Charming newly redecorated 2 bedroom, 1 bath third-floor apartment facing south east and west from the hallway/back terrace, and views of sea and bay from the large front terrace. The apartment is in a quiet, owner-occupied complex with pristine pool, gated outdoor parking, fully furnished with satellite TV, DVD, Air Conditioning, heating, high speed fiber. Ideal to rest during your vacation (summer, winter, short term, long term), enjoy water sports, walk along the coast to beautiful artsy Altea, with two of the best restaurants in the whole area (paellas, seafood and Argentinian steaks), 10 min. drive from hip Benidorm on the north and high end exclusive yachting Puerto Campomanes and Mascarat, or Calpe. The apartment is centrally located situated right behind the Kactus Hotel in the main beach avenue on the cull de sac Calle JS Bach. Wifi, water and garbage are free. Electricity is also free for stays of up to 7 days. For over 7 days, utilities are free up to a normal allowance of 5 kwh per day and will be charged at 50 cents per kwh for the excess as per the readings in the meter at the apartment.

Wonderful Stay!

We spent nearly two months in this lovely apartment. Very well equipped down to the brand new beach chairs. Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. We couldn't receive UK TV very well when we arrived but within days Jose arranged to have a firestick installed and then we had about 300 channels to choose from! Excellent location for beach, town and restaurants. Thoroughly recommend

Holiday

This is a very good location with great access to restaurants, shops and the beach. We had a nice view of the sea across the street. The pool was great and we basically had it to ourselves. We had some trouble with the washing machine, but the owner brought us a new one directly. We will be back next year. Marianne O.

Albir apartment

The property itself is in a very good position to beach sea front with lots of restaurants and local supermarkets . The only problem was that the condition of property was very tired and in need of redecorating. The weather was not good when we were there so had to have the heating on which was through the air com which proved to b very expensive. Now on a positive note Jose the owner after being informed of this did to his credit come round immediately with a gas cylinder heater. He was very fair with regards the electricity bill and we came to an agreement. Also the apartment is getting a full refurbishment which will make such a difference. So yes I would rent again because I know that the work is starting immediately.

location très bien située proche de la plage des restaurants des commerces. appartement bien équipé. nous avons apprécié les ventilateurs dans toutes les pièces. un petit bémol avec l'usage de la piscine parfois bruyante. A noter cependant que les horaires d'accès à cette piscine ont été parfaitement respectés. en résumé, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement.

Het inchecken ging slecht. Persoon sprak geen Engels en had weinig tijd. Geen duidelijke uitleg. Alle stekkers waren bij aankomst eruit, dus koud water om te douchen en we moesten alles zelf uitzoeken. Satelliet was een probleem, eigenaar was behulpzaam maar we hebben het zelf opgelost. Hadden het voor 1 mnd gehuurd

¡el apartamento está sucio! ¡El horno está cubierto de grasa y horneado en grasa! el lugar también estaba muy frío, compramos un calentador ya que el aire acondicionado/calefacción era demasiado ruidoso. el mantenimiento es deficiente. la aspiradora era inútil. ¡el propietario seguía llamando y viniendo para arreglar las cosas! ¡Creo que esto debería hacerse cuando no hay invitados! Cuando le informamos al propietario, José María, que nos íbamos temprano, ¡ni siquiera se molestó en responder! lo único positivo es la ubicación y la vista. en general ... ¡definitivamente no recomendado!

Perfect location, central to plenty of restaurants and local shops, second bedroom is a little small but OK for 2 children, pool was very welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay we would happily recommend this apartment.

El apartamento se encuentra en una urbanización junto a la playa y el paseo marítimo, cerca de todo. Cuenta además con aparcamiento, algo imprescindible en la zona. Amplia piscina comunitaria y entorno tranquilo. En resumen, la ubicación es excelente. En cuanto al apartamento dispone de todo lo necesario para unas agradables vacaciones, incluido aire acondicionado, tanto en el salón como en el dormitorio principal. Lo único que se echa en falta como sugerencia de mejora, sería aire acondicionado también en el segundo dormitorio.

Beautiful Albir...Hope to see more of it next time.

Jose’s apartment is in a fantastic location, a very short walk to the beach with all amenities close by. The apartment was stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay. Lots of cutlery, crockery, glassware and towels; washing machine, ironing board/iron. The apartment complex has very pretty outdoor areas, stocked with beautiful flowers and fruit trees. A lovely central pool area completes the outdoor space. The apartment community has electric gates for use if you bring a car and leads you out to the beach side of the complex. A beautiful area which can be viewed before your stay, as we did, via “Skyline Albir Webcab “ A gate at the other side of the complex leads you to the local small and well stocked supermarket as well as some local restaurants and a pharmacy. Unfortunately our month in Albir started a couple of days before the Coronavirus lockdown in Spain so we saw very little of Albir. We were however very fortunate be staying in this apartment with such lovely views from the balcony, modern bathroom and peaceful surroundings and enough space for us as a couple. We thankfully also had plenty of U.K. TV channels. We look forward to returning later this year when we will hopefully be able to explore this beautiful resort and the surrounding areas. we loved Albir and the location

Definetely worth the stay. We have been in this property now a couple of times and we keep loving it. The host is prompt in responding to all our requests and the apartment fit us beautifully for our family. Very secured location, next to the sea, very bright and happy place to spend a few days in Albir. Highly recommended.

Best location, nice, clean, quiet, safe

We enjoyed our stay at Jose's Albir apartment tremendously. It is a somewhat dated community but very cozy and relaxed. The apartment inside has been partly remodeled (new bathroom, painted) and has a wonderful terrace overlooking the pool downstairs and sea views. Great for breakfast where you can see the sun until midday, then the sun comes in the back of the property where Jose has a small table and chairs in case you wish to enjoy the afternoon sun. Very quiet community with all you need to enjoy Albir.

Lo pasamos muy bien en la casa de Jose Maria del Albir. Apartamento muy lindo, pequeno pero con mucha luz y todo lo que uno necesita. La comunidad es muy tranquila, tiene una piscina perfecta y tiene un buen parking interior. Desde la terraza se ve parte del mar y la piscina. Definitivamente volveremos a disfrutar de este apartamento.

Do not rent this appartment.

Directly if you enter this appartement, the sewage smell is welcoming you. When you enter the living room the moisture smell hits you. The kitchen cabinets are not suitable to store food, so they are stinking. The promised TV is only the free channels to receive. So i had to place a other system on my own cost. It is not possible to close to balcony doors, hence you are not safe for the night. The beds in the master bedroom needs really to be replaced, we are suffering heavy back pain due to this bed. The second bedroom is the limit, it is so small that there is only 1 inch space between the walls, elderly people have to clime over the beds. Kitchen utensils are the bare minimum. Dogs are permitted in the add. However the building rules do not permit them. Hence we faced problems wit the community. Allover we advise you not to rent this.

Disappointing

The location of this quiet apartment is superb. It has easy access to the promenade and all the facilities wonderful Albir has to offer (shops, restaurants, supermarkets and buses). However, the apartment has an atmosphere of a lack of care, neglect and much needed maintenance. Cannot fault the owner for his quick response to our request for replacement chairs but the focus must be on improved maintenance.

My partner, me and our two young daughters Charlotte and Morgan love to visit our new apartment in L'Albir and enjoy the beautiful sea, the lovely walks to Altea along the Paseo Maritimo and the great food. We just bought the apartment this year after seeing many possible locations and chose L'Albir for its quaint, relaxing and excellent location. We live in San Francisco Bay Area but come to Spain typically twice a year for vacation and to see friends.

L'Albir is like an oasis in the busy Mediterranean Costa Blanca. You have the best of both worlds--the quaint, relaxing Albir village (an originally planned Norwegian community with its own Norwegian school), next to the buzzing Benidorm, a mere 10 min. drive north, and the artsy Altea within walking distance. You can venture south 10 min. drive into beautiful Mascarat with the world famous Puerto Campomanes, where you can enjoy lunch viewing some of the most beautiful yachts circling the Mediterraneun. You can drive 10 more minutes to the Isthmus of Calpe or venture into the interior to visit the most interesting typical Spanish towns of Polop and many others with their churches, old mansions, local flavors and local festivities. You can golf in Albir itself at the Club Albir Pitch and Put Golf or at the nearby 18 hole Melia Villaitana Golf Club. There is no better place to enjoy all this than from L'Albir. We love it!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

You sit on the terrace watching the sea waves. You walk just 50mts and there you are. A vibrant but not overcrowded beach, a beautiful walking path to Altea to take in the evenings before dinner. But you are also next to the centre of the village of L'Albir, with all its amenities and services. Plenty of low budget local restaurants or high end sea food and paella or steak restaurants. Just 30 minutes from Alicante Airport, you can also drive half hour to Denia, take a 2 hour ferry to Ibiza even for the day. L'Albir has it all... in our we love it. It attracts mostly a community of Scandinavian, Dutch, Germans, British, and French tourists, with the balance, especially around the Summer months, from Madrid, Valencia and the North of Spain. The Albir community is lively not just in the summer months, but throughout the rest of the year. A big difference with other resorts which go sleep from Sept. to June
