were missing. It looks like a new fence has been put up in their place. That meant that the other two chargers on site were very busy. I would hope that the two missing ones will be reinstalled. One suggestion for the house would be to fit a grab rail on the wall above the bath for those climbing out of the shower. I’d definitely go back for another visit; it makes a great base.

Much needed break

Lovely cottage on a fabulous holiday village. All the amenities you need and a short walk to a fabulous beach. Very peaceful. The house has everything you need lovely and comfortable very well equipped very quiet and just a 30 second walk to the pub shop and leisure centre. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One minor complaint would be it maybe wasn’t as clean as expected the windows were filthy there were grease marks on the worktops and smears all over the kitchen cabinets and the fridge doesn’t really get that cold
