This historic house with its lay-out and location was perfect for our group! It is an old home with some antiques, some modern amenities and definitely off the beaten path. It has all the amenities one wants to include k-cup coffee maker and wifi tv, The hot water and water pressure were surprisingly really good for an old house. The location made it easy for us to ride the beautiful country side during the day, then all sit, relax, talk and catch up in the evening whether in the living room, sun room or on the porch. The owners were excellent with communication both prior to arrival and upon departure. Will definitely look to return in the future.

We rented for the weekend for a small private wedding. We held the ceremony on the front lawn using the house as a background. We had a candlelight dinner in the garden and dancing on the beautiful front porch. This property fit our vintage garden theme perfectly. Hosts were wonderful! Beautiful experience! We visited to tour Callaway and The Biblical History Center and the house was an extra bonus. The homeowners offered a tour of the home. Staying in the home is like staying in a history museum! Well Done.

The hosts seemed very available. I did not need them for anything. The house was amazing and the history of the house was extra. Ammenities were perfect even the Christmas tree and decorations. Lovely trip and will consider again!

Girls Weekend

We had a great stay. Enjoyed the winery, little white house, and Callaway Gardens. The house was perfect for us with plenty of space and areas to relex especially enjoyed the porch.

My mom, sisters and I loved the Hardaway Cottage. The owner was very nice, informative and made sure we felt welcomed. We loved the town of Warm Springs and Callaway Gardens. I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

A diamond in the rough

What a treat it was to stay in this beautiful, historical home! It was a perfect location for our trip to Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain.. We had a fully stocked kitchen that was a great asset for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. We hope to return!

Awesome historic experience

If you want to stay in a home that comes alive with history, this is a good bet. It's like staying in an antebellum home with modern amenities, such as wireless internet. Additionally, the porch views are quite relaxing, set against a rolling hill forest. The owners were very responsive and even gave us a private tour of the house, sharing its history with us.

Hidden gem close to town

Beautiful property. Has a very historic feel with updates to make your stay comfortable. We loved that the town of warm springs was just down the hill but it felt secluded. We went to enjoy the fantasy of lights at Callaway gardens. Callaway gardens is about 25 minutes away. Nice scenic drive along the way.

A slice of Americana

Our stay was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Elizabeth was very responsive and the home had it all. This home is very unique and a one of a kind experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hardaway Cottage!

Fabulous historic home

Four friends and I enjoyed a long weekend at Hardaway Cottage. The home is spacious and it's history is fascinating. It is close to many interesting destinations, like Callaway Gardens, Warm Springs treatment center, Roosevelt's Little White House and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hardaway. Historical charm with plenty of room

Our family stayed here over Thanksgiving and loved that we had plenty of room for everyone while also getting to stay in a historical house with an interesting history. It was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed visiting the local sights and town. Being wheelchair accessible was a must for our family and it was amazing to find a house like this that fit the bill. I’d highly recommend for family gatherings.

The owners were wonderful. The house is so interesting with a rich history. Loved the opportunity to spend time here. Kitchen well equipped. Good bedding and plenty of towels for a houseful. Easy location for access to warm springs. Only 20 minutes from callaway. Very quiet location. Loved it!!!

Family Christmas trip

I booked this house for our annual Christmas trip( we go somewhere different every year) This house was perfect for a big family. The front porch, and sunroom was amazing! Also one room was called the cousins room and it slept all 5 together! The kitchen was big enough to sit around the table drinking our coffee and enjoying the company! I would certainly stay again!
