Almond Cottage Clare - 2 Bedroom English Cottage in Smallest Town in Suffolk

We welcome you to our 16th century cottage in the centre of the historic town of Clare, the smallest town in Suffolk.

Our fully equipped cottage is only a few minutes walk to Clare Castle and Country Park, Clare Priory, the Ancient House Museum, antique and independent shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Many other places to visit including Long Melford and Lavenham.

Almond cottage is ideal for couples, families, friends and business travellers who would like a comfortable place to relax.

We will be available to deal with any questions you may have during your stay on the phone. If you require us to, we can attend the property.

Clare is a historical market town with everything you need on your doorstep. Easy to travel to surrounding villages and towns. Great walks and bike rides in the country park and along the river Stour. Once you are at Almond Cottage, you can walk to everywhere within Clare.

We do not have any off street parking and there are double yellow lines at the front of the cottage. If it is safe to do so, you may be able to pull over quickly to unload and load your luggage. There is plenty of free parking just a minutes walk down the street, there are also two parking places opposite the cottage but please read the parking restriction times. Just at the bottom of the road opposite the cottage there is the Clare Castle Car Park which is free in the evenings but you will need to check the signs for parking times and charges. This is only a minutes walk and guests have had no trouble finding parking in the past.
