Welcome to Apartment 207 @ Ryedale House, your perfect getaway in the heart of historic York!

This holiday let promises a delightful and memorable stay with its unique blend of fun and quirky aesthetics. The two spacious and cosy bedrooms are the ideal places to rest after a day of exploring the city, each room is a unique experience in itself, with playful colours and comfortable furnishings. Both bathrooms are designed to provide you with the utmost comfort and relaxation, with modern fixtures and amenities, you can freshen up for your day ahead or unwind after a day of adventure. The living area is a hub of creativity and entertainment, it's open-plan design invites you to relax on the comfortable sofas, whilst enjoying the bright and airy atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals, including an air fryer! The vibrant colour scheme and quirky design elements make cooking and dining a fun and enjoyable experience. If you prefer dining out, you are just a short stroll away from some of York's finest restaurants and cafes.

Apartment 207 @ Ryedale House is perfectly located to explore the city's rich history, charming streets, and famous landmarks. York Minster, The Shambles, and The Jorvik Viking Centre are just a stone's throw away. You'll also find an abundance of shops, pubs, and cultural attractions to explore during your stay. You'll also have an allocated parking space, offering peace of mind and convenience. Please note that the allocated parking space is located in a corner, with a wall on one side and a pillar on the other. Guests should therefore take care when manoeuvring into and out of the space. Please be aware that the space may not be suitable for larger vehicles.

Please note that Ryedale House does not have dedicated disabled access, such as wheelchair ramps.

Access to the building is via a couple of steps at the main entrance and also from the rear car park. Guests with mobility requirements should take this into consideration when making their booking.

Great stay at stylish central apartment

Great stay at this centrally located, good sized, clean and bright apartment. In easy walking distance of the attractions, with good quality fixtures and fittings, sound proofing windows, useful amenities supplied such as coffee machine, hairdryer and iron, 3 tvs, 2 fans, modern bathrooms and great black out curtains, lovely modern atrium, and nice interior design. Customer service was great prior to our stay and there is lots of helpful info avabilible for how to use/find everything at the apartment. Beds and pillows are on the soft side for me (but this is a personal preference) and no shampoo/conditioner/shower gel is supplied, but this is a very small nit pick. As with most city stays, there is building work going on around the apartment block/limited views, but we were out all day so this didnt bother us at all. I would stay here again if I was in York and would recommend to others.

Weekend in York

Great apartment, within minutes of the city centre. I watch the video on how to obtain your keys/fob for the apartment and parking beforehand, this made the arrival entry much easier. The lounge gets hot when its sunny, I found drawing the curtains kept it a lot cooler.

Lovely Apartment, close to city centre.

We had a lovely stay in apartment 207 Ryedale House. The only thing that was a little strange was that if you were in the smaller bedroom, having to hang up our clothes in the hall cupboard as there was no wardrobe in the bedroom. I expect this was due to there not being enough space in the room. Other than that, a lovely stay

Apartment 207 Ryedale House

The apartment was amazing, really close to the town centre, the shambles, bars, restaurants, etc. Great open space and comfy beds. The only thing I would recommend to the owners would be to equip the apartment with more fans. The 3 nights we stayed, there was a national heatwave happening. The fan in the living room was broken but there was a separate one in the closet thankfully. However, I found it very hard to get some sleep as even with the window open in the bedroom, it was still very hot in the apartment. A few more fans would have cooled the bedrooms down significantly. Other than that, brilliant location and apartment.

Great stay, highly recommended.

Terrific apartment, good value for money, very comfortable, the overall set up at Ryedale House is terrific, couldn’t recommend it highly enough - and we should know, we stayed for two months! Stays York are absolutely terrific, couldn’t have been more helpful or responsive.

Great apartment, just be careful with the parking......

The apartment location and facilities are great, but a little warm in the summer with the full height glazing, but there are cooling fans that can be used. The only down side is that the parking space isn't great at all. It's really tight, stuck in a corner with two walls to the front and side and a column to try and squeeze past too. We had to reverse down the car park and then drive into the space as you can't open the drivers door (at all!), but remember and pull in your wing mirrors. This is the only way you can get in and out of the car within the space. Luckily there isn't a dedicated parking space directly opposite, so you get some space to turn the car into the space. Watch out for the wall mounted air conditioning units if you do decide to reverse in, when opening the boot. It would be really helpful to advertise the tight space in the advert.

A very pleasant stay

Our stay was extremely pleasant and just as advertised our only complaints was we wasn’t able to use the cooker hob, not enough instructions was available also we couldn’t control the heat of the shower in the main bedroom but thankfully we had a bath so we were able to bathe, we will still be back to York and use your apartment again.

Absolutely amazing place to stay

I booked Apt 207 as a student from the University of York as a location for a group short film, everyone at stays was very helpful with permissions and answering any questions I had along the way. The apartment itself was amazing! Super clean when we arrived, and was the height of comfort for our entire production.

I would rather not share a good review:

as it is becoming a little more difficult to book an apartment at this wonderful location. Each time we have stayed the apartments have been clean, they are roomy, if I were to have a single gripe it would be that the bathroom sink is a little small, there I have done it, hopefully this will put you off from staying there as we are back again soon!! The Stays York team, excellent, their communication is second to none. They just seem to have this right. Their service has been nothing but exemplarily. So thank you to the whole team. We often stay in nice hotels and Airbnbs across Europe, this is definitely one of the top places to stay. If you are going to York, then you must check these apartments out. Its not just the apartment, the location is perfect for town, and everyone is very friendly. Would I recommend - absolutely, do I want to recommend, no, I would love to keep it quiet so we can book more often (there have been a couple of times we have visited York and there has not been an apartment available).... but hey, looking forward to the next time.

Fabulous!

Fabulous apartment. Lovely and clean and great location. Nice view of the river and a great four poster bed in master bedroom. Fun bar area for cocktails and very spacious living room. Great communication with the host. Prompt replies and felt they went the extra mile. We would definitely book again.

Sisters break

This is the second year we’ve been to this apartment and I can honestly say both times have been brilliant. It’s a beautiful well displayed apartment with all you need for an enjoyable stay. Having a Christmas tree really puts us in the spirit of Christmas. It’s very close to the castle museum which is well worth a visit but only 5 minutes in the other direction to the street market and main shopping area. It’s very peaceful and relax.

Excellent stay

Flat was immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated and well kitted out. Had plenty of space for our party of 3. Location was perfect, within easy walking distance of all main attractions and close to restaurants for the evening. Stays York were great, provided all the info we needed in advance, checked in before we arrived and let us know as soon as the accommodation was ready. Would stay again and will recommend to others.

We love this apartment super clean and spacious. Very luxurious bedding and high end appliances. Right in the center of York with parking. It was super warm and felt really spacious we will definitely return. 5 stars from me.

Very comfortable central York apartment with covered private parking space

Comfortable, clean, modern 2nd floor apartment with spacious hallway with lots of storage and floor to ceiling windows throughout. Much better value than a York hotel; it has one secure covered parking space under the building included in the rental price and 2 beds, 2 ensuite and another cloakroom in the hallway plus comfy TV, dining and cooking areas. Excellent location for walking all around York, inside and along the city walls. Would highly recommend.
