We truly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau, especially due to its cleanliness and proximity to Bayeux shops and restaurants. Our host Franck was very welcoming and accommodating. His recommendation of a private chef made a perfect evening for a birthday celebration. We highly recommend staying here!

This home was just gorgeous and I only wish we had stayed longer! The owners have thought of every little detail. It is comfortable yet very elegant. The location is perfect being in the heart of Bayeux. Very easy to walk to restaurants and other places and easy for tour guide and taxi drivers to pick up as well. The check in and check processes were smooth and painless. Would love to return. We especially enjoyed the garden for relaxing. Thank you for renovating this beautiful old madame into such a hotel!

splendide !

We decided to restore the Auxais Mansion in Bayeux to welcome guests as we would wish to be welcomed—warmly, respectfully, and with attention to detail. We enjoy sharing the stories of this region and ensuring that your stay feels personal, memorable, and comfortable.

We chose Bayeux for its unique blend of history, beauty, and its meaningful place in the story of Normandy. Located in the very heart of the historical centre, just minutes from the D‑Day landing beaches, Bayeux is one of the few towns spared from total destruction during WWII. Walking its streets gives you a direct connection to the past—be it the Cathedral, the World‑Renowned Tapestry, or the surrounding Normandy countryside. It’s a place where heritage, culture, and nature combine in peaceful harmony

Auxais Mansion is a beautifully restored 18th‑century private mansion set in the centre of Bayeux. Its character blends historic charm—built on Gallo‑Roman remains and old castle ramparts—with modern luxuries: premium beds, multiple baths, private garden and courtyard, full amenities, free parking, and short distances to landmarks and transport. We offer not just a place to stay, but an experience of living history, comfort, and elegance in Normandy.
