Séjour incroyable

La villa est somptueuse, nous avons passé un très beau séjour. La maison est bien équipée, l'entretien de la piscine est fait régulièrement... Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables dans cette belle villa, merci !

Ein tolles Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Ideal für einen Urlaub mit mehreren Personen. Allerdings ist das Haus etwas älter und teilweise renovierungsbedürftig.

A comunicação com os gestores da casa era demasiado remota /robótica/impessoal, especialmente o check-in foi desnecessariamente problemático. A casa é fantástica e a arquitetura interessante. Muitas pequenas falhas funcionais, nas luzes, portas, canalização, casas de banho. A frente da casa precisa de toques urgentes na sua façada/pintura. No total ficamos satisfeitos.

Villa needs a full refurbishment

We were expecting great things from the listing however the villa did not live up to expectations. The villa was very dated, run down and dirty. Cons: The kitchen cupboards did not open and close properly, the crockery and cutlery was a mis match of items collected over the last 40 years, cracked floor tiles, no curtains fitted the windows so we had to put suitcases at the bottom of the windows to block out the light, a window was cracked, there was a 2 slice toaster for 12 guests, the fridge and dishwasher were dirty. We stayed for 4 nights so had 3 full days there as we could not check in until 5pm. On one of the afternoons 4 gardeners turned up unannounced with 2 ride on lawn mowers, industrial leaf blowers and strimmers. They were there from 1.30pm-4.30pm. The noise was so loud we had to go inside and spent the afternoon in the villa. A complete waste of an afternoon around the pool. One of the villa policies is that you need to get rid of your rubbish which is completely understandable. The nearest bins are a 10 min walk away, not great if you don’t hire a car. The pros, the air con was fantastic and the outside pool area and grounds were lovely although the sunbeds, tables and outside sofas were all dirty. If you want a modern, clean villa this is not for you. It was not worth the money which is such a shame as the property could be absolutely stunning and it probably was in the 70’s !!

We are sorry that the villa did not live up to your expectation. It is a unique villa set on a 5000m2 plot of land, with a beautiful huge garden and a very spacious house. Its name is because, as you say, from the seventies. It should be functional and clean. Our cleaning is very detailed and fulfilled by an exhaustive check list, to secure that nothing is forgotten. We will look deeper into this issue as well as the cutlery and toaster. The garden and pool need to have twice a week the maintenance. Otherwise we can not guarantee the quality of the water and the well kept garden. This is something we can not avoid or change. We apology for any inconvenience and will take into consideration the issues you have pointed out. Best regards Evelyn
