Villa Tennis Club Degli Ulivi - The Magic of Salento and Relaxation

The villa, built in the early 1960s, served as the family’s summer home and was renovated in 2013 with the guidance of a well-known interior designer. The pool (3x15) was built in 2017. It is open from June 15 to September 15 each year and, upon request, at other times as well. It is surrounded by hedges of Mediterranean scrub featuring mastic, myrtle, rosemary, blackberry, and pomegranate shrubs, and on one side by a reed bed. It features finishes in carparo (Lecce tuff), which will darken over time due to the natural oxidation of the stone, symbolizing the water reservoirs once used for irrigation in our countryside. It has a constant depth of 140 cm.<br>Magia del Salento is a country villa situated within a larger 7-hectare estate featuring centuries-old olive trees and tall pine trees. It features an adjacent outdoor area paved with antique chianche and furnished with garden furniture (beach umbrella, chairs, lounge chairs, coffee table, and a rocking chair). It is surrounded by expansive open spaces with natural vegetation and wooded areas.<br>The villa consists of 4 double bedrooms (three of which can be configured with twin beds), accommodating a total of 8 adults.<br>In one bedroom, it is possible to add two folding beds with a mattress pad, which are comfortable for children but not for adults.<br>There are three master bathrooms (all with showers, and one also with a bathtub) and a guest bathroom (near the kitchen) with a walk-in shower.<br>The villa features a spacious living room with a fireplace, a study area, and a dining area. In the summer, meals are enjoyed outdoors under the portico. <br>The same family built the adjacent Circolo Tennis degli Ulivi G. Toma (one of the oldest in the province of Lecce, with a prestigious history of sports and competition), which currently consists of four floodlit clay courts and a spacious clubhouse.<br>Access to the club is free for guests of the villa, while use of the courts requires a fee.<br>You can book tennis lessons with certified instructors.<br>The club is run by the family, who will welcome you upon your arrival with warmth and hospitality and will serve as a valuable point of contact throughout your entire vacation.
