Great stay

It was such a luxurious apartment, Comfortable bedrooms, very well equipped and very nice location near the centre and the thing that i liked the most was the safety of the complex , but the only thing that we disliked was the ventilations were off we couldn't find any instructions to follow.

Lovely apartment within the walls of York. Could walk to the large M&S food and clothing store, The Shambles, York Minster and lots of restaurants are close by. Buses nearby can take you to Whitby and Scarborough. Very handy to have private parking, as driving can be a nightmare within the city.

Excellent Stay

The apartment at Ryedale house was exactly as we had hoped. Beautifully decorated throughout. Excellent standard of facilities and equipment provided. The lovely welcome bag was a really nice surprise. We needed for nothing. The views from the lounge were amazing and we were lucky enough to be treated to beautiful sunsets over York. The staff at Stays from booking to our arrival were excellent, friendly and efficient. Not only were we delighted with the property, it is in a great location for exploring the city. Everything was within easy walking distance. Another plus is the two parking spaces.

Beautiful Apartment

This is my fourth time at this apartment. It is beautiful being exceptionally well furnished and very tastefully designed. I would highly recommend. I also feel it is good value for money. It is really located to the centre of YORK one minor piece of feedback is to put a shelf in the second ensuite.

Beautiful apartment. exceptionally clean and well equipped. Close to centre

This is a beautiful apartment on the seventh floor right in the centre of York. It is well equipped and the furnishing is sumptuous. It has two parking spaces which is a real bonus. I would highly recommend this property The washer dryer is extremely difficult to understand and operate. It would really help if there were printed instructions that show how to wash and dry separately.

Luxury abode in Uork

Our recent stay in York was absolutely brilliant! This apartment is tastefully decorated and was sparkling clean from top to bottom. While we’ve previously stayed in Minster-facing rooms in this building, we actually loved the fantastic people-watching from the living room here—it adds such a fun, local vibe to your morning coffee! The Highlights: • Prime Location: Steps away from The Shambles and just a short stroll to the Yorkshire Museum. (Be sure to explore the Museum Gardens—the ruins are stunning!) • Foodie Heaven: You’re surrounded by great eats. We highly recommend a meal at The Whippet Inn nearby; the steaks and atmosphere are incredible. • Five-Star Sleep: The beds and linens are top-notch—total luxury. • Total Convenience: Having a private parking space in the city center is a massive win, and the M&S is just a 2-minute walk away for easy supplies. The thoughtful welcome basket (coffee pods and lump sugar!) was the cherry on top. A perfect home base for exploring York—we’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous stay at The Sanctuary

We actually stayed 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The penthouse was gorgeous with amazing views right across to the Yorkshire Wolds. I have stayed in a lot of holiday rental accommodation over the years and The Sanctuary was the best equipped property ever! Beautiful furnishings, comfortable surroundings, cosy sofas and comfy beds… lovely glassware and even Denby Crockery! Great welcome information provided (although the WiFi code in the pack was wrong !) and private secure parking for two cars which we appreciated. Ryedale House is close enough to the city centre (a short walk)… Only negative was the apartment was a bit hot but we worked out a system of closing curtains against the sun and opening windows (when in shade) which helped. Otherwise, everything was fantastic! We will definitely return in the winter! Thank you for a wonderful stay
