Mysig kokong med pool och tennis. Fantastiska semestrar i Dordogne garanterat!

Milou House ligger i den frodiga grönskan i Black Perigord nära Beynac, och är idealiskt för familjesemestrar. Vi avslutade noggrant återställningen 2013, och det erbjuder nu alla bekvämligheter i ett modernt hem samtidigt som de behåller charm från gamla stenar.

På första våningen är vardagsrummet organiserat runt skorstenen och fönstret öppnas på fälten. Köket är helt nytt och fullt utrustat.

Den 2: a och 3: e våningen har vardera sovrummet, ett är ett lysande vitt rum med skorsten och trämöbler och det andra på vinden är precis som en bekväm fristad. Badrummet är utrustat med ett badkar och en stor italiensk dusch. Toaletterna är separerade.

Utsidan av tornet är charmigt organiserade i terrasser.

Den första stora terrassen är lämplig för måltider utomhus och grill. Precis ovan kan du koppla av i den stora och uppvärmda 12 meter långa poolen som erbjuder panoramautsikt över det omgivande landskapet. Det delas med värdarna i Maison de Milou.

Slutligen kan sportentusiaster njuta av den privata tennis i skogen, som delas med de två grannhusen!

cozy "tower" in rural setting

The Tour de Milou was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The views were lovely and the charming town of Beynac et Cazanac was a 10 min. walk down the road and along a wooded trail. Paula, the onsite hostess, was very welcoming and helpful and, although her English was very limited, we did manage to communicate with my equally limited French. She recommended restaurants and arranged for the canoeing. The only problem was the wifi which was very weak and unreliable. We were told that the location and weather influenced the internet service so nothing could be done. The TV didn't work correctly but was fixed by the next day after we called the office. There are fairly steep stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom on the second and third floors.

Excellent séjour

Un lieu magnifique, idéal pour se reposer et visiter la région. Une piscine avec vue splendide. Logement aménagé et décoré avec soin. Nous remercions les personnes qui gèrent la location pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Nous recommandons vivement.

Fantastic location!

Beautiful house (although the living space is a little small for 4 people) in a beautiful setting. 1km through the woods and you're in the heart of Beynac. Amazing views from the pool and lovely tennis court. Should we go back to Beynac, la Tour Milou will definitely be the place we'll stay at. Thank you!

Gorgeous, peaceful location.

A lovely idylic but private location yet close to some of the Dordogne's prettiest villages. The pool was well used in the hot weather where the bats would join us at dusk ! The tower was well equipped and comfortable with lots of character and the children loved sleeping in the loft room.

Outstanding holidays in an outstanding house

We spent 2 fantastic weeks at the tour milou. All Pictures are real, the house is absolutely perfect with a good Quality, a beautiful surrounding and a great pool. My son loved this great pool, deep enough to dive and swim. The kitchen is small, but we cooked a lot. In 15 minutes you can walk to Beynac, we took there everyday our Baguette for breakfast. The tour milou is great, we can recommend it and I wasn't there the last time. From the terrace you have an outstanding view over the perigordian hills, there are only two houses around you, it's quiet and a good place on earth to relax. All rooms are very nice, my son loved his room under the Roof. Thanks for such great holidays in such a great house! Just try, you will love it!

Endroit très calme et bien situé

très bien équipé mais un peu sombre à l'intérieur.Sécurité à revoir au niveau du passage de la chambre vers la salle de bain, il faut passer par une marche de l'escalier. Très belle piscine chauffée, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de volet pour maintenir la chaleur pendant la nuit, surtout lorsqu'il pleut. Un peu cher si l'on tient compte d'autres locations Homelidays dans les environs. Ce serait sympa de la part du propriétaire de donner une réduction pour les visites du château de Castelnaud et des jardins de Marqueyssac puisque ces deux domaines lui appartiennent.

Wonderful setting.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tour Milou. The accommodation was cosy, clean and well-furnished with lovely views over the valley and woods. The location was wonderfully quiet and yet only a few minutes drive (or a 10 minute walk through the woods) to the beautiful town of Beynac, where there were very good restaurants. We spent most days exploring the Dordogne area and then relaxed with a bottle of wine on the elevated poolside soaking up the evening sun. The manager, Aurore, looked after us really well and was always on hand to assist us when required. The heated pool was not as warm as we would have liked, but that might have been due to the cooler weather. We would certainly recommend Tour Milou as a Dordogne base.

Brilliant accommodation in a fantastic spot!

We arrived at Tour Milou tired after a long journey but started to feel relaxed almost instantly. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully presented - the pictures on the website did not quite do it justice. Our kids were in the room at the top of the tower which they loved. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed for a holiday. The pool was clean and well maintained with fantastic views. Over the week we were there we enjoyed a number of meals sitting outside and watching hot air balloons rising over the trees. The house is a 10 minute walk from Beynac which has enough shops to cover essentials and is a very popular tourist destination. Whilst we did make use of the car, it would be possible to enjoy a week without needing it much. Some activities we did included visiting Sarlat-la-Caneda, canoeing down the Dordogne and a night-time visit to Les Jardins du Marquessac - this was a real highlight!
