Utility with washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave, sitting room and snug both with woodburners, snug with TV and a game room with pool table and table tennis. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, king-size with en-suite, double with en-suite, three doubles, and twin. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC, shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, and cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with lawned area, patio, gravelled area, furniture, pond, hot tub, and ample private driveway parking. Three well-behaved pets welcome, a fourth pet may be accepted by prior arrangement with the owner. Sorry, no smoking. Please note: The pond is not enclosed, please take care

Town: Trefonen is a rural village which stands between the ancient English border town of Oswestry and the Welsh village of Llanhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, home to Pistyll Rhaeadr, the UK’s highest single drop waterfall. This traditional village boasts a pub, shop and has Offa's Dyke pathway running through the village. It is located close to where the successful 1995 film “The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but Came Down a Mountain” was filmed. The whole area is surrounded by lovely countryside, which extends into the Berwyn Mountain Range - perfect for wonderful scenic walks and cycle trails, including along the Berwyn Ridge Pathway, the Offa’s Dyke Path and through the beautiful Tanat and Ceiriog Valleys. Visit the riverside town of Llangollen with the nearby Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (a World Heritage Site), Chirk and Powis Castles and Gardens, Erddig and Attingham Park, or visit the nearby market town of Ellesmere. Further afield lies the Welsh mountains and coast and picturesque Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, while the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, medieval Shrewsbury and the Roman city of Chester are also within driving distance. Trefonen is an ideal base for exploring Mid Wales, Shropshire and beyond.
