Here is a little history of mine....My family has owned this property for many years and I purchased it from my Uncle in the mid 90s. I have loved the peaceful atmosphere this area has to offer. I have enjoyed many years of Bass Fishing on Lake Wedowee and can give tours/advice if needed. Recently married/relocated and we want to share this peace and quiet with others.
Lake Wedowee (R.L. Harris Reservoir) is one of the cleanest lakes in the southeast, and is a great place for fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting and relaxing. Our house is only 8 miles from Town of Wedowee (East on Hwy 48) and 8 miles from Lineville (West Hwy 48) which both offers a few restaurants, grocery stores and friendly people. Roanoke is only 15 miles and has Wal-Mart and new Hospital to open in the Fall of 2017. This property is approximately a twenty minute vehicle ride from Cheaha State Park and 35 minutes from the Talladega Superspeedway. It is also located 5 minutes from the Piedmont Bird Sanctuary, Alabama Gold Mine and Antiquing Trails shops! Welcome and Enjoy!

Why they chose this property
As I explained earlier, my Grandparents owned this property and then past to my Uncle. I have many memories of my childhood within the rolling hills and gorgeous views on Lake Wedowee. I have spent many days fishing this lake and won several Bass Tournaments. The area is peaceful and Serene.
What makes this property unique
I have enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the swing for hours and spending time with my family. I have wild life come through the yard and love watching them in their natural habitat. Just in short a very peaceful retreat that I still love to visit.
