Villa Mateo offers self-catering accommodation located in Vodovađa, quite little place in Konavle region. This accommodation is a perfect place for a countryside retreat as they are situated in a peaceful rural inland area with intact nature and rich vegetation. Arriving with car is recommended since there are buses, but they are not passing so frequently. Free private parking is available on site. Three-bedroom villa features fully equipped kitchen with dining area, outdoor kitchen, living room , as well as two private bathrooms (one of them includes Jacuzzi bath) and external bathroom, all bedrooms features large double bed. It will also provide you with a lovely furnished terrace with a swimming pool. Free private parking is available on site. This location is perfect for guests who would love to visit popular touristic center, but stay far enough to avoid the crowds and keep their peace and privacy. Famous Dubrovnik's Old Town with its City Walls is approximately 35 km from the property, Cavtat is 20 km away, Budva and Kotor are approximately 55 km away, while Dubrovnik Airport is 18 km away. At 200 m distance guests can find a winery. The nearest beach is 12 km away from the property. Market can be found at 2 km distance, while pharmacy and supermarket can be found at 7 km distance. Nearest bus station is 100 m away. Dubrovnik Airport is 18 km away.
The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

My wife and I saved here for 12 nights - very spacious, with good air conditioning and all facilities needed, Great balcony, terrace and pool with a BBQ outside too, Our children are grown up now but if you have young ones / teens perfect for them with basketball / five a side court with table tennis too, Best thing though was the friendly owner, nothing was too much trouble and we were given grapes, plums, water melon and cucumbers during our stay, Views of the mountains and sea from this wonderful elevated villa breathtaking, Great value and would thoroughly recommend, thanks for a great stay

Hidden Gem

The house and its amenities are excellent. The hosts are very friendly and nothing is too much. We loved the pool, the hot tub, the sauna but also the pool table and darts. The apartment is very clean and has everything we needed. Our favourite bit were the sunsets every night. Amazing. Plus, as its a very remote location, we had the best night sleep for a long time. It's so quiet. We loved it. And the kids gave it 10 out of 10 every night. The road to the house is only a one lane road and can be steep. We ensured to buy all our supplies on our day trips which worked well. We would recommend this house and would consider coming back in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
