Lagos is one of the Algarve’s top destination cities. Boasting a historic oldtown, modern marina, cultural attractions, with some incredible beaches and scenery it really combines much of what the Algarve is famous for. In fact, it’s probably got so much to do that a day trip to Lagos really doesn’t do it justice. It’s a perfect place to spend a long weekend, or longer holiday. With a wide variety of bars, pubs, and restaurants it’s a lively place that doesn’t suffer the same seasonality that some of the smaller resorts and towns in the Algarve suffer from.apartament

The host was just excellent and ensured everything was to our liking.The condo itself surpassed our expectations ..very spacious, clean, lots of linens and is just such a comfortable space to enjoy a vacation

Fantastic

Great check in, great location and a beautiful well equipped apartment! Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Close to beaches. Had an amazing holiday and will definitely be back.

Not as advertised

Returned from our stay in August, messages with host have been ongoing but no resolution reached/latest message hasn’t been responded to. Overall disappointed with our stay compared to how much we paid/what we expected. Original message advised that the one pictured on the website was not available, but were offered one the same but in a ‘traditional style’ with a discount. Week or so later, advised it was back to full price as property has been refurbished - this was not the case. - property on website had 2 floors, ours was only on 1 - Told property had been refurbished but struggled to see anything updated - Rust on fridge racks and freezer didn’t work properly (wasted money on ice lollies that all melted) - Fuse box kept flicking off in two double bedrooms when air conditioning was on, this was apparently known and solution was a fan - Kitchen light switch fell off - Stressful check in process, host was late to our agreed check in time and apartment location not clear. Walked all around the marina trying to find it and had to ask other hotels for directions. - No welcome pack in apartment/map/local attractions/contact numbers etc. - basic expectation of holiday rental Disappointing and feel a little missold.

Great apartment, fabulous location

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location cannot not be bettered in Lagos. Close to the beach and some of the best restaurants and easy access to the train station if you want to explore. Highly recommend it. Only suggestion would be some instructions for the washer/dryer for American travelers not used to European machines.

A pleasure from start to finish. Nice apartment in the perfect area overlooking the marina with a huge terrace. Great fun. Car parking outside, shopping nearby. Couldn't be better.

Stunning Apartment with Wonderful Marina Views

My wife and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for 3 weeks in February. The web site description encapsulates it perfectly. On arrival, we were met by Marcia and given a warm, friendly and informative welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. A definite asset. The apartment itself is well equipped, modern, bright, spacious and contemporary, and its location is ideal for the pool, Meia Praia beach and is only a short walk into town. However, the star of the show is the everchanging view of the marina. My wife and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and wonderful holiday. We were reluctant to leave and will definitely be back.

Fabulous Apartment in Lagos

This apartment is fabulous, location couldn’t be more perfect for the pool, beach and walking distance to all amenities Lagos has to offer. The view from the terrace is so lovely and the owner has made sure you have everything you need to make your holiday perfect in every way.

Perfect location

We had a great stay. Location and amenities very good for 4 friends. It is a large bright place with a great view on the marina and easy access to town and beaches. Marcia was very responsive, we could not have asked for more. Thank you!

Everything in this apartment was great...spacious, clean and felt like home from home. Well equipped kitchen and everything you needed to be comfortable. Enjoyed using the resort pool and the gym. Walking distance from town.

Beautiful marina views

This is a clean, bright spacious two floor apartment, perfect for families. Washer and dryer was also so great to have. Lovely big patio to sit on. Great location, and just a 10 min walk to the old town and great local restaurants (the ones at the marina are mostly British fare). Paula was also very quick to email me back with any of my questions. A few things that could be added to make it a 5 star stay would be someone waiting for us on arrival (despite informing of our arrival time, we had to wait an extra 20 mins waiting outside on the steps, which was tiring after a long day of travel), hand soap in bathrooms, extra garbage bags, and two pillows per person. The windows were big and beautiful, but sadly didn’t seal tightly so were drafty and a little noisey.

Great Marina-side location

Great apartment, in a great location - just 3 blocks via the foot bridge takes you across the water to the town center. Lots of restaurants on both sides of the water. Major grocery store 4 blocks away and kitchen is well-equipt for cooking meals in. Wonderful patio! Comfortable living room seating, dining area and beds. Heat works well, once the remote system is understood. Property manager is very helpful and patient, booking airport transfer and explaining heating remotes. Can't wait to come back again!

Fab apartment fab location

This is a fabulous apartment in a brilliant location with view over the marina and literally yards away from bars and restaurants (though no noise issue). It's beautifully decorated and very comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, washing machine, coffee machine, dish washer, microwave, toaster and a large fridge freezer. The airconditioning worked extremely well. The view from the balcony was amazing and found myself sitting there every morning and afternoon when we came back from exploring to have a drink and watch the boats, it was extremely relaxing. My only issue was the shower as the water was very temperamental in temperature. The pressure was great and the bathroom well laid out. Lazy Jacks restaurant round the corner did fantastic food and if you cross the bridge into the old town (not far and well worth it) The Orangery did amazing steaks on hot lava stones - delicious and reasonable. Lovely and hopefully we will return. Also the apartment was scrupulously clean and extremely well maintained.

Stunning waterfront apartment close to all amenities

This is a lovely apartment with plenty of room for a large family. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Lovely views over the marina and not far from all the restaurants, shops, bars and beaches.

Fabulous, spacious marina apartment

You can't go wrong with this one! The apartment is absolutely lovely, with plenty of room and super views over Lagos Marina. It is very tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The apartment is walking distance to the local, very large beach and access to Lagos town is 10 minutes walking distance, through the marina and over the swing bridge. There are bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the apartment in the marina and Lagos is full of restaurants and bars. We had a fabulous holiday!

Perfect location for bars and restaurants and the apartment was ideal for the family. Thanks to Paula for arranging transfers and meet and greet at apartment we had a lovely time and would recommend this for others.

Luxury Apartment

We are returning customers after having such a great experince staying in another of Paulas apartments in the same building last year. This apartment is as luxurious and contempory as the other one. It is bright, modern, spotless and in an incredible location. The apartment is decorated so beautifully and ladies there are huge wardrobes with tonnes of storage! We have a teenager and to have UK tv channels including sport and excellent broadband service is fantastic. The view from the balcony is stunning overlooking the marina and the apartment is a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars.Our experience from booking with Paula to meeting her keyholder Marcia on the day of arrival has been so positive we will defintely be returning again.

Brilliant Location, very clean apartment with excellent facilities for families

Great experience dealing with Paula. The lady who met us with the keys was very prompt and even gave us a lift to the local supermarket when we arrived. The apartment is in an excellent location, brilliant for families. It has everything you need for self catering and more. Literally, Paula has thought of everything! It feels like home from home!

Very comfortable apartment with great frontline views of Lagos Marina. Excellently located.

We spent 3 relaxing weeks at this property and enjoyed all local amenities including Marina bars and restaurants - also there are many watersport activities if required. Location is excellent with a 10 minute walk to the Rail and Bus Stations and Old Town. The Old Town is packed with bars and restaurants and lovely artisan shops - very pleasant place to have coffee or a glass of wine whilst people-watching! We would stay again in this apartment. Thank you Paula for allowing us to share your lovely home and also to Marcia for greeting us and giving us ideas for visits around the area.

A gorgeous apartment in a stunning location

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The apartment has a lovely spacious feel and has stunning views of the marina. The apartment is spotlessly clean and is very tastefully decorated.. There are some lovely restaurants and cafes literally on the doorstep and with the town centre being only a few minutes walk away we were spoilt for choice. The old town of Lagos is just perfect.. We will definitely return and wish to thank Paula for making the whole holiday, from booking to arrival, a stress free process. We will be recommending the apartment to friends and family (hopefully they don't book before we do). We are hoping to book for a week when the weather warms up and both cannot wait for those warm summer nights sitting on the very spacious balcony with a glass of Portuguese red.!
