Located in the magical and peaceful surroundings of Porto Rafael, Le Corbule offers the perfect modern hideaway for a family or group of friends. This recently renovated, contemporary villa can accommodate eight guests, with spacious living areas and a large, sunny terrace perfect for soaking up the Sardinian sunshine!

Furnished in a fresh and modern style, the villa benefits from bright and airy rooms throughout, with large glass windows and doors allowing the sunlight to flood inside! There is a roomy living area with sliding doors to the terrace and is the perfect place to socialise as a group. Decorated with fine materials, including oak and corten steel and baskets typical of central Sardinia, the living space has a charm and character to it, that complements the contemporary style. A few steps up is a dining table for enjoying home-cooked meals. The kitchen can be found next to the living area, fully equipped for your use, with a small wine fridge and another dining table. 

There are four bedrooms - three double rooms and one twin bedroom. All three double rooms boast modern en-suite bathrooms and there is also a fourth family bathroom. The homely feel of the villa allows guests to properly settle in and spend some quality time together as a group.

Stepping outside, the fabulous terrace boasts a private swimming pool with an incredible sea view, perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. There are sun loungers and ample outdoor seating, so you can pick a spot to sit back and relax, finishing your book or maybe enjoying a glass of local wine. There is also a luxurious raised jacuzzi, where the last of your worries can fully melt away! Surrounded by luscious vegetation, with a sense of complete privacy and tranquillity, Le Corbule is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy!

Le Corbule is located in the magical and peaceful surroundings of Porto Rafael. Just minutes away from a superb range of beaches and towns this villa is perfectly situated for getting to know the north-east corner of Sardinia.

The glistening coastline is always one of the major draws of this area, which can be spotted from the beautiful garden. The closest beach is around 1km from the villa in Porto Rafael and is perfect for a quick dip in the sea. Spiaggia de La Sciumara is also very close and is a lovely, sandy, clear-water beach, surrounded by hills and offering distant, picturesque views of La Maddalena Island. For sunbathing and taking a dip, this picturesque beach is perfect, though there are a wealth of other beaches nearby, from sweeping sandy ones to tucked-away swimming coves, so you can choose a different one for each day of your trip.

We recommend a visit to the protected islands of La Maddalena Archipelago, known for their unspoilt beaches which can be accessed by boat from the town of Palau which is 3km away. There are almost 60 islands in total, though most visitors tend to visit around seven islands during a stay. Boat tours offer the opportunity to snorkel in tiny coves only reachable by boat and see the celebrated pink beach on Buddeli island. For a more unique experience, we recommend stopping on Caprera island which is famous for being the home of revered Italian general and revolutionary Giuseppe Garibaldi, who lived there for 26 years. Today you can visit his former home to learn more about him and see many original artefacts.

Palau is not just a brilliant place for boat trips, the town itself offers a vibrant selection of cafés and restaurants. Visitors can hike up to The Bear Rock or the imposing fortress on Monte Altura, taking in the breath-taking views. Porto Pollo Beach offers fun and activities for the whole family, with water sports, sun loungers and refreshments on offer, to keep you all going through the day. Whilst wandering around the town, it is also worth paying a visit to the Ethnology Museum which has lots of information and artefacts on the history of the area. If you would like to do some shopping during your stay, then Palau has a number of artisan shops and bustling markets which continue in to the evening.
