The Cours Saleya is perhaps the most photographed place in Nice. The chateau dominates above whilst the daily fruit and flower market offer an exhaustive choice of fresh produce, as well as a remarquable atmosphere. There is an enormous choice of great restaurants and bars, and the charm of the old town is behind. In front is the sea and the public and private CASTEL beach.

No car required here but there is public parking (managed by INDIGO who offer 1, 3, 5 and 10 day rates) under the Cours Saleya with lift access to the ground floor.

The tram makes moving around easy. Nearest stop is Opera/Vielle Ville which is 3 stops to Nice Ville train station (for a visit to Monaco or Italy, or in the other direction Antibes and Cannes)

Also close is Garibaldi/Chateau which will take you straight from and to the airport.
