Casa Mas del Pi - Charming Catalan holiday home near the Costa Daurada-coast

One can hardly find a more beautiful and authentic cottage than Casa Mas del Pi, which is located in the heart of Catalonia's beautiful wine country. Here you are surrounded by vineyards on all sides and the small local bars are serving wonderful local wines. The tiny village has 6 houses. The three are holidayhomes (one for 10 people, one for 8 people and a smaller to 6 guests), in another there is an excellent restaurant, the owner of the cottages has his house in and the last lives a Catalan family.

The holiday home Casa Mas del Pi is a 400m2 beautifully decorated holiday home. The owner Carme has gone the extra mile for all the details, so it is a delight to explore the house and enjoy the many small details. She has for example preserved and restored an earlier well which has its own space - just to maintain the house's history and preserve some of the authenticity.

The house has an enclosed classic Catalan patio, with a few tables and there is also a large covered terrace with BBQ. That it is covered will be of great benefit on those hot summer days when a little shade is welcome. An older sink with beautiful tiles on the terrace is also preserved, which again creates a unique and authentic Catalan atmosphere. On the second floor is also another terrace and in the home there are a few French terraces.

The kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities such as dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The kitchen is again restored to the authentic style . The dining room is connected to the kitchen. Casa Mas del Pi has three floors and the kitchen is to be found on the ground floor so it's handy when you want to eat outdoors.

Casa del Pi has a spacious and traditional living room and 5 large bedrooms. All rooms are very unique and again here are every detail is taken care of. The size of the rooms is ideal when you are away as a large group because there is space and great atmosphere if you wish to pull back a little now and then. There are also 3 beautiful bathrooms and a guest toilet in the house.

The three apartments in mini-village share the building's large pool area. The pool is 9x5 m. and here is also lavished on details and design securing a conservation of the authenticity. There is approx. 10 meter walk to the pool area. If you prefer to frolic in the Mediterranean is just 18 km. to the beaches of the Costa Dorada.

The area is part of Penedés wine district, and there are plenty of opportunities to visit wineries in the area. The house also has a village with a few restaurants and shops within walking distance, and also a station with a few departures. If you want to take the train to Barcelona, it will probably be easier to park at a larger station. Among the other high-speed train one station, just 6 km. away.
